CHAPTER NINE

TITLE: My Miserable Life Octavia POV "Octavia...Octavia." The sound of my name became clearer, and the voice sounded really familiar, it belongs to mother. But, where I she? I felt a tap on my body, and I jerked, as my eyes flew open, that was when it dawned on me, that it was all a dream. It wasn't reality, I can't believe I got so scared in the dream. Letting out a sigh, I yawned tiredly, and sat up on the mat, before raising my gaze to see mom, still standing, but not as happy as usual. She always try to put on a smile for my sake, even when she's tired, and the woman standing before me now, is not like my cheerful mother. "Mother?" I called, and rubbed my eyes to see her clearly. A drop of tears slid down her cheeks, and I just couldn't help, but got worried. What could be wrong with her? Did she got hurt? "What happened mother?" I asked worriedly, as I finally got on my feet, and held her hands, as I looked at her face keenly, like the answer to my question, was written on her face. "You...your dad." She stuttered with a trembling mouth, as more tears came pouring down her cheeks. I looked at her in confusion for seconds, wondering what the problem is, did father got hurt? Releasing her hands from mine, I stormed out of my room to their own room, and without knocking, I burst in, but stopped in my track, with my eyes widened in shock, as I was welcomed with the most heartbreaking sight of my life, there was father, laying on the mat, looking so pained, with bruises all over his body. "Father!" My mouth trembled, as I stood rooted to the spot, not being able to wrap my head around what the whole shit was all about. He managed to turn his head to my direction, as a drop of tears slid down his eyes. Hot tears poured down my eyes, I opened my mouth to talk, but words failed me, my heart tightened in pains and anger, who dare to do this to my father? Is it a crime to not be born with a silver spoon? Is it a crime to be poor? Each day, they go out to God knows where, work themselves to pulp, come back all tired, and sleep with an empty stomach. Just what have we done to moon goddess, to be punishing us in this manner? At times, I feel so miserable, I feel like I'm the reason they're suffering like this, I just feel like I should never have existed, I feel like I should just disappear, and never come back to their lives, but will they be able to take the pains? Will they be able live, without their only daughter, whom they're trying to protect, even with their lives? I finally managed to move my legs from the spot, as I walked over to the mat, where he was laying almost lifeless, and sat beside his head. I just couldn't help the tears, that kept streaming down my cheeks, I just couldn't control it, seeing both of my parents in pains, has always been my only weakness, I hate seeing them hurt, they're too precious to me. "Father." I called in tears, as took his head, and rested it on my straight legs. He opened his eyes slowly, but closed it back, as tears poured from his eyes. The door opened, and I didn't need anyone to tell me that it was mom. "Who did this?" I asked in anger, not raising my head to look at her. I've made up my mind, I don't care about the consequences, but I'm going to make sure that I make whoever did this to my father, pay for everything, I'll make him or her, feel a million of the pains, which my poor father is going through now, and when I start my revenge, I won't stop, not until I reach climax. "See...Octavia you have to be cal..." "Don't tell me to calm down mother!" I snapped angrily, as I carefully dropped father's head on the clothes that was used to support it, before I got on my feet and faced mom, with so much anger in me. I know I'm not supposed to get mad at her, I know I shouldn't raise my voice at her, but then, that's the only way. They're in pains, and decided not to talk, for the sake of protecting me, like she always said. "Octavia..." "Mother please. I'll ask this just once, and if you don't tell me, I'm going out there to ask people myself, and face the consequences, but not after making that bastard, that dare to raise his or her hand on my father, pay for every pains he's going through now. So mother, speak up!" I snapped furiously, as more tears came rolling down my cheeks. "Octavia please." Father's weak voice came on, as he stretched his hand, trying to reach me. I stared at him for seconds, before turning and storming out of the house, ignoring mother's calls. I just wanna be alone, I need to clear off my head. I ran out of the house, and soon, I was already striding down the thick dark forest, as more tears came rolling down my cheeks. I stopped running, then looked up to the sky, as I let out a scream. My body heat up, I could feel my eyes blazing with fire, and soon, my whole body lit up in flames. I was burning, but the fire didn't have any effect on me. Soon, I felt weak, as my legs started wobbling, I fell on my knees and cried heavily, as I couldn't take it anymore. "Argh!" I screamed on top of my voice again, as I breath heavily, trying to control my beast, which was trying to take over me. "Don't always let your anger control you." I heard a voice behind me.
