Chapter 15
Rebecca Wilson's P.O.V
"Thorm..." I don't know why that word just popped out of my mouth.
My whole body stiffened when I suddenly felt his hand holding mine, I slowly opened my eyes and saw him holding my wounded hand.
I was surprised to see that there was no sign of injury on my hand. He just stared at my hand and didn't speak.
After a while, he broke the deafening silence. "This is impossible..." He said.
"What!? Why did you stop?" Florine asked and immediately approached where we were.
"Her wound, suddenly disappeared? If she's a pure human why did her wound heal on its own?" Thorm promised and everyone's expressions gradually changed.
Immediately Mr. Cardo in my behavior to confirm what Thorm was saying.
The surprise was evident in their eyes.
"This is impossible, people cannot heal their wounds quickly. Where in the world did you come from?" Mr. Cardo asked.
"I don't know... I just felt a strange warmth from my body and I didn't realize the healing of my wound," I replied.
"She's the one Seline said would save my life, can't we give him a little more time to prove himself?" Thorm said.
After everyone was quiet, Ms. Milan and Mr. Cardo on the sofa and sat down.
'This is ridiculous! She doesn't have werewolf blood so he should be killed because she will only be a big hindrance." I turned my attention to Florine when she suddenly spoke. Why is this woman so angry with me? I didn't do anything bad to her.
"How can you be sure that I don't have a werewolf lineage?" I raised my eyebrows to answer her. Everyone remained silent as they focused all their attention on us.
'Enough! The situation is very confusing now, Rebeca, we don't know what the real answer is if you have werewolf blood or not. We will give you two months to prove to us that you can indeed save Thorm from the curse. If you don't prove it to all of us, you know where you stand." Mr. Cardo stood up and signaled to everyone that they were leaving.
"You really disappoint me Thorm, even you Tyron." He promised and immediately left. I felt like a thorn was pulled out the moment they all left. What did I get myself into? They seem merciless like I sold my soul to a demon. Because of what happened, my knee gradually weakened and I quickly sat on the floor. I felt Thorm approach me.
"Let me help you..." He extended his hand, but I paid no attention to it, I forced myself to stand up.
"I don't need your help, I can handle myself," I said and walked to my room.
After closing my door, I couldn't stop the tears that wanted to come out. I ran towards my bed and threw myself down, I immediately took my pillow and put it in my mouth, I screamed because almost all the suffering was given to me. I'm not a bad person, I gave everything to my family but I'm here today in a house where I don't know what will happen to me tomorrow. My tears continued to flow.
I didn't realize that my eyes closed on their own and I was gradually overtaken by sleepiness.

"Rebecca, wake up!" I slowly opened my eyes when I heard the familiar voice. I immediately got up and opened the door.
"Mom..." I said in shock and immediately hugged her tightly. "I didn't know you were coming. And why do you know where I live? Did you talk to Thorm about it?" I briefly looked down to see if Thorm was there but they weren't there and the whole house was very quiet.
'Maybe they just went to someone,' I said in my mind.
"You have a lot of questions, let's go ahead and sit down." She grabbed my hand and led me into my room. "Maybe you are very lucky with your husband?" She sat on the sofa near the window. I forced a smile and immediately sat next to him.
"I know those smiles..." she added and gently took my hand, she fixed a few pieces of my hair and then smiled widely.
"Mom... Please take me back, I missed you so much." Little by little my tears fell and I hugged her. "I can't do it anymore," I added.
"I miss you too darling if I have only one request I will ask you to come back to us."
I didn't answer and all I could do was cry.
"Just always remember this, my dear, there's a purpose to all the problems that are given to us. It's not hard to live, it only gets harder when we affect the problem we're burdened with and we don't want to work on a solution."

I woke up on my own, I saw my pillow wet with tears. I slowly got up and looked around.
"It's just a dream..." I said sadly. I looked out the window and it was still dark around me. I woke up early. I slowly looked at the picture frame that was on the side of my bed, there was nothing and suddenly what mom said in my dream registered in my brain.
"Just always remember this, my dear, there's a purpose to all the problems that are given to us. Life is not difficult, it only becomes difficult when we affect the problem we are burdened with and we don't want to make a solution."
I thought for a moment.
'If this is my destiny... All I can do is prove myself and do what I have to do as soon as possible.' I said in my mind.
I immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower and immediately got dressed, I slowly went down to leave. I need to know the truth about who I am.
When I got down, no one was awake yet so I immediately left the house, in the middle of my walk I noticed that someone was watching me. I immediately looked behind me and from the window, I saw Tyron looking at me, I turned to look at him and he immediately looked away.
I thought he was going to stop me from leaving but he didn't seem to care where I was going. I continued walking and only trees surrounded me, no houses and no street lights. It's good that the sun is gradually shining so that at least a little bit of light is being given to me. I'm good at memorization that's why I remember the roads to the city.
I walked for a few hours but I wasn't tired because the view was so beautiful, the sun was shining so the surroundings were bright. A few more minutes and I reached a highway. I know that I will need a ride around here because I know that our house is still far away.
I have no choice but to walk because even though I have money with me today, there are only a few vehicles passing by. After a while, I continued walking, but suddenly a car stopped in front of me.
"Rebecca?" A familiar voice. I immediately turned around and was surprised to see Mark. My cousin.
