Chapter 6- Be Friends

"Why are you here?" Faith asks Lucas. But before Lucas could answer Faith's question. Faith came. "Oh dear, I forgot to tell you that your roommate was a boy and he's Lucas. Do you know him?" Faith's aunt said. Faith grabbed me to a side and whispered. "Is it okay for you to live with a boy? " She said and I nodded. "It will all be fine, We can see that he's a gentleman and there's no need to worry," I said. We go back to where Faith's aunt and Lucas were. "It's fine for me, btw let's eat I'm starving for real," I said. "I'm not hungry, I'm going to rest first. Btw our teacher said that tomorrow our classes will be continued," he said and Faith and I nodded. "Aish aunt, why didn't you tell us earlier that he's Sophia's roommate. " Faith said. "I forgot alright, I'm sorry my bad." She said and she laughed we looked at her confused. "May, I ask? Why are you laughing?" I ask, "Oh, I just thought that you and he are perfect for each other." She said. "Oh btw, someone was calling me outside." She said and Faith drag her outside. They're so sweet. Faith and I continued eating and when we finished. Faith said goodbye because maybe Trixie was finding her. I nodded and agreed, I ask her if she wants me to drive her home but she refused. "I'll take you home." Someone said from behind, it was Lucas. "I'm fine." Faith said. "It's too dark and dangerous." He said and Faith can't refuse and Lucas drives him home. As I was alone I'm not comfortable being alone at a house and I can't stop thinking about random scary stuff in my head. So I just turned on the tv. And the movie was a wolf. I really love wolf movies, like they're so awesome. You can't imagine that they're just an animal and nothing else. "Don't kill me, please." The actress said. When I heard a bang in the kitchen. I cannot go, I'm too scared to look. Is there a ghost in here? But I just continued watching and ignoring what happened and stay calm. When someone "It's too late, you should sleep." Someone said as I jumped out of the sofa I'm sitting on. "What the hell, you scared the hell out of me. " I said. "Oh sorry, the wait is that my favorite movie?" He said as he sat beside me and stared at the tv. I guess he's cute as others were saying. "Uh, you like wolf movies too? Didn't you?" He said. "Yep, I wonder if they're true and just like at the movie pretending to be a human," I said, but he doesn't really like my answer. "Go to sleep, it's already late. Like the other day you got punished by Dean because you're late." He said. Wait how does he know that? "How did you know?" I ask him but instead of answering my question he just left me and ran to his room. He's scaring the hell out of me. I just turned off the tv, and go into my room but before I got into my room. I saw a shadow coming towards me. I ran to Lucas room and knocked on the door. "Please open Lucas, I think someone was there," I said, frightening. "What now?" He said. "I-I th-think someone is there," I said, and I felt my hand was shaking. He walk towards the shadow that I saw and bravely go. "Calm down now Sophia, it's just a cat. " He said. "Wait a cat?" I ask and he nodded. "Can I see it?" I said and he gave me the cat he was holding. "Oh what a beautiful cat, you scared me huh. Naughty little Kitten." I said to the cat. "Are you alright now?" He said and I nodded. As he goes into his room and passed by me. I grabbed his hand to ask him if we should keep the cat. "It's up to you, but I think your best friend aunt will not allow that." He said. "Please?"I said and make puppy eyes on him. "Alright, come here baby." He said and I was shocked by what he said. "Me?" I ask. He burst into a laugh and said. "Not you, the cat." What the hell, I'm too assuming. "No you can't hmpk," I said and his face went from (≧▽≦) to ಠಿ_ಠ. I just laughed at him and took the cat with me into my room."Hello, little kitty? I'm your mommy alright? I'm gonna name you Pia" I said to her when I realized that she was a girl. "Good night my little Pia," I said as I was finishing her bed to stay with. I dm Faith's Instagram and say my good night. But she didn't reply so I just close my eyes and slept. "Goodmorning my pi... what the John?" I said when I saw my Pia was not there at her bed. "It's so early and your screaming aish," Lucas said with my cat. "That's my cat, why are you with her Pia," I said. "Pia? Who's Pia?" He said, I pointed my mouth at the cat and he nodded as he gets what I said. "So you named her Pia?"He said. "Yes, of course, why not?" I said. "Oh nothing it just, where did you get the Pia?" He asks. "My name is Isabella Sophia Morsel. I get the Pia in my name SoPIA " I said and he laughed. "Chill