Chapter 4

When I woke up at home I immediately took a shower and got dressed. Today is the day I said I would meet a man to reconcile. I can't stand Feona to suffer for us, I'd rather suffer than them. I have made up my mind to risk my life just to pay off our debt. All night I thought about this decision of mine. I don't know what the outcome of what I will do will be. Water kept flowing through my body, at the same time my tears were falling. Iit was as if I had sold my body to a stranger. I have many dreams, one of which is to be with my family for a long time. I know it hurts me to leave them mom t Feona here but we can't do anything. My life seemed like a movie. A few more seconds I ended up in the bath as well. I was busy changing when mom suddenly came into my room. "Where are you going?" She asked in surprise. 'I've already found a way to pay off our debt," I replied. She sat on my bed and watched me. "I'll just borrow from my friends, just don't lose me Rebeca," she said later. I could see in her look that it was just holding back tears. I immediately approached her and held her hands. "Mom, don't cry anymore .I'll take care of it," I promised. "What's that job Rebeca? I'll just do it so you won't be in trouble." "It's okay mom, I know you've sacrificed a lot for us. Now, let me take care of our problem." "You are a very good child Rebeca, you always take care of our welfare. Think of yourself as well Rebeca." "Yes mom, I will," I replied. "I'll go first mom, I'm going somewhere else," I added. She nodded and I left the house immediately. A few minutes later I reached a café where we would meet the man. I went inside and immediately rolled my eyes to look for the man I had talked to yesterday. Some time later I saw it sitting at the round table and looked like it was waiting for me. I slowly approached where he was. "Ow, you're here. Have a sit," he formally promised. I sat down in front of him. "Do you want something—" "No, I'm okay. I'm here to discuss the deal," I interrupted what he was going to say. "We owe 5 million, can you pay that?" I didn't take any more time and went straight to the main topic. It stared at me for a moment. "Why? Is someone chasing you or something?" he asked in surprise. "I need the money next day, I'll accept your offer," I don't know why I was so desperate to pay our debt, maybe I was afraid that Feona would be given by dad if I didn't pay our debt tomorrow. "Okay deal," he replied and held out his hand to me. I glanced at his hand for a moment before reaching for it. We shook hands. "This is my address, go home tomorrow. All day I thought about what I did this morning. All i know now is that I can be sure that tomorrow we will be able to pay our debts but in return I will be myself. How is my future? I don't know what life awaits me with that mysterious man. I am ready to do everything just for my family. In a few seconds, I gradually fell asleep... "Dad, please! Dad no!" I immediately woke up from my bed when I heard Feona's scream. I immediately went downstairs and found the men dragging Feona while Mang Marcilo and dad were talking. What the f*ck is doing here? "Feona! Release him! Let her go!" I shouted and immediately went their way, they still wouldn't let go of Feona's arm so I could do nothing but punch the men with Mang Marcilo. "Enough Beca! Let go of your sister!" dad shouted but I didn't stop. "Please dad don't do this to Feona," I begged. "Fernando! What are you doing to our daughter?" mommy shouted from above. "The drama is over, let's go," Mang Marcilo said and they quickly took Feona out of the house. I didn't budge because I was still trying to stop the men. We were in the middle of an argument when a car quickly parked in front of our gate. Eventually, three men came down, and I had met one earlier. He's the man I talked to last night. Yes he is. Revived by hope, I immediately approached him and could not stop myself from embracing him. We were also in that position for a few seconds when I let go of his embrace. 'Thank you for coming," I promised. I stared at him for a moment. Now I just stared at him closely. His nose was pointed and his arms were muscular, he was tall and mystical skin, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, and pink lips. "Who are they?" Mang Marcilo asked. "I'm Thorm Xenon, I'm here to pay your debt," he replied. So his name is Thorm Xenon. Mang Marcilo laughed for a moment. "Will you pay this family's debt?" Mang Marcilo said while laughing. We were about to step out when mom suddenly grabbed Thorm's hand. "I'm leaving Beca with you. Don't leave her huh?" mom's serious promise. "You can count on it," Throm replied and we walked again. I was reassured that I was in good shape because I knew Thorm had a good heart. What I can't be sure of now is if his family treats me like this?
