Chapter 23-Getting to know each other

FAITH'S POV "Are you alright?" I sit beside him while Lucas and Isabella are playing with the kids "Me?" He pointed at himself and he laughed. "You like me didn't you?" He added. I gulp and hide my smile. "Well, what if we became together." He commented and my inner inside said yes while my heart was pounding and saying dug dug dug dug so many times. "What if.." He leans toward me and I hurt my back trying to stay away from him but I kinda like it tho. I closed my eyes and waited for the kiss I'm imagining. "Just kidding. I have respect for you come on. I would never kiss you if you're not mine officially." He chuckled. "Are you a human?" A kid went to me. She has curly hair that I love. "U-uh yes," I answered politely to her. "Brother is he your girlfriend." The kid asked, pertaining to Kendrick. "B-brother?" I uttered. "Yeah, she's my Lil sis, Athena." He introduced and the kid waved to me. "You're pretty." The kid straightly said to me. I was shocked and thankful for the compliments she said. "You and Big brother suit each other. " She added, but someone drags her away. "Sorry for her attitude, she's a stubborn kid but lovely." A woman said She looks like Kendrick but a female version of her, and the man dragged the kid looked like Athena and I think it was cool. "No need to say sorry ma'am, it's alright. I like her though." I smiles and she replied with a big smile too at me. "You're kind and pretty. I like you for my son." "Mom stops it," Kendrick says with shyness on his face. "Oh, my baby is being shy in front of this young lady. Don't worry, I like her." She tapped Kendrick's shoulders and wink at me then left us. "You're family wants me, so that means you like me too." I try to be cool saying that words. But he just laughed. "Argh, I hate you." I pouted my lips. "Stop pouting you look like a duck." He laughed again and I left him out of anger. But I can't hate him, I like him but let's forget it. I look around for Isabella and Lucas but I didn't see them. "Do you see them? I left them earlier right here." I mumbled and I saw Kendrick behind me. "Just forget them, I'll show you something." He grabs me in my hand and we pass the wolves we saw. "Where will you take me? We're too far from them." I ask but he shh me and covers my mouth. I bite his hands aggressively, and he screams so loudly that his voice made an echo. Suddenly, He grabs me so we fall onto the ground and a rock falls on the spot we were earlier before he pulls me. I stand up first from the ground I fell while he was still sitting there. I felt something strange on my elbow. "You're bleeding." I was shocked by what I heard. "B-blood?" I sobbed while covering my eyes. "It's in your elbow. It was a scrape from the fall you had." He responded. I checked if it was true and my hands are shaking as well. "This glass hurts you." He showed me the broken piece of the glass with blood on it and I was so scared, that I fainted and the last thing I saw was Kendrick's worried face. I slowly open my eyes and saw Kendrick, Isabella, Lucas, and Kendrick's family. "You're awake. Thank god." I sat down slowly on the bed I was laying on earlier. "Isabella told me that you are afraid of blood which explains the unconsciousness you had." He explains. I look at my elbows and didn't see the scrape I had. "You're welcome," Kendrick replied even though I didn't say a word. "His family can heal anyone's wound." Isabella stepped towards me and sit down beside me. "Thank you." I thank his family and Kendrick too. After the explanation we had they left but Isabella, Kendrick, and Lucas stays with me. "Where have you been?" I asked Sophia. "Especially they're spending their time together as a lover birds," Kendrick said. "You're officially together?" I question Sophia while leaning toward her. "U-uh yes. Isn't it obvious?" She responded with blushing cheeks. "Aish you didn't tell me, you brat," I smirked. "Why does she have to tell you everything?" Kendrick asked me. "Hello, I'm her mother," I said teasing Sophia and just kidding. We all laughed at the nonsense we have. "It's getting late we have to go," Sophia suggested and we all agreed with her. We say goodbye to her parents and they let us. "Could I stay here? I'm sure dad will not notice it." I mentioned while entering their apartment. "Wahhhh sure you can," Sophia screamed out of excitement. She pulls me to her room and we have fun. "Hey let's watch something while eating," Lucas yelled. "Yeah, I'll order the pizza." Sophia declared. "I'll pay," I said and we all looked at Kendrick. "U-uh I'm gonna turn on the tv." He announced while being cute. "Here, you're gonna turn on this tv by this remote if you're done plugging it." I taught him. "Thanks " He smiles and I smile back. I sat down beside him and Sophia went to me after she called and ordered the pizza. Lucas grabbed some snacks and sat down beside Sophia. They choose the movie they want and they choose the movie titled Titanic. "Here Isabella." Lucas gave her a snack. "Can I have it?" I pouted. "Ducks can't eat snacks. " I hit him hard as I could so he can feel my anger. Lucas let me have the snacks and Kendrick want them too but I didn't let him. They all laughed at me for acting like a child. "What if one day, Kendrick falls in love with you Faith. Would you let him?" Lucas asked and I was about to answer yes but he acts throwing up. "Ewwww." He disgusting said I want to punch him in the face. He hurt my heart, it broke into pieces. " You're more thicker than a glass." I ranted and he replied with a smirk on his face. Later on, I notices that Sophia was sleeping already and Lucas notices it too. He grabbed the blanket he saw near him and put it on her, while Sophia has no clue of what was happening. "Wow, sweet," I said and he just chuckled. Then suddenly I felt a head rest on my shoulder. Kendrick also fell asleep and he couldn't handle his head and landed it on me. I felt butterflies in my stomach and my heart was pounding so fast that I couldn't bare to move and wake him up. And It was magical.
