Chapter89
I took my phone out. I wanted to call Heather. I was about to do so when I felt something against the back of my head. My eyes widened.
"Don't move," a deep voice said.
OH MY GAWD!
A gun was pointed at the back of my head. I slowly raised both hands, fear taking over me. Someone then appeared in front of me, all dressed in black and with a mask. They were two. One was behind me with the gun.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" the man laughed, "Christina Welds, huh?"
Oh my god. They know my name!
"P– please, what do you want?!"
"The million!" he retorted angrily.
Who were they? How did they know?
"P– please! Take the money. Spare my life!"
He started laughing. The other joined him too.
"Your life?? Oh, Christina prefers to give the money! This is a first! Get the bag," he told the second and pointed the gun at my forehead.
I watched the second guy get the bag of money at the back of the car.
"I would love to kill you, Christina. But I have better punishment awaiting you. You don't know the storm's that coming."
Who was he?
"W– who are you??" I asked, afraid. He laughed.
"Your worst nightmare. Your past."
"Who are you?"
He looked at me in the eyes and to my shock I watched him take off his mask. He smiled at me.
"W– who are you???"
"I'm Sheridan. Remember me, aunty Christy? You'll be seeing me often."
Before could process what I'd just heart, with his gun, he hit me so hard on the head that I lost consciousness. The next thing I felt was the cold floor.

Ace's POV:
I waited patiently for the boys to return. After an hour, they came into my apartment. I stood up happily.
"How did it go??" I asked.
"Fine. Here's the million," Keith threw the bag at me, "Everything's awesome! Max is the best actor I've ever seen!"
They both laughed and threw their masks and guns aside.
"Really??"
"Yeah! Should've seen the shock on her face when I took off the mask and told her I was Sheridan! The witch!" Max laughed and landed on the couch.
"Yes! You're both the best guys I've ever known!" I laughed, and we gave each other fist bumps.
The plan had been a success.
Max was the second best buddy I'd ever had and I saw it right to tell him about my past and little secret because I thought he would be of great help, which turned out to be true. He'd also slept with Christina in my place.
When I'd told him my story, he was as shocked as Keith when I'd first told him too. And he'd sworn to help me get my company back by taking the risk of letting Christina identify him as me, Sheridan. That would leave her traumatised for days.
Max was perfect for the job. He had brown hair like me when I was younger, just that my hair color deepened as I grew up. But my enemies didn't know that because they thought I was dead, and plus, max had brown eyes like me. Anyone who didn't know me as Sheridan could easily believe at first sight that he was Sheridan.

Keith could've been Sheridan but he was blonde. And plus, Christina and Sawyer knew him as my friend when we'd met them at bay beach.
"We did good to hack her car."
"Yeah. But after knocking her unconscious, we repaired it."
"That's great! This calls for celebration. I got good wine!" I told them happily and we all laughed.
Ace's POV:
That night we went dead drunk. Music loud and bowls full of pop corn and chips.

I was gonna have an awesome night because I knew Christina wouldn't be sleeping.

Christina's POV:
I opened my eyes. My head hurt so bad. I was still on that cold floor where the robbers had knocked me out.
Robbers? No! Sheridan!
Sheridan Wesley was one of them!
I stood up in fear and total panic.
"N– no," I whispered to myself, "This can't be. Please, this can't be!" I looked at my hands, they were trembling. I got scared for my life and looked around like a mad woman. Sheridan. Sheridan was alive! Elijah was right.
"Oh no. No!"
My downfall was fast approaching. I couldn't let it happen. No way. Sheridan was alive? How had he found me? What was he talking about? Why had he spared my life? What bigger punishment had he in store for me? I felt dizzy and my knees trembled uncontrollably.
I leaned on the car for support, my heart was threatening to explode.
I got into the car and tried my luck to start it. It did start. Thank goodness.
With shaky hands, I grabbed the stirring. I wasn't in the right condition to drive but I didn't care. I needed to get out of there. I started the car and drove away .
"He's alive," I muttered in fear, "He's back. To revenge."
Only some divine miracle could help me now.

Ace's POV:
We laughed and discussed throughout the night. We were drunk but it was fun.
"Hey Ace, how's it going with Heather? I'm sure y'all can't keep your hands off each other," Keith laughed, drinking more of his wine.
"You know it's a fact. She's amazing. The best I've ever had."
"Hm, this is serious," Max added with a laugh, "Seems like she's turned your mind away from other girls."
"Completely! She has everything. I'm crazy for the girl."
"Wow. She seems to be a good girl."
I laughed
"Yeah, a good girl in public."
Both guys looked at me with huge grins across their faces.
"Hmm. What do you mean, Ace?"
"That she's owned me for life, in every possible way. Both emotionally and sexually."
"OOOHH!" they both yelled with wide eyes.
