HOME COMING
Isabella's deadline was fast approaching and Bianca, knowing her well enough, knows she'll keep her word and kill Marco.
What could she do now?
She thought to herself, but nothing came to mind. She knew she had to take herself to Isabella if Marco had to walk free.
'I will go to Isabella tomorrow," she said, finally breaking the loud silence that had been in the penthouse ever since she asked about Carlo Salvatore. 'I don't have any other choice. Isabella wants me, so I might just go to her."
'No, that is not going to happen!" Luca said, in an almost roaring voice, as he stood up from the sofa where he sat. He didn't realize the bottle of champagne he was drinking was still in his hands.
'What other choice do we have?" Bianca asked genuinely.
Luca's grip tightened on the bottle of champagne as he realized he held the bottle in his hand. 'I don't know… yet. We have to figure something out. Going to the cagna is too dangerous." He placed the champagne bottle down on the table, 'She is a psycho."
Bianca approached Luca, her gaze fixed on him unwaveringly. 'Isabella won't harm me. I have reasons to believe that. It's not like I have actually done anything to warrant that."
Luca was distressed. He couldn't just consent to her going into the lion's den that easily. Isabella in truth is a psycho and does not need any reason to harm someone.
'Think about this, this is the best choice we have if not the only choice. It is the best shot we have if we want to take down Isabella."
Luca stayed quiet for what seemed like an eternity. He was probably assessing other options in his head. But it wasn't the first time he had done that, and as usual, no other plan came to his mind. He felt genuinely scared for Bianca. This wasn't just about their agreement or contract. He was concerned about her wellbeing. He has almost gotten fond of her, and the thought of somebody bad happening to her always sent chills down his spine.
'Alright," he finally broke the silence. I will reach out to her and tell her you're coming to her. We will give her a place to meet us."
Bianca extended her hands and held Luca's hands. 'I will be fine," she said. 'You don't have to worry about me, okay?"
Luca nodded his head. He was suddenly soft, for Bianca, maybe.
'I will make sure to find out who sold us out, and I promise to kill whoever it is in the most excruciating way possible," Luca swore and freed himself from Bianca's hold and moved into the bedroom.
*********
It was Bianca who called Isabella instead of Luca as he had said. He couldn't bring himself to do it.
'Hello?" Came the voice from the other end of the line. It was not Isabella, in fact, it was a masculine voice.
'Hello, I want to speak to Isabella, is she close?" Bianca asked, minding her voice.
'Who wishes to speak to her?" The voice from the other end asked.
'Tell her it's Bianca."
Right away, Isabella was on the phone. 'La mia sorellina, are you ready to return home?" Bianca waited for a moment, she hated that Isabella was doing this.
'Yes," she answered in a very chill voice.
Isabella could not conceal the excitement in her voice. 'Alright, I will be waiting for you here."
'I need you to come and pick me up from the Fezalaro Club. I will be there with my fiancée." Bianca said.
Isabella responded in a shrill voice, 'If I will come to pick you up from there, you have to be alone." She tried to make Bianca understand she was serious, but Bianca was unmoved. She maintained her ground. 'I don't go anywhere without him." So we will be there waiting…"
'I don't care…!" Isabella cut her off before she could finish what she was saying. 'You're starting a new life here, a real life. Your routines from your past life don't have to matter. You have to abandon all that."
The silence between them over the phone was loud. They could hear each other breathing from opposite ends.
'We will be there at 5 pm, please be early. You know I hate waiting," Bianca said, finally breaking the silence. Before Isabella could respond, Bianca ended the call.
She knew Isabella would be furious, but so what? After all, she had her time to boil after being abandoned by Isabella.
At exactly 4:50 pm, Luca's car pulled up into the Fezalaro Club, and they could see that Isabella's men were already mounted outside and every other place within the clubhouse. Luca parked the vehicle and turned to Bianca. 'She's already here," he said,
'Yes, I can see that. There's no need to go into the club." Bianca responded and opened the door of the car. But before she stepped down, Luca called her attention again. 'Stay safe, please," he said in a soft voice. It was also it's like a plea and his expressions did the little to hide how deeply worried he was.
'I will be safe, you too stay safe. Don't get into trouble."
She came down from the vehicle and went to one of the men suited up in black guarding the entrance of the club and said, 'Go in there, and tell your boss that I'm here."
'She knows," he responded in a cold voice.
'Good, she should come out, I need to leave here immediately."
Isabella came out of The Fezalaro Club. She stood at the entrance and scanned the environment. She saw Bianca standing In her elegance, her black jumpsuit fitted her perfectly and did little to cover her curves.
She approached her, her men following her at a safe distance. Her countenance is as bright as the morning sun. 'La mia sorellina, I'm happy to have you back," she said as she pulled Bianca into a tight embrace. Her body's warmth formed a burn between them. She smelled of rich allure and expensive perfume. Bianca stood still, she did not hug her back but did not pull away from the hug.
Isabella pulled herself out of the embrace and held Bianca's hand. 'Let's get going, La mia sorellina," she said as they both started walking towards Isabella's car.
Luca watched as they both entered into a black SUV and drove off. He was distressed again but had to hold himself together. He should've come out of his car and spoken to Isabella, he kept thinking to himself.
He was deep in thought but when he saw Lita Romano, Vittorio Morreti's estranged lover, who owned The Fezalaro Club, he clicked back to reality.
'I could get some answers from her," he thought and highlighted the vehicle.
