KATE I didn't say anything Infront of Dad when we got home but when I got to my room with Mom, I couldn't hold it in anymore. " Is Dad doing drugs ?" " Kate, how could you say such a thing about your father ?!" " He wants me to be my brother ? that's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Regardless of the fact that I would be an imposter , I don't know anything about business. Putting me as the chairman would mean epic fail for the company. Isn't he seeing that ?" " Kate ,calm down " Frustrated ,I went towards the mirror and touched my hair. I can't believe it was all gone now. " I'm sure your father just said that in the spur of the moment, I'll talk to him " Maybe there was still hope. Surprisingly, Dad listens to Mom . " There's nothing to talk about" Dad said entering my room" you , get prepared for the chairman appointment meeting tomorrow. why are you even complaining? you are finally going to be useful in this house. Shouldn't you be actually thanking me ?" " honey !!" " you've always wanted what your brother had , didn't you ? That's why you hurt his leg 25 years ago to stop him from going to school so you could go to first and now this ! Aren't you tired if being a bad luck ?! you are going to that meeting tomorrow and that's final "  Dad left my room and Mom followed suite.  I looked around me and blinked my eyes plenty times trying to keep the tears from falling but they came anyways . That night I wished I had died instead of Nate. *** The following morning as I walked into DELORE INC, I hoped everything would go well but I guess I was truly badluck because a very angry woman walked up to me and slapped me. What the hell??? " You rascal " she cursed " so was that why you broke up with me ? Because you were from a rich family? Did you think I was some sort of gold digger, Nate ?"  Ah,I get it. This was another one of my brothers problem and I was the one getting the punishment for it . Typical. But surely if I was acting as Nate from now , I'm sure Dad won't sit around and watch and watch someone hit his son but Dad had slapped me. " Why are you quiet? Apologize!"  What was I expecting? "Sor-" " That's enough. I don't want to see your face ever again . Ugh" . I clenched my fist and watched as the woman walked away .  We continued our way up to the meeting room. All the 16 board members were already seated .  " You are late " Mr An complained  He was the head of the accounting department. He hates Nate's gut because he and his daughter were supposed to get married but - I'm just going to stop here, thinking of all the things Nate has done wrong gives me headache- but I'm sure Mr An will go out of his way to make sure Nate doesn't get appointed today and that is the only saving grace I'm looking up to , today . " We apologize, we encountered an issue on our way up here " Dad said and  we got seated.   " So , let's cut to the chase .