down, I'm just asking." He said. "Alright what time is it?" I ask. " 5:50 I guess." He said. "Did you already feed Pia?" I ask and he nodded. I wink at him and gave him a thumbs up. "I'm going to take a shower," I said. He nodded and starts playing with Pia. "Hello Pia, I'm your daddy. " He said and I was shocked but I'm felting butterflies inside my stomach. I just ran to the bathroom and slam the door. What is wrong with me. After I take a bath I put my uniform on and come out. "Will you go to school with me?" He said. "Why not?" I said and he gave me my cat. "Wait for me, I already prepared the food it's in the kitchen." He said. Such a gentleman. "Are you already done?" I screamed when I finished preparing. "Just a minute," He said. "Aish such a turtle," I whispered. "I hear that!" He said. What the John he heard me but I only whispered. "Oh? So what did I say? " I said to challenge him. "Aish, such a turtle." He said imitates what I said earlier. "Aish just is fast," I said. "Alright, I'm done." He said and come out with his polo button open, and his hair was wet. "Close your mouth so that flies do not enter. I know that I'm hot but I will melt under your gaze." He said and I found myself staring at him. I noticed that he's handsome, that's why some other girls are dying to be with him. But I'm loyal to Josh, he's been my crush since my first year of high school I guess, or in Elem. "Faith just texted me that she's on her way here. Let's go to school with her." I said and he nodded. We wait for Faith for a minute and when she arrives. My cat jumped into me and Lucas laps. "You both make a nice couple someday." Faith said, What no. "Stop joking around, I'll kill you!" I said. Faith cover her mouth and got on the car. Lucas followed her. "Pia behave yourself alright? Mommy's going to school okay?" I said and she meowed as if she understands me and she goes to my room. Such a good girl. "C'mon Sophia." Faith screams. "Coming," I said. I got inside the car and beside me was Lucas. All the way to school we're silent. All of us. "Hey, Isabella!" Someone said behind me when I get down on Faith's car. I turned around and saw Josh. "Oh hi, Josh, nice to see you here," I said. "Should I walk you to your room?" He said and I nodded. Behind us were Lucas and Faith. "Umh I just wanna ask you if you can watch our game this Saturday. " He said. But before I said someone spoke behind me. "No, she can't. " Lucas said. "Who are you?" He said. "I'm her friend right Isabella?" He said. "Yeah, he's my friend," I said awkwardly because I don't think Lucas and I have that kind of friend thing. "Alright see you later. " He said and I nodded. I noticed Lucas was walking far away from us. "I think someone's jealous." Faith whispered and I shrug my shoulders to say I don't know. "I don't think so, let's go?" I said and we followed Lucas. As we got into our classroom. Lucas stared at me with his poker but handsome face. He just stared at me. What's wrong with him. "Hey?" I said to Lucas. He pointed to himself and I nodded. "Why did you leave us?" I added. "Oh it's just, I'm bored. " He said. "But hey didn't you say we're friends," I ask. "Oh sorry, I just thought that the guy was trying to harass or talk to you and you felt uncomfortable. Like I know you're one of the prettiest girls in our school." He said. "Oh sorry, my bad, he's my crush so I felt uncomfortable earlier. Btw let's be friends since we're also roommates?" I said and he nodded. He knows me too that I'm the prettiest girl in our school. Three subjects have already passed, and we're just waiting for the teacher to arrive. Mapeh was our subject before lunch break. While we were waiting, I saw Lucas head down to his chair and I think he was sleeping. But then I saw Ma'am and try to warn him but it was already too late. (Discuss time.)Subject Mapeh Music. "Gave me one composer on romantic period. " Ma'am said and no one raised their hands so I gave her one. "Ludwig van Beethoven," I said and she nodded. "Thank you Ms. Morsel." She said and I sat down. "Anyone else except Isabella?" She said. "Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Am I right ma'am?" Lucas said and turned his head up. "Yeah, it's right." She said. Woah that was amazing. I'm struggling to pronounce that Russian composer name but he perfectly says it. "No one else?" Ma'am said. "So you two get out now and have some fun and eat lunch first. " She said and Lucas stand up and walk through the door. "What the hell?"I whispered to myself. "Go on, Miss Isabella you did great." She said. "Everyone listen up. Didn't I say to read your books and lesson before I teach them?" I heard she say. I looked