Chapter 18- He likes me too.

ISABELLA'S POV "Oh hey can I talk to you?" Lucas said when we reached home. "U-uh," I said and suddenly my phone started ringing. "Wait for a second," I said and he smiles. "Hello?" I said when I pick up the phone. "I don't think we can go to your place. Something urgent came and we need to go back. Just see you tomorrow." She said and hung up. "So what's up?" I said to Lucas. "I'm." He said and seems nervous. "Go on," I said. "Let's have dinner." He said and left. "What was that?" I said to myself and walk to my room. "Kendrick," I said when I notice him. "Yes?" He said. "Uh, nothing," I said. Lucas let him stay and I don't know what they talk about earlier. But Lucas seems to be pissed off. "Kendrick do you want to come?" I said but Lucas speaks. "I want to talk to you in private." He said while having a blank face. "Alright, should we go?" I said and he looks at me. "You're wearing that?" He said and I look at my outfit. I'm wearing a short skirt and long sleeves. "You're wearing too short." He said. "Bro doesn't choose for her, she has her own life." Kendrick interrupts. "Shut up! Do you want her to be harassed? Aish!" He said angrily so I followed him and locked him in my room. I changed my clothes. I put on pants and a crop top hoodie. Lucas Is right, I also don't want to whistle by a man at the side of the road or anywhere. "Will be back.Sorry!" I said and he just nodded. I walk out through the door and Lucas was there waiting for me. He got out of the car for him to open the car for me. "That's nice of you," I said and he smiles. "Where do you want to eat." He said. "You know where," I said and he laughed. "You're so big but you like that meal." He said "What's wrong with that? That's food for everyone to eat. " I said and crossed my arms. how dare he. He giggled and said. "You look awesome today." "So yesterday, I look awful?" I said. "No that's not what I mean." He said. "Alright, I know just drive the car," I said and he nodded. As we were on our way I was watching in the window car how the sunset falls. "It's beautiful," I said while amazing the sunset. "Yeah, it is," Lucas said too and I look at him and he was staring at me. "Do I have something on my face?" I said and he smiles "Yeah, beauty." He said I felt butterflies in my stomach that made me flinch and nervous. "Uh let's go, I think we have arrived," I said and he nodded. He gets out of the car first and then guides me. When we got there to my favorite place to eat. I thank Lucas for bringing me here. "So why all of the sudden you ask me on a dinner date, I guess. You've been ignoring me for 1 day I guess and you take me out why? Is there something bothering you? " I said and suddenly he leaned for a kiss. "Hey, you stole two kisses from my lips," I said and he laugh. "You're so talkative." He said and left to order some food. "Aish what's wrong with him," I said and felt electricity and butterflies in my stomach. I waited for him and some kid come to me. "My brother wants to know you miss." The kid said and pointed to his brother. His brother waved at me and winked. "Sorry kid but this girl is already mine," Lucas said holding the food that he ordered. "Ah too bad, Sorry miss." The kid said and run to his brother with a pouted mouth and a disappointing face. His brother looked at us and bowed his head to Lucas. "Why did you do that?" I ask him but he ignores me and eats his food. So I eat mine too. "Are you done?" He said and I nodded. "So where are we going right now?" I said and he opens the door for me we are both in the underground parking. "Is this a friendly date," I said to him while he was driving. "Kind of, you'll see." He said and I just shrug my shoulder and lean on my seat. "Lucas?" I called to him. "Wake me up if we've arrived," I said and he replied with a hmm. I close my eyes and fall asleep. "Hey, we're here." Lucas tapped me on my shoulders. "How long did I sleep?" I said he giggled and said. "2 hours." Wait for that long. "Where are we?" I said and pointed outside. "Woahh." I saw trees, and I could say that it was designed like a treehouse. I opened the door of the car and run towards the trees. It's magical. Lights are around the tree. Above the tree have a blanket good for two people and the wind is just right. "It's so nice to be here," I said and amazed by the view. "Did you like it?" He said and I nodded. "Let's go to the top," I said and he smiles. He let me on the ladder first and he's on my back. "Woahhh," I said when I took a wrong step and almost fell but Lucas catches me, we stare for a while and I could see his eyes. I felt my heart thumping so loud that he could hear his name. "u-uh thank you." "No need to worry, be careful," He said and I tries to climb up again. "It's so nice here, why did you bring me here?" I said. "It's because uh." He said and bring his face down "What?" I said and convince him to tell me. "Oh btw, what time is it now?" I said and I held his hand and look at his watch, I saw the time it was passed 8:00 pm. "Your hand is cold, are you alright?" I said. "Yes, I am." He said. "So?" I said waiting for him to answer me. When I receive a smacking kiss on him. "What's that for?" I said trying to hide my blushing face. "I like you." He said and I went in shock. "What did you just say?" I said trying to make him say again what he had just said. "Okay, I rejected you because I was scared. I was scared for your safety. I'm scared that if you've found out my real identity was. But I found out that you're a princess of the wolves dynasty. So would you forgive me?" He explains. "So what's your real identity?" I said "I'm just like you. Been living in the people's world unlike you, I know that I'm a wolf. " He said and I saw his eyes, there are tears from his eyes. "Why?" I said as his tears keep falling the rain starts to pour on us. We hide in the corner where there was no rain. As we're stuck up the tree he makes a move and takes his jacket off. He's wearing pants with a T-shirt and a jacket. He lend me his jacket but I didn't take it so he put it on me wrap it on my shoulders. "You'll get sick." He said and wipe his tears away. "You can do it. " I said and he nodded. "Thank you." He said. "Umh about your confession." I nervously said I could feel that we were going too fast. "I know you feel it's too early?" He said. "Do you read my mind?" I said and he said yes. He told me that he can read minds and also can erase memories. "I never told my powers to anyone so can I trust you." He said. "You can," I said. We waited for the rain to stop but it didn't. I was cold and shivering. "Hey, are you alright?" He asks me. "Uh, it's cold," I said. "Let's go in the car to make you warm." He said and I stare at him like worried. "Uh but the rain was pouring too hard," I said we might get sick if we would run through the rain. "Uh, it's alright we just have to wait for the rain to stop," I said and he nodded. I pick up and opened my cellphone and put a headset that has been in my bag. I play some music and turn to Lucas. "So hey do you want some music?" I said and he lean his ears to me for me to put it on him. I smile and try to hide my smile. "Umh Lucas, I'm so sorry that I reject you now but I'll think of it," I said and he looks at me with his serious face. "It's alright, I'll wait for you." He said and wink at me. I lean on the tree and wait for the rain to stop. My heart was still thumping so fast. I closed my eyes and starts to sing when my favorite song plays. "No, wait don't go away there's more I want to say " "I won't last the day." Lucas started to join me. "You like this song?" I ask and he nodded. He tells me that this song was the first one he heard. We sing along and waited for the rain to stop. "Kendrick?" I bumped into Kendrick with Lucas, He's holding an umbrella and a worried face.
