So it was like a dream come true for her but in a different way. She took her phone and passed a call across to olivia. Olivia picked after the second ring. "Hello babe, what's up" Olivia said from the other end but Astrid only kept quiet, lost in thought. " If you know you called just to keep quiet you'd better hang up" Olivia said again and that brought Astrid from her thoughts. "Oh Olivia, I wanted to inform you that I've agreed with him and he said he would send his lawyer to me so I can sign the documents," Astrid said and Olivia giggled without saying a word. "What's with the giggles, it's actually not funny you know' Astrid said. "It's nothing babe, come on I'm just happy for you that's all, and you'll finally have the money to pay for your fees and rent a new apartment." She said "Yeah, that was Part of the reason I accepted his offer." Astrid said "But come to think of it, in a few weeks you'll start living in his house, how would you cope with it?" Olivia asked, concerned about Astrid. "Don't worry about me, I'll find a way," Astrid said. "That reminds me, have you told your parents about this?" Olivia asked "No, but I will". She replied and silence followed. "OK then see you later, have a nice day" "You too," Astrid said and hung up. She sighed and sat on her bed, she thought for a while before taking her bag to prepare for school. ******* Robin couldn't contain his joy, he was so happy that finally she accepted the offer. He quickly placed a call across to his lawyer and told him about the news. They talked for a while before ending the call. He quickly called his mum and broke the news to her, his mum was happy for him and she could not hide the fact. After the call with his mum he went to his mini bar in his living room and took a red wine, he served himself but later dropped it deciding to celebrate with Astrid He called his Secretary to book a restaurant for both of them. He took his phone and put a call across to Astrid she picked up at the second ring. Hello Astrid said from the other end. Hey, I was thinking if we could go on a date, to celebrate. He said Don't you think it's too early to go on a date? She asked. You know, it's our first date, and we might be getting married anytime soon. Astrid thought for a while, although she didn't like the idea, but she had to do it since she had no other option and he was kind of right, it's their first date before the wedding would take place, she came to the conclusion that she would go for the date. OK then she said. I'll send my driver to come pick you by 7pm, is that okay by you? he asked. Yeah, I think it's cool, see you by 7. She said and hung up. Robin took the phone from his ear and looked at the screen surprised. Wait, the last time I checked, I was the one that called her not the other way around, why would she end the call on me? He asked no one in particular. He chuckled and took his bag before going out of the House. Good morning boss his guards greeted as he made his way to the garage. He waved at them with smiles. Good morning boss, his driver greeted with a bow when he got to the car. Morning kelvin, to the company he said and got into the car without waiting for any reply from him. Kelvin didn't waste any more time, he got into the car and took off. Minutes later, the car came to a halt in front of the company, a guard quickly rushed to it and opened the door with a bow as Robin stepped out. He walked with one hand in his pocket and the other hand holding his bag. As he walked, his sweet fragrance filled the air. Wow, my boss is so cute. I wish he is my boyfriend I love his personality I wish I can have a one night stand with him Immediately he turned back, they all kept quiet, he walked straight to the person that said the last sentence, the girl was already shaking, aside the fact that Robin is a cool boss, he is also strict when it comes to work. And if you said one more word, you'd lose your job, he said before turning on his laptop. Alex had no other option than to keep quiet, because he knows one more word from him would cost him his job.
