My name is Matilda Marilyn Jose. I'm the youngest baby in my family. I have a brother who is two years older than me. My brother is the popular soccer player in our school... well, previous school. Anyways, i am fifteen years old and he is seventeen. We live with our granny and our mother. My dad left us when i was a year older and my brother was three. He does not know what I look like or what my brother look like.
Grandma is a witch and so is my mom. George is a wolf and half demon but his body has not yet decided which part it is keeping, so basically, he has not shifted into a wolf nor communicated with it. And me? Grandma said that i am a bender but i should never tell. So for my part, i can control some of the elements that are controlled by witches. Like water and fire. Everyday me and my granny we go to her secret spiritual place and train me with her husband. He is dead, but me and her can see her. Crazy right? Mom doesn't know this but granny said that i am not her biological daughter
She said mom was around sixteen when she had an accident and was pregnant with George, then she landed in coma. Granny found me on her farm one day and she brought me to the hospital when she went to check on mom and she woke up the same day. So granny led and said that i was her daughter. Mom was confused but since her brain was a little damaged, she didn't think that much about it. She was nineteen then. Technically i have no idea who my biological parents are. But am happy where i am now.
I have blue hair that is just above my waist and I have tried to cut it but George said i looked sexy with it. I have bluish green eyes that looks almost like mom's and partially like granny's. i have an average body of a teenager and i find it hard to make friends so i became the shadow of my brother. I follow him everywhere he goes. I used to follow him everywhere even when he went to the soccer practice. He used to fight but got used to it, he was nine and i was seven.
His old friends used to make fun of me and said i was his slave cause i would wait for him after school even if i was hungry. But now we are in the new city and all grown ups. i don't think he would allow me to follow him like a lost puppy. He used to say i was annoying cause i followed him to the bathroom even. I get that he needs his privacy but i don't have friends.
Then comes school next week. I honestly hate school cause i fail almost half of my subjects. And now it is far from home and in woods even. Like... who build schools in the woods? Yeah sure i know that most of the people here are wolves and all but can't they try to make school in public places? I mean, you do know that wrong turns lives in the woods right? I am not ready to have my head chopped off yet. What about those blood sucking vamps? Welcome to my doom called life.
