Chapter 34

The basketball game between the sophomores and juniors finally started. Keith is the team leader of their section. When the coach announced it last time, no one opposed his decision. It is because everyone knew that Keith is a good basketball player. Most importantly, Keith is good at shooting on the three-point area. As his friend, supporter, and secret sister, Rhianne faithfully cheers for her Mr. Protagonist. Every time Keith shoots the ball on the ring, Rhianne will shout his name and cheer for him energetically. Keith always acted as if her cheering acts were nothing. But he cannot hide the fact that his neck and ears were all red. It is now the last quarter. The players were given a five minutes break. Rhianne diligently gives the players their towels and water bottles. She is sitting next to Keith as he roughly wipes his hair with a towel. But Keith was really sweating too much since he was the one who was busy making points for their team. "That is not the right way to wipe your sweat, Mr. Protagonist." Rhianne said. "Huh?" 'Is there a right procedure on how you wipe the sweat on your body?' "Well... You do it." Keith said as he gives his towel to Rhianne. "Not that. It is already soaking with your sweat. Wait for me." Rhianne pulls out another fresh towel from her backpack. She already anticipated this will happen today. Rhianne noticed that every time her Mr. Protagonist makes some physical activities such as playing basketball, he was always sweating too much. That is why she prepared five towels for her Mr. Protagonist alone. Rhianne gestured for Keith to faced her as she puts the towel around his neck. Then she gently wipes the sweat from his forehead, eyebrows, and neck and arms. Then Rhianne asked Keith to turn around so she can also wipe his back. Though hesitating, Keith still follows her and lifts the jersey he was wearing. After making sure that she already wiped all his sweat, Rhianne gets the body powder she prepared earlier from her bag and apply a good amount of it on his back. Keith flinches every time her fingers glide across his back, but he did not say anything to stop Rhianne from what she was doing. Rhianne, on the other hand, just thought Keith is very ticklish. "...Is this the same powder you are using every day?" Keith asked. "Yes! It smells good, right? I really love the sweet smell of jasmine on it!" Rhianne excitedly said. Rhianne bought this body powder last month with her mother and she quickly fell in love with its smell. After that, Rhianne also bought perfume, shampoo, and soap with the same jasmine scent. This is the scent Keith always smell whenever he was with Rhianne. For Keith, the sweet and calming scent of it really suited her. "It's good." "That is right!" Rhianne is happy that even her Mr. Protagonist is approving her choice of smell. Sure enough, this male lead also has a good taste. Rhianne gently applies the powder on his back. This way, Keith will feel refresh before the game starts again. After applying the body powder on Keith's back and neck, Rhianne gets a bottle of energy drink from her bag and opens it. Then she handed it to Keith. He looks at the bottle of energy drink first before staring at Rhianne as if asking her what is happening. Calvin put his arms around Francis's shoulder to stop him from ambushing his little brother. When they entered the auditorium earlier, they saw the scene where Rhianne was wiping the sweat on Keith's forehead. Then after that, Rhianne grabbed a bottle of body powder from her bag and applied it on his back. If they are strangers to those kids, Calvin and Francis will surely think that they are in a relationship. But unfortunately or not, Rhianne is really dense while Keith is too shy and coward to admit his true feelings. Hence, what they are thinking right now will never happen. Yet. "Ah! Young love. How I wish I also had a girl who was very attentive to me when I was still a student." Calvin said he stares at the two figures sitting on the bleachers. "I really envy Tristan right now." "Can you stop speaking like an old man reminiscing with your past? It's disgusting." Francis cringed. "And remove your arms around me!" "You are really no fun."  responded Calvin as he removes his arms from Francis's shoulders. It seems like Tristan will be safe from Francis for now. "What's with that brat? I thought those two are fighting?" "Oh. You are too late with the news. Rhianne and Tristan already reconciled. Thanks to me, their misunderstanding was finally resolved." "Tch. It would be better if that brat will stay away from my sister." Francis groused as he crossed his arms on his chest. "Stop being so harsh with my brother. Tristan is still young. He can still change his negative traits after a few years." "Yeah? Then good for him. But I still do not want her for my sister." "Why are you so against Tristan? He is not that bad, you know?" "I just hate him." Francis said. But the truth is, Francis does not like Keith because he keeps on sticking to his little sister like a piece of sticky gum. And speaking of his little sister, Rhianne is always treating him so well. She always reminds Keith to eat nutritious foods, have plenty of sleep, and scolds that brat whenever he was berating himself. The worst part of it, Francis had never experienced that kind of treatment from his little sister! What kind of discrimination is this?! The only good treatment he received from Rhianne is when she was praising the heavens for giving him as her older brother and not Calvin. That's all. Francis is Rhianne's older brother. They are blood-related. There is a saying that 'Blood is thicker than water.' so Rhianne should treat him better than Keith! "Hey. Stop pouting. And it is not right for you to be jealous of a little kid." joshed Calvin as he laughs at his friend. "Me? Jealous of that brat? Ha! Dream on!" Francis said before standing up leaving his friend behind. "Hey! Where are you going? Buddy, please don't leave me!" "I am going to a place where there is no crazy and abnormal doctor like you!" Francis snarls at him which Calvin replies with a laugh. When Calvin cannot see Francis anymore, he stares at the two teenagers who are still busy in their own little world. But knowing them, he is pretty sure that they did not notice the kind of atmosphere they were making inside the audition, especially Rhianne. Calvin snickers on that thought. Francis cannot see the real situation between Rhianne and Tristan. Rhianne is not giving Tristan any special treatment. Calvin was very sure that Rhianne is acting as a caring and doting big sister to Tristan, which is laughable for Calvin since Rhianne's age is definitely younger than his little brother. The worst part of it, Tristan is enjoying the situation without knowing that it will seriously bring a huge problem for him in the future. But is he going to point it out to Tristan? Of course not. It is better for him to fix this problem on his own in the future. After all, he enjoyed this treatment anyways. When they all hear the buzzer, Calvin saw Tristan standing up from the bleachers. He was standing up in front of Rhianne who seems like saying something to him. Then all a sudden, Calvin saw his little brother laughed before he flicked Rhianne's forehead. Afterward, he ran in the center court and joined his teammates. 'Tristan, you still have a long way to go before you can capture the heart of your princess.'
