57. Successful Surgery

At GF Corp, today around 1:30 p.m. there was a meeting with Kiano's client. As usual, Kiano now invited his secretary and also Nara for a meeting at Gifer's office. She looked back to where her brother was with his sincere face filled with questions. "I'm going to the beach for a while to meet up with my friend, brother. Don't wait for me, after that I'll go home." What a lie. After saying that, Nara immediately left leaving Kiano who was still frozen there. "Ah, a friend, huh? Friend, or a messenger?" Kiano whispered after seeing Nara had moved away from where he was standing now. . When they arrived at a beach that was not visited by many people, Nara shouted loudly because she did not accept Jimin who had received an eye donor. "AAAARRRRRGGHHH! What did Gifer's secretary say earlier? Gifer didn't go because he was undergoing eye surgery. How can it be missed like this!!! No! Gifer must never be able to see again! ARRRGGGH!" Nara said while messing up her straight hair. _ At Harapan Bangsa Hospital, Belvina, Anggi, and Haris were still waiting by sitting on chairs in front of the operating room. The atmosphere was so tense, it had been almost 2 hours but the operation had not yet been completed, making Belvina very worried. At once negative thoughts came over her, but she immediately dismissed them. She believed that Gifer would get through all of this smoothly. "I'll buy some drinks first. You guys wait here," Haris broke the silence that engulfed the three of them. "Yes, Haris. Come back soon." Haris just nodded in response and started to leave to buy some drinks. After Haris left, Anggi asked Belvina. "Vin? You must be very panicked," "Yes, Gi. I'm still afraid of failing. But no, I have to be optimistic, right?" Belvina unconsciously nibbled on her fingernails because of the panic. "Be patient, Vin. Gifer is also struggling there. Don't panic." Anggi calmed her down while touching Belvina's shoulder. Belvinaa also responded to Anggi with a sweet smile. Not long after that, the doctor came out of the operating room to inform the patient's condition to Belvina and Anggi who were waiting outside the room. Seeing the doctor come out of the operating room, Belvina and Anggi immediately stood up. "Doctor, how was the surgery?" Belvina asked excitedly. Seeing the doctor's expression really made Belvina down because there was no smile on the male doctor's lips. "Mm, patient..." The doctor still paused his sentence with a facial expression that was difficult to interpret, between sadness and disappointment. Belvina was sure that the surgery might fail. She could only resign herself to it and keep a straight face. "Just tell me, doctor. If indeed..." Belvina's words were cut short as the doctor immediately signaled by showing her right palm. "Wait, don't talk yet," "Patient..." "Why, doctor, be clear. We are in a panic," said Anggi. The doctor laughed at Anna who was also panicking. "Hahaha." "How come you're laughing, anyway. It's not clear, it's not a joke, doctor," Anggi was already panicking too, but the doctor was joking. "Hahaha, yes, you don't need to be tense anymore. The operation went well. I will guarantee that the patient can see again. It's just that he is still unconscious due to the influence of the anesthetic," explained the doctor. Hearing that, Belvina immediately changed her face from gloomy to happy. The corners of her thin lips were raised. "Seriously, doctor?" Asked Belvina with teary eyes. When the doctor had left and passed by Haris who was still confused because he saw two girls there looking happy but with the doctor who had left the operating room. "Hey, why do you look happy?" Haris asked. "Here, I bought some mineral water, drink it," he continued. "Ah, thank you." Both said in unison. They both accepted it and drank it immediately. "How can I not be happy, the operation was successful," Anggi said excitedly. "Seriously? Thank you, God," Haris was very grateful that his best friend's surgery was successful. "Now can you come to visit yet?" "Yes not yet, we haven't moved to the hospital room, we still have to wait," "Well, waiting again."
