CHAPTER 4 *** Well Played !! ***

        ?THEME SONG OF THE CHAPTER? ★ Monster by Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber ★ [[ IRIS'S POV ]] My eyes swiped over those black uniforms that made me frowning hard undoubtedly. I wasn't acknowledged with their uniforms or nor could I remember to see them before. Except their eagle eyes, every part of their body was wrapped in a tight black polo outfit. Their aura was definitely frightening but not enough to frighten my spirit as I exhaled an exhausted sigh.  No more play today! Please!  Whom does they belong to exactly?  As my right palm subconsciously travelled up to my waistline intending to pull out my treasure, they were alarmed at my single movement immediately.  Pointing up their military riffle towards my head,I decided to low down my hand swiftly as one of them commanded sternly,  " Hands off little girl. Don't try to act smart and follow us quietly."  I sighed shrugging my shoulders off before put my palms together behind my head instinctively. One of the young lady in black reached behind my back before covering my face with a black vessel.  After that they quickly started dragging me towards an unknown path that I couldn't able to see through it passing the thick layer of clothe over my gaze.  After throwing me inside a backseat of the car, it drove away speedily ignoring the heavy rain as I heard the lady beside me informed her boss victoriously,  " We finally got her. On the way, boss."  I wandered who could be the boss exactly!  I just have arrived in the city for a few days!  Don't tell me it has something to do with him?  [[ XAVIER'S POV]] When I reached at my Party office on elephant Road, the members seemed rather excited than me and stood up abruptly appearing pale drastically.  I don't know what made them so frightened about me!  I admit that I might be a bit different or ruthless when it comes to dealing with my enemies but it didn't mean that I would be ruthless unnecessarily over them too.  Why should I? They are my people!  I knew that they had planned a surprise party for my birthday today. Even though I didn't feel super excited like normal people but my mom insisted on having fun with them for the entire night. Thus I had no way out rather than arriving here.  As I plopped down my discerned spot at the middle of the crowd, they all wished me one by one beaming into a flirtatious smile,  " Happy birthday, Mr President." " Long live the King of nation." I smiled with gratitude before toasting our wine glasses together as I took a swip from my wine later. The younger members of my party were too excited while decorating the cake for me as I shook my head helplessly. They still feel it so fascinating to do even after all this years..! As they all cheered me to cut the cake now, Scott made a sudden appearance beside my side hastily. He whispered cautiously in my ears notifying me about a sudden information as my eyes darkened after hearing out the chaos.  I ordered him briefly, " Call Derek.  I need him to reach at the boarder now." Scott nodded comprehensively as I hauled up from my spot drifting further apart from the cheering crowd. I didn't want to add them in this chaos nor did I wish to spoil their moods because of my personal reasons.  My eyes fell over the drizzling blankly through the transparent glassdoors that were falling down symmetrically on the Xmas trees.  I waited for Scott's command and soon after it really happened as he confirmed its done. Not to my surprise, my phone vibrated as I smirked knowingly before stuffing my hand into my pocket. Unlocking the screen, I saw the familiar number for the hundredth times must be before tapping on the answer button ready to hear him boasting proudly,  " Happy Birthday Mr.Gray..Aaahh...All of them must be celebrating this special day." I chuckled lightly giving him short yet unexpected reply, " Thank you..!" He was a little taken back before informing me sarcastically, " Well, I have prepared a present for you. Wanna see? Here... " My eyes dimmed as I heard my man's howling tone pleading and begging me constantly,  " Boss... Boss... They have.. abducted.. my daughter... Boss.. please don't abandon me.. Boss.. Boss.." I clenched my teeth tightly as my grip over the half foggy glass tightened harder. Controlling my rage inwardly,I heard his tone once again coldly, " How was that? Did you like my gift? Tsk.. Some people never learn just like you. We never win this game but still we play. I guess this time, perhaps the winner is determined by the god.. That's... m..." His words was interrupted at midway as I heard one of his man freaking out over the phone, " Boss...We are done.. All of our staffs had been confined by another gang group. What should we do now? It was nearly billion  dollars. " He gasped before continuing,  " But the worst part was that they had been arrested by the polices and must be tracing for the mastermind. What should we do? We were so cautious and it never occurred before." I smirked taking another sip leisurely from my cold wine as I heard him falling in silence exhaling a low of raspy breathing.  His voice sounded indifferent saying me, " Well Played Xavier! " Before I could give him a reply, he directly cut off the call leaving me laughing victoriously. It had been so many years, still he never gave up on me. I was honestly tired of playing this mouse and cat games which had caused so many people to be killed or injured.  But I was habituated over this matters as playing with blood had become a fantasy since my childhood.  You can never escape your own fate no matter where you go or where you run!  Turning around, I clapped my hands to seize back their attention over me and urged forming a blissful smile thar made their faces awestruck,  " Let's cut the cake boys. It's party time. "
