WELCOME, BABY RILEY Rosita sat on the bed with her baby in her arms waiting for her husband to return from the doctor's office so she can get discharged. Mad. Flora walked in, "Mum, you are here." Rosita asked smiling "Yes sweetheart, I heard from Lian that you will be discharge today so I came." Flora "Thank you, mum–," The former uttered as her lips curved into a smile. ' Clifford just left for the doctor's office to sign my discharge documents. Oh, here he is," she said and pointed at the door "Mum, you are here." he came to his mum and hugged him. Clifford took Rosita and the baby's luggage and they all left the hospital. CLIFFORD'S APARTMENT All the family was already at Clifford's apartment waiting to welcome Rosita and the baby with gifts. "They are here......! Lian shouted as Clifford packed his car. Clifford smiled on, seeing them, and took Rosita and the baby in. Kathie, Melissa, Leyla, and Vanessa came to Rosita. " Let me have the baby., asked Leyla and took the baby from Rosita "Congratulations, Rosie," said Melissa and Vanessa "Thank you." Rosita asked to be pardoned and went upstairs to freshen up. She came back and joined the family as they celebrates and welcome the baby "So Cliff, what should we call the baby.?" asked Nicholas while smiling at Clifford. The latter instinctively drew his wife, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "So Sweetheart, what should we call her." he asked smile Rosita stood quietly for awhile, smiled at her husband and answered, "We will call her Riley." "That's a beautiful name dear." he answered "Welcome baby Riley" They all chorused "Let me hold my granddaughter." Mad Flora said and Kathie in turn smiled, handing over baby Riley to her. "Such an adorable baby you are. Welcome to our family baby Riley." she said, smiling They celebrated for awhile, laughing and giggling. It was soon getting late and Riley and the baby had to rest "We will start leaving now Cliff." said Mad.Flora "Yes Cliff, Rosita and the baby needs to rest." said Nicholas in agreement to his mum "Okay" They hugged and bided their farewells. Clifford saw them off to their cars and they all took off, going to their various homes. He returned back to the house and took his wife and baby upstairs. "Let me hold Riley as you go and get her things ready to wash her." "Okay sweetheart." she replied Rosita went to get the baby's things and came to wash, dress and fed her to sleep. She took her to her court and laid her down gently not to wake her. Clifford sat quietly adoring this lovely scene before him. "You two look so beautiful together" said Clifford to his wife. Rosita smiled and looked down on her baby "Yes, we do." she said and smiled "Sweetheart, I need to go and freshen up so keep your eyes on her." she said, leaving to the wash room. She came back within some few minutes and Clifford also went. Rosita was on bed reading a magazine on How to keep your baby happy and healthy when Clifford returned. "Come here, Sweetheart," she called when she saw here husband standing at the entrance, of the washroom. Clifford crawled up on to the bed to where his wife was and sat up, cuddling her in. "Rosie....." he called "huh....." she replied softly "Do you remember the time you got kidnapped by Nichole and got shot?" "Yes Sweetheart...,It was so terrible." She answered and he nodded in return . "Yes dear," He uttered. 'At that moment, I thought I had a lot you and our baby. My whole world crumbled before me.", "I am so sorry for not listening to you earlier when you talked about Nichole." She replied " Okay, sweetheart. No need to worry about it, anymore dear, because its all over now and, also, I'm here to protect you and our baby." He smiled and kissed her forehead. Rosita smiled and they both traveled their gaze to the baby, watching as she slept peaceful.
