Chapter 6
Jayce off the engine of his bike and follow the woman that he thinks he knew. He walked silently.
I know it's her, I can't be wrong.
As Jayce grew up in a small town, he did nothing but study. He never experienced playing outside or interacting with other kids. His childhood was so worse, because of the influence of his family.
The only thing his father wants is that his friend will be connected to the company. He always questions the things I like even before. The worst parenting ever, when I was in my junior days all things changed when I met a girl accidentally.
Actually, that girl changed me a lot, he helped me to experience once in my life, being free from my dad's lectures.
In his continuing following the woman, he reached the market. A shortcut route to come here. At that moment, he lost sight of the woman and tried to find her in the crowd. That's why he scrambled just to catch up.
Jayce was so angry when she disappeared from his sight, that's why he did nothing but buy a flower to give to his future fiancée.
"I'll see you too." Jayce has full of perseverance to find her.
In that matter, the time he decided to return his bike, on his way he saw a flower shop in the middle of the streets. There are almost no buyers here that's why he just decided to buy so he won't have a hard time finding it.
As he knocked on the door, it seems there were no people or staff that he could see outside. He grabbed the doorknob and opened it.
"Hello?!" He carefully closed the door again.
Many kinds of flowers appeared to him. Some of them are tulips, roses, sunflowers, and more. Some of them are in the vase, in the pot and some are arranged and organized in a bouquet style.
While looking for the owner of the shop, Jayce started to find a perfect flower that he will give to Aubrey. He observed the flower, and each one of them has a meaning that is indicated in a card attached to it.
'Every sunshine's gazed. I saw hope when I looked at you." Jayce read silently and was also released.
He continued to walk in every corner of the shop, and he stopped when he saw something. A big clock and he was amazed at the condition of a one-hundred-year-old thing. Jayce is also interested in the beauty of clocks especially the one he wore.
The clock of a special woman.
'Wow." He looked at the clock, every corner and detail of it.
"Are you looking for something sir?" The lady asked him.
"Huh!" Jayce was shocked when someone talked to his back. It immediately turned to him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't notice you right away."
"No, it's okay. It seems you have a good eye, sir." The owner of the shop praises him.
"Ahhh!" Jayce smirked.
'You seem to know a lot when it comes to clocks."
"No, I haven't. I was just surprised by its condition. This clock was built in the 18th hundreds, right?"
"Yes sir, it came from my ancestors. And this clock is very special to us. It gives luck and safety. That's why we preserve it for each generation that bequeaths it to us."
Jayce was amazed by the story as he moved along.
"And sir, I've been noticing you for a while now, you seem to be having a hard time choosing a flower, can I help you choose?" The owner asked him nicely.
Jayce smiled and then he asked to help look for it.
"That's great, I won't deny that."
"Who are you going to give it to? Wife, girlfriend, or mother?" The owner looked at him.
Jayce stopped and hesitated as to what to say to him. Still, he was not fully convinced of this marriage. As he looked at his watch and looked at the time.
It's almost an hour, maybe my family will go to Hanson Villa before me.
"Sir? Are you all right? Who is the special girl that you give a flower to?" The owner asked him full of concern.
"Ahh, sorry my bad. To my fiancée, the flower is for her, and I don't know what type she wants and I'm bad at choosing something to give her." Jayce scratched his head and laughed.
"Oh, I see, that is difficult. Do you have any pictures of your fiancée?"
"Wait, I think I brought the photograph." Jayce gets the photograph in his jacket. He put his hands in every pocket of his cloth, as he grabbed it. He gave the picture and the owner immediately looked at it.
The shop owner tried to figure out what kind of flower could be given to him.
"What do you think he will like?"
The shop owner was silent and continued to observe the picture.
"I have been selling flowers for a long time and I have seen many, people looking for something that can be given or offered to them. The flower is a simple way to express gratitude, love, and sometimes cursed."
"Huh?"
The owner smiled at me.
"I think I knew the preference of Miss?"
"Aubrey Hanson."
He walked into the corner and found the begonia. Jayce, follow him and never wonder why or the meaning of the flower.
He arranged the flower, and he was a skilled person. The style of making a bouquet, and after a few minutes he finished.
"I hope, she will appreciate the flower."
"I hope so. Thank you so much, mister?"
'Henry, you can call me Henry. If you need anything or trying to figure out what is the best gift, just come back and my service is always open to people like you." The owner said nicely.
Jayce smiled and immediately paid for the flower he bought. He leaves the shop and returns to where his motorcycle is parked.
"I wish the person who receives the flower has a deep understanding and is not reckless in the action." The owner closed the curtain of the shop and came back with his personal things to do.
Jayce looked at the flower with a blank mind and continued to drive in the Hanson Villa.