around for Lucas and saw him waiting for me. He looks cool with others but I saw him not cool on me. I think he's sweet. "Are you going to stare at me every day?" He said when I come to my senses. "Oh sorry," I said. "Hey let's go get some food or snack and I know where can we eat them." He said and grabbed me. I can't believe him, he was just like Faith. As we got to the cafeteria we bought some snacks and when we finished buying food. He grabbed me again and we both reached where Lucas was talking about. No one came here only me. But I swear it's so nice to be here. We are underneath the tree and the view was our field. "Let's eat," I said because I'm hungry. "Aish you're always hungry. " He said. Did I say it too loud that I'm hungry. Is he a mind reader? "Chill I can't read mind, it's just that when you're saying let's eat it means your hungry." He said and that what's makes me more confused. "Aish, I didn't get it but how did you pronounce Pyotre Ilyich Tchakovsky perfectly without making mistake," I said and he started to Laugh. "It's Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky miss Isabella. " He said and I rolled my eyes on him and he continues to laugh. "Just eat hmpk-,- " I said. "Alright alright HAHAHAHAHA," he said but he laughed again while eating. I bring out my cellphone and headset in my pocket on my skirt. "What are you listening to?" He said and grabbed one of the pieces of the headset. "Let's take pictures," I said and he nodded. He's so handsome, I bet his type was pretty. "You look cute together ate Kuya." A kid said. (Kuya - Big brother or respect to older boy. Ate- Big sister or respect to an older girl.) I saw him blushing or I was just assuming. The kid left and we laughed. We didn't expect the kid will say that to us. He didn't know who we are. The bell rang and I looked up in our building to see Faith when someone spoke. " Oh hey kitty kitty, You miss daddy?" He said. I turned around to see Bella, the cat I saw and wanted to take home. "Bella?" I said to the cat and she jumped onto me. Cats we're going on to me for this few days and it was a girl and I really love it tho. "Bella? Is that her name?" Someone said beside me and it was Lucas. "You gave every cat a name," he said. "Yeah, they deserve it," I said and he agreed with it. The cat sat on Lucas and laps and my laps just like Pia earlier. I wonder what she's doing right now. "I already miss Pia," I said while petting Bella. "It's my baby." He said. "Tss, it's mine. " I said and laughed. "It's ours." He said and here we go again I felt butterflies flying inside my stomach. But I ignored it. Then I realized the song was playing. It was a song from Taylor Swift and its title was Today was a fairytale. "Today was a fairytale, You were the prince, "I said and stared at Lucas while he was staring at the cat. I continued singing and I didn't notice that Lucas was humming too. "You took me by the hand, and you picked me up at six. Today was a fairytale. Today was a fairytale." I sing and I didn't expect but Lucas starts to sing but in a boy version of the lyrics. I'm not really sure if that's true but he sang ver well than me. "Today was a fairytale. She wore a dress. She wore a dark gray t-shirt. I told her she was pretty when she looked like a mess. Today was a fairytale." He sings perfectly. Then I let him sing one more line and I duet him even my singing was bad and it really sucks. "Whenever you're around Can you feel this magic in the air? "Look it's Sophia, I thought she have a crush on Josh? But why with Lucas. Argh, such a slut." Someone said and I saw two girls. When I stared at them nicely, they just rolled their eyes at me and they started walking away from us. "Don't mind them." He said. "I'm going. " I said and he smiled. I was about to leave when he speaks. "If you felt uncomfortable with me because of what the girls said to you. Don't mind me. Go on. " He said. "Just remembered that we're not doing anything wrong but getting to know each other because we're friends right?" He added and I nodded. "Sorry," I said to him and he smiled. I sat beside him and Bella go on me. "She's so sweet right?" He said. "Yep. " I said. "Is Josh the one that talk to you this morning?" He said and I nodded. "Oh no, I'm so sorry that I interrupted." He said. "No, don't be sorry. You didn't know. " I said and he smiled. "Let's get going maybe Faith's looking for us. " I said. "Oh yes, that Faith girl I wanna know more about her too." He said. "Then talk to her sometimes when she visits our apartment," I said and he nodded. I stand up and when I was about to walk I tripped on something and I was about to fall. I close my eyes and.....
