Jason Derulo: - Marry me. Joseph 2 Years later. "Mr. Sanchez, your car is ready now." My personal assistant said that, and I nodded my head in response. Today is a very special day for me because today is the day I've been waiting for since two years ago. The opening of my new hotel in Paris Right now, I'm standing in front of the mirror and adjusting my suit a bit before I leave the room. I take my phone off the coffee table, press the lift, and then get in. I feel so nervous. Usually I don't feel like this, but today I do. I feel like my heart is going to run out of my body because it's too fast. I take a deep breath before making my way out of the lift and making my way to where my car is. My driver opened the door for me to get in. I look at the time and then at my lock screen, which shows Thea's picture. I never change my lock screen to something else. Even if I changed it, it's still going to be Thea's picture because she's so beautiful and I deserve to look at it every day. For today, I was supposed to fetch her up, but she refused because she wanted to go with Alexa. Yeah, because today is my special day, Elijah and his family will come to Paris to congratulate me. I'm going to meet them all there. "Sir, we're here." My driver said to me I didn't realise the car had already stopped because I was too busy looking at the ring. I'm going to propose to Thea tonight. That's why I'm so nervous now. I hope everything works just as I want it to. I want it to be perfect and make this night memorable for everyone who sees it. The door opens, and I get out of the car. As always, the reporter and their big camera also flashed as soon as I stood in front of the entrance. I smile a bit and then walk inside quickly. I take a breath before continuing to walk. The crew escorted me to the main hall. I see there are a lot of people who have already arrived. I look around and search for my love. I roam around the hall until my eyes fall on one woman who's wearing a black gown and looking so elegant, and she's mine forever. I smile and walk to her, and I can also see Elijah and his family are also there. "Bro!" Elijah greets me. "How are you feeling? Nervous?" I punch him in the arm because all of them here knew that tonight I was going to propose to Thea, but she's got no clue about what's going to happen tonight. This man is going to ruin my plan. "Chill," he said. I walk to her and wrap my arm around her waist. She looks at me and smiles. I pecked a kiss on her red lips. "You look so gorgeous tonight, dear." I said it to her, and she chuckled. Well, you look handsome too, Mr. Sanchez." She said. "Stop calling me that." Awe, did someone get pissed when I called him that? Sorry baby." She kisses me, and I kiss her back. At least kissing her makes me less nervous. We break the kiss, and I hug Elijah's parents. "Congratulations Joseph. We're so proud of you." "Thanks," I reply. "Uncle!" I see the twins come to me with a smile on their faces. "We want to congratulate you too." Then they hugged me. I love them, and I can't wait to have my own son and daughter soon. Just then, one of the crew members called me. That means the event is going to start, as well as the proposed time. I start to feel nervous again. I hug Thea before I walk and get on the stage. I take the mic and clear my throat before beginning my speech. Everyone's attention is on me now. "Good evening, everyone. As you all know, the reason you're here is because we're going to celebrate the opening of this hotel. This hotel takes like 4 years to completely complete like this, and thanks to the interior designer who makes this hotel look more beautiful and amazing, I also would like to thank all the workers who took part in this project until it was successful. So for tonight, let's enjoy our night together and celebrate this opening. Enjoy and thank you." I didn't take too much time to talk because I don't like to give long speeches. I get down from the stage, and everyone starts to enjoy themselves by talking and all. Only a few minutes until my plan goes into action. Thea's picture has appeared on that big screen since the first time we met until now. Then there goes my time to get on my knees and ask her to marry me, and yes, that's the plan. I often check my pocket to see if the ring is still there or not. I walk near Elijah and everyone and mingle for a bit. "Bro, I can't wait for it. Really." He said to me: "I'm nervous as hell. What if she rejects me? It will be so embarrassing." I said. "I'm sure she will say yes." Just when I wanted to open my mouth to talk, the big screen started to light up, and the music came out first. I turned to see Thea. She looked at the screen, and her eyes widen when she sees her pictures on the screen. I approach her, and she looks at me. "Did you do that?" She asks me, and I just smile at her. "Why are you doing this? Its embarrassing." She hissed, but I shut her up by pecking a kiss on her lips. "Just watch, dear." I said, and I heard her sigh before continuing to see her pictures. Just about five more pictures, and then it's time to do my part. A few minutes later, the show had already finished, and now the screen showed me and her. She turned and looked at me with a confused face. I hold her hands and look into her eyes. I act cool even though, on the inside, I'm shaking like crazy. "Thea, I know our first meeting didn't turn out to be nice, but the first time I met you, I could see something different in you. You didn't care about anything except food. Every time we went out, you just thought about food, but that's not me complaining because I love to see your true self. You're my best friend, my love, my girlfriend, and most importantly, you're my interior designer... " I look at her and take out the ring box, then put one knee on the floor. "So Thea, will you be my woman forever and live happily with me?" She closed her mouth with her hands, and I could see tears coming out of her eyes. "Will you marry me?" I ask her, and now everyone is quiet and looks at us. She wiped her tears and smiled at me. Yes, yes, I'll marry you." She said that, and I stood up and hugged her tightly. "I love you." She said so, and I put the ring on her finger. Then I kissed her. Everyone here claps their hands, and I just smile at Thea. I can't believe she's now my fiancee. Thea Tonight is the most memorable night for me. I can't believe Joseph just proposed to me at his hotel's opening. I am so happy to know that now I'm his and he's mine. I keep looking at the beautiful ring on my finger. "Bestie! Here you are. I search for you like crazy inside. Why are you out here?" I look at Alexa and hug her. "Thea, are you okay?" She asked me. "I'm okay. I'm just so happy tonight. Suddenly I thought about my parents." I said, and tears started to come out. Alexa rubbed my back to calm me down. Shhh, Thea, I know you're a strong girl. I bet your parents want you to be happy if they are here now. They want you to smile and live your life. I know you're a strong woman." She said it to me, and I nodded my head. "Now let's get inside. I think your fiancee will find you crazy and think that you should run away from him. Let's go." I chuckled when she said that, and we walked inside the building together. "Dear, where are you going? I thought you had gone home without me." Joseph comes to me as soon as I enter the hall with Alexa. "I told you." Alexa said to me "By the way, I'm going to leave you two now and find my husband and children. Congratulations again." She said before that she would walk away to find her husband. Dear, are you crying? Why?" He asked me, caressing my cheeks. "Nothing. I just hope that my parents will be here with me and see that I'm happy now." I said, and he hugged me. "They're with you now. You bring them everywhere with you." What do you mean?" I ask you to break the hug. "Your necklace. I know in that locket are your parents pictures. So that's mean; they're here with you." I smiled at him. I'm so happy that he's going to be with me forever. "I love you, Thea. I love you so much. There's nothing that can compare to my love for you. Its infinity." "Thank you for loving me, and also thank you for the surprise." I'm not going to forget about it, and I love you too."
