Aviena's POV "What?" I stared at River as he lifted my luggage. I don't know why I'm annoyed with everything it does. He has the power to annoy. I was annoyed because I felt like he was just being nice to me because he and Marissa were having a lover's quarrel right now. I can't help but be overwhelmed by that idea. 'Why are you getting mad at me? Are you still thinking about us making a baby?" he laughed at his question. Obviously, he's teasing me. I pushed him away from me so he laughed while avoiding it. I don't really know what's gotten to him right now. He's just really annoying. When we got to the bedroom, less than a second later we were called out. All of them are enjoying the day. While I want this marriage to end so that I can go home and breathe. They are just so tiring. 'You two can't stay together. The marriage may not happen if you're just in one room. " I couldn't help but laugh there. Many people say that it is forbidden to see each other before you got married because it is bad luck. Even if we're still together, we won't last long, so I also don't get why we need to do that. Also, we are already married. 'No need, Tita. We're already married. It's not necessary anymore," River said, so his Aunt just looked at him. She would say something more but River's grandfather stopped her immediately. They are already having fun. River's cousins are already swimming with Marissa. Tashi's the only one who asked me to join them. They're just all ignoring me. Or do you only love him because of his money?" She didn't even take the time to ask me. I just smiled there. I'm also not sure what to answer. I don't want to lie to her either. Of course, no mother wants to hear something like that from someone else. He's precious to her. 'See? You can't even answer that simple question. How can my son choose someone like you?" she calmly asks. I don't know if there was an insult in the voice. She's still elegant but her words feel like a dagger. I just bowed when she finally left my side. I just play with the sand with my feet. This should be alright so I won't be guilty about having the house he gave me because this is hard. Not everything is easy. Every day you have to cry secretly to get it. That's just what happened for the past few days. They are often the only ones having fun. Ate Rose, Girlbert, Ate's boyfriend, and Atasha who is the only friend I invited are not here yet. And of course, Tom, that guy will probably get mad at me if I don't tell him about this marriage. And since I'm a gold digger, I tolerate the coldness of his family. I was walking alone on the beach because they all wanted to be with Marissa. They're even going to island-hop later but they didn't try to invite me because they said I can't be stressed for the past few days. We will be married in three days. 'Do you want to island-hop? Just the two of us? " River asked me when he noticed my silence. I don't know if it's because he doesn't want to be with his Auntie so he invited me today or because of what but since I also have nothing to do, I just chose to nod. Less than a few hours later, I saw myself on the yacht with him. I don't know where this yacht came from. It's even bigger than the yacht his family will use. "Grandpa gave it to us as a gift," he said so my eyes immediately widened. "Huh?" My lips just remained open. I know that they're really rich but this is just too much. You think they are just giving away coins to someone else. We headed to the deck area of this yacht. There are wine and food there. We sat side by side while looking at the sea. Since I'm a great social climber and it's already awkward because no one speaks to the two of us by River, I took a photo of my view with my feet. "I'll take a photo of you," River said. He took his cell phone next to him. I couldn't help but nod before posting. I feel embarrassed while posting in front of him. I don't know why I'm getting shy right now even though I'm always fine in front of the camera. I just let out a wide smile until the end. 'Where should I send it?" he asked. "Airdrop?" I answered the question. He didn't seem to like it but he ended up nodding his head. "I'll take a picture of you, Sir," a crew said, who immediately brought another wine. River and I are both sitting now. I just let out a smile at the camera. "With the sea now, Ma'am, Sir." The reason why River and I stood up. My lips parted slightly when he squeezed my waist closer to him because the crew who was taking the picture of us kept on saying 'closer' and 'closer'. I just stared at the camera as I felt River stare at me. It seems to be biting into my body. I just stopped myself from looking back at him because I would definitely drown again. I didn't know how to get up. When it ends, he doesn't even have a plan to let go of me go. I just nodded there before we headed to the chair. "Do you want to take a photo of you too?" I asked while smiling at him. He just shook his head there. I pouted. I used to search about him back then when I sometimes saw him at social gatherings with those celebrities. We're just enjoying the sun, wind, and water while drinking some wine. No one speaks among the two of us. I was even able to search his name on instagram. I use to stalk him but almost of his photo there are stolen. I can't find his account anymore. "It's RiverSavellano now." I almost jumped in panic when I noticed that he was right next to me. He was holding a bottle of wine while he was next to me. "It seems like you're finding my account," he said so my eyes widened as I returned it to my cellphone. "What?" I was a little confused. I could see the smile on his lips so I was immediately irritated. I don't know why I'm annoyed at him again. "Stop being assuming!" I said looking at him before hiding my phone. He just laughed before shrugging. I can't avoid being pouty because of that. "You stupid!" I shout but he still does not lose the smile on his lips. 'What? I'm not even saying anything anymore, " he told me, still smirking. He looks so playful right now. Very different from the always serious River. I glared at him but he wasn't even scared. He was just laughing instead. "Do you want to try scuba diving?" he asked me. I immediately shook my head. I'm not an adventurous person. I was afraid to try stuff. I just want to do the thing I'm comfortable with. It's like where my comfort zone is, I'll just keep on staying there. He just looked at me before nodding. When we were just in the middle of the sea, I couldn't help but smile on my lips as I surveyed the whole area. This is what you called healing. "It's beautiful…" I said unable to avoid a smile. "You're beautiful," he said so I immediately turned to him and looked at him again. I don't know if he's teasing but if so it's super effective because I'm annoyed with the idea of him flirting with me now even though he has a girlfriend. I couldn't help but stare at him before he raised an eyebrow. They just have a lover quarrel, is he looking for a new one already? Is it already flirting with other people? "You can't take me with your smile and flirtation!" I gave a glare at him so he raised an eyebrow at me while there was a smirk on his lips. "I'm not even doing anything yet?" he asked with a smile so I narrowed my eyes at him. He just laughed and grinned. I was immediately surprised when he suddenly jumped on the yacht. He was clearly falling into the water. We are in the deep part so I can feel the roar of my heart. 'Manong ! Big Brother! River! River jumped! " I shouted loudly, not knowing what to do. It's on the other side of the yacht so I don't know if they can hear me. Maybe it was just my instinct that told me to jump so I did. I was fucking scared to death and only knows the basics of swimming but I did. As soon as I jumped, he grabbed me with one hand before locking me in his arm as we went up. I gasped as I got up. I looked at River in disbelief. My lips parted as he was amazed and the smirk on his lips was still visible which annoyed me. "What the fuck, River?" I pushed him before boarding the yacht. He helped me but I didn't want to touch him. My chest tightens. He didn't even say anything! He simply jumped as if he had memorized the sea! 'Don't you dare touch me! I will slap your hand! " I shouted so loudly that he just laughed before stepping next to me. I'm even more annoyed because he can't take things seriously. As if it was all a joke for him. I just gave him a bad look before glaring at him. I also walk to enter the yacht while he just followed me. "Are you mad?" he asked. He seem like he was amazed as he watched me. 'You fucking scared the fuck out of me! Then now you will ask if I am angry? Are you stupid?" I shouted loudly at him. His face was slightly shocked but soon he was already smirking. 'Hmm, I didn't know that you care about me that much, huh?" It's like that's all he heard about! Stupid, Brute!
