EPILOGUE Back at the Willow Tree
Arianna smiles to herself when she sees the wooden swing still attached to the Willow tree. It has been almost 10 years since she had it done with the help of Bran and Caspian as a surprise for her best friend Jo who is returning home from Alaska.
Now, the wood color is already faded but still sturdy as ever. The roses remain in bloom with the magical enchantment they have casted so it's a combination of blue and green.
Caspian is by her side carrying a green basket. He is walking relatively slow so as not to shake the basket too much.
Arianna smiles at Caspian. Her protective ranger… is now a protective father and her loving husband. He is the crowned King of the Green Haven. They care for the Earth realm together as King and Queen.
Things have been too busy at the Fairy realm. So, it took a while for them to visit the human world.
A lot has changed in the fairy kingdom.
King Merlion and Queen Alina spend most of their time in the Blue Haven now with King Oberon and Queen Meridian. The four stands as Regents of the Four Realms.
Her Queen Aunt Ava is now married to Aramir and has the future Prince Aramis. He is already five and is eager to be a ranger like his father.
Queen Aine and King Hakan are the only unchanging rulers of the White Haven and Orange Haven respectively. They are as strong as ever. The fairies look up to them as head advisors of the Four Realms.
Aldar and Melandra remain the head rangers of the Earth fairies though Melandra's attention is mostly occupied by their daughter Alejandra. She is almost 10 years old now and as feisty as her mother.
'Anna! You made it!"
Arianna's thoughts on the fairy realm is forgotten instantly when she sees her best friend Jo coming up to her.
'You look so beautiful!"
Arianna compliments Jo in her pale blue wedding dress.
They embrace each other just as tightly as when they were still teenagers.
'I missed you. Hi Caspian! Is that my lovely niece Carianna?"
Jo moves to take the green basket from Caspian.
'Careful there… she sleeps so peacefully."
Caspian says handing the basket to Jo as carefully as he could.
'Where is the groom?"
Caspian inquires looking around the busy grounds all set up for the wedding. He sees Bran walking towards them in his blue gray suit.
'You missed me too, right?"
Bran asks Caspian teasingly.
The two rangers shake hands.
'Congratulations!"
Caspian greets.
'Come on Joanna, the ceremony is about to start."
Bran takes Jo's hand as they start to walk down the improvised aisle.
Caspian carries the green basket once more with one hand and holds Arianna's hand with the other. Both find their seats beside Popsie and Marmee. The parents of Jo sit on the other side of the aisle.
As Arianna watches the wedding ceremony, she feels an overwhelming happiness in her heart. Her eyes catch the slight shine of the emerald locket of her necklace, now wrapped around her little girl's wrist.
Love has a way of overcoming obstacles. Her best friend Jo and Bran is another proof of that.
After the proclamation of Queen Ava on allowing fairy kin to live in proximity with humans, Bran did not waste any time and requested to live with Popsie Reed and Marmee Rose. It was not really surprising for anyone then. Bran seems really into the human stuff most especially food.
They never have predicted that Bran chose to stay in the human world to be closer with Jo.
Arianna smiles once more at that thought. She glances at her husband who is apparently looking at her too.
'I love you my Queen."
Caspian says as sweetly as he could manage.
'I love you more my King."
And they lived happily ever after.
