Chapter 27 The Clue

聽 聽聽Janet didn't聽really聽know how to fight. 聽 聽聽But it wasn't that Janet didn't know how to fight. She mainly wanted to try how effective her gene potion was. 聽 聽聽And she always felt furious after injecting the gene potion. 聽 聽聽She desperately wanted to fight someone. 聽 聽聽The mechanical girl had just broken someone's shoulder blade and was聽a little聽embarrassed. "I can practice with you," she said. 聽 聽聽Janet hurriedly said, "You don't have to let me." 聽 聽聽The mechanical girl nodded for a real warrior, that would be disrespectful. 聽 聽聽"Wow," the onlookers say. "She's so confident." 聽 聽聽Carter and Sherry stand nervously by. They were apprehensive about Janet. 聽 聽聽If she lost this time, Janet might have to be called names. 聽 聽聽People were so keen on making and destroying gods she was sure to cause a storm. 聽 聽聽The audience grew larger and larger next to her. Some people brought snacks and small benches, and others placed bets. 聽 聽聽"I heard that she just took a genetic potion. Who do you think will win?" 聽 聽聽"Janet has a good chance of winning. I think she's always surprised." 聽 聽聽"I don't know," said another, "Zella's from Grayhawk. She's got a perfect record." 聽 聽聽Someone said, "Grayhawk Squad. "I know that team. They had a mishap with a contaminated area rating error, and the whole team had to write a review and have their pay docked." 聽 聽聽Janet suddenly felt terrible. 聽 聽聽The good news was that she knew the name of the steel beauty in front of her was Zella. 聽 聽聽The bad news was that Janet seemed to have pissed her off a while ago. 聽 聽聽The last time they met in the sewers, the entire Hunter team was wearing armor, and Janet hadn't even noticed that there were girls on the team. 聽 聽聽It's no wonder Zella came to meet Janet when she was on the field. If they聽failed聽again, the entire cleaning center might shame them. 聽 聽聽Janet and Carter both suffered extra training, and Janet was beaten up for another hour by a hunter who specialized in fighting. 聽 聽聽Janet was changing in the locker room near the end of her shift. With a ding-dong sound, her sub-brain went off. 聽 聽聽Nora sent over a message. 聽 聽聽She sent a kitten-face emoji with the message, "The information you asked for." 聽 聽聽Information on Forever Pharmaceuticals! 聽 聽聽Forever Pharmaceuticals had a lead.
