Chapter 114 Throw away
At Lucy's words, Laura froze.
"I'd like you to help me if I could. But Snowball keeps clinging to me."
Lucy blinked.
Ever since they met, Snowball had followed Laura around without stepping away.
After thinking about it, Lucy was lost and envious, "Okay. Let's both take it for a walk together then."
Laura saw her emotions and couldn't help but lose her smile, "Don't worry; when you two develop a bond, Snowball will stick to you, too."
"Really?" Lucy's eyes lit up, and she couldn't help but give out a small cheer. "Great!"
The two of them were walking and talking, and the moonlight was slightly dimmed under the shadow of the trees.
As a result, no one noticed that the little pig following them all along had quietly left the range at some point.
......
Under the moonlight, ripples rose on the surface of the lake.
"Eh? A little fragrant pig? Why would a pet pig pop up in the school."
Lily, who was walking by the lake, suddenly bent down and poked the little fragrant pig that was drinking water with its head down.
"Lily, don't touch, dirty!" Fiona sprinted forward and not-so-gently slapped Lily's hand away from touching the piglet.
She said in disgust, "This is Laura's pet. I can't believe she keeps something so ugly as a pet!"
Lily sniffed and immediately withdrew her hand.
She covered her mouth with a few hints of surprise in her eyes, "My sister kept it?"
"But didn't the school have a rule that people aren't allowed to keep pets on school grounds?" Lily tangled her lip and looked at Fiona, "If the school finds this out, my sister will be punished! How about we pick it up and throw it away?"
Fiona watched as Lily was about to hug the piglet after she finished speaking. Her heartbeat suddenly missed a beat, and without thinking, she tightly pressed Lily's hand, "Don't!"
"Huh?" Lily looked at her quizzically.
Fiona clenched the corner of her coat and hesitated, "It's a pet,, after all. If we just throw it around, it'll starve to death, right? That's too cruel."
"But there's a school rule against keeping pets!" Lily aggravated.
Fiona still hesitated, "It's a life after all ......"
Lily, however, said no more. She pushed Fiona's hand away, walked quickly to the lake, and threw the piglet into the lake.
-- " Puff."
Fiona stared at Lily with a few moments of horror, as if she were looking at some stranger. "Lily, how can you?"
Lily clapped her hands as she wrapped her arms around Fiona and smiled easily, "It's just a pig. It's nothing. Let's go."
With that, Lily turned around.
She was suddenly caught off guard by the additional figure in front of her, and before she could react, "Aaaaaaaaahhhh-" a mournful squeal pierced the silence of the night.
"Lily!"Fiona was startled; she looked at Lily, who kept flailing and struggling in the water, "Are you okay? Can you come up here? You ......"
Speaking at the end, she turned back and glared fiercely at Laura beside her, "You wicked woman. You're the one who pushed Lily down!"
"Yes, I'm the one who pushed her."
