HAPPINESS IS RESTORED It's been almost a month now since Nichole's scandalous activities. The police investigative team has tried to track down Nichole but to no avail. Lian was on the phone with Clifford, discussing how to handle the whole issue. "Let's close this case since we are not getting anywhere with the investigation," said Clifford "Okay bro, as you wish. I will go to the station and do that. I'll call you back later." Lian replied and hung up Rosita was in the kitchen when she heard her phone ring buzz... buzz. buzz..... "Honey....., please can you get me the phone., she called to her husband "Okay sweetheart.." Clifford brought the phone to her in the kitchen "Here you are dear, it's mum." he smiled and left. "Hello, mum.." Rosita answered " Rosita, why are you not here yet? Have you forgotten that today is your baby shower?" "Oh... so sorry mum, I forgot. I will be there right away," she answered "Okay dear, then make it fast. Anyway, have you heard from your mum?" Mad. Flora asked Rosita's family moved to the states after her marriage when her dad's company transferred him to the Head Office to assist in managing the company's affairs. Rosita have been in contact with them there after but never told them any of her problems because she doesn't want to make them worry her mum. 'Yes mum" she replied 'Okay dear, that's good but hurry here soon. The team in charge of the baby shower are all in wait." 'Oka doesn't want. Bye for now," she replied and hanged up, and rushed out from the kitchenchenhen. Cliff….Cliff…., we've got to go now. 'Okay dear… They both quickly left the house LIAN'S APARTMENT Everybody was busy moving up and down in the house making things ready, to leave to Rosita's baby shower. " Lian...., where did you put my purse?!" asked Kathie "Check your closet dear!" replied Kathie quickly went for his purse, got the kids ready and they left. Lian made a conference call with Nicholas and Houston on their way to the mansion. " Where are you guys?" he asked Nicholas & Houston: We are already with mum at the mansion. "Okay, we will be there soon," he replied and hung up HOLLANDS' MANSION All the families got to the mansion, helping in organizing the program. In an hour, all was set and the program kicked start. Rosita was beautiful in her gown with her baby bump. Clifford couldn't resist her beauty, he went closer to her and praised her. "You are looking so gorgeous," he said and planted a kiss on her cheeks " Thank you sweetheart." she smiled and kissed him back. "I have a surprise for you dear," said Clifford "Really....." she said smiling "Please, let them in," said Clifford to one of the workers. The worker opened the door for them to get in. Rosita stirred at the door in surprise "Mum..., Dad...." She called out in surprise and ran to hug them. "Mum.., when did you people get here?" she asked " Just now dear, Mad. The flora here told us that today is your baby shower so your dad asked for a day leave and so, here we are." her mum said smiling "I missed you guys so much." "I know sweetheart but forgive mum and dad dear. We've not been able to visit nor have time for you." said her dad to her. "Don't say anymore dad, I know you guys love me," she replied and hugged them again The whole family looks on happy as Rosita and her family reunite. The party continued with sharing of pleasantries and dining. Soon, it was time for Rosita's family to leave back to the states. Rosita and her husband escorted them to the airport and bided their farewells. The rest of Rosita's journey to motherhood continued peacefully with going to motherhood seminars, antenatal, and shopping for baby clothes with Kathie and the rest. (NINE MONTHS LATER) CLIFFORDRD'S APARTMENT Clifford was busy working on a document in the living room. Suddenly, he heard Rosita scream from the bedroom. Aaah.......! Cliff........! He quickly stood up and rushed into the bedroom and meet his wife on the floor screaming in pains. "Cliff....., the baby....., it's coming! she screamed He took the car keys, rushed down, started the car, and took Rosita in. He quickly rushed back into the house again, took the bag that they have kept the baby's things, and drove off to the hospital. The nurses quickly rushed out on seeing the car pull up in front of the hospital and took Rosita into the Labour Ward. Clifford called the rest of the family as he was in wait. Within a second, all the family rushed to the hospital like lighting. " Cliff...." Nicholas called on getting to the hospital "How is it going?" Lian and the rest asked "She is still in labor," he answered Just then, they heard the cry of a baby and the doctor came out. Doctor: Congratulations Mr. Hollands, your wife has given birth to a bouncy baby girl." All the family jubilated "Thank you, Doctor, he replied." The family sat patiently and waited as Rosita was transferred to a private ward. "Please you can go in and see your wife now." said a nurse to Clifford "Thank you." The whole family went into Rosita's room congratulated and gave her presents. A few minutes later, a nurse walked in with her baby. "Here is your baby ma'am," said the nurse and gave the baby to Rosita. She took and baby in her arms, turned to look at her husband, and then back to the baby.
