Chapter 12 (Wish)
"I'm sorry, baby." He kissed my hair, and I cried. "I'm sorry, are you scared??" he asked, making me sit down.
I don't care what happened earlier. It just hurts to hear what Eli said. What else will I know?
I was also nervous about what would happen when his family found out.
"Please tell me," he said softly, kneeling in front of me.
How can I say? How do I start to ask?
"I'm sorry you shouldn't hear such a thing." Damn.
"She said..." I took a deep breath. "You fuck-" I stopped when he swore.
"Bullshit!" he said, standing up. He squeezed his nape as if I were a big problem.
"That's what she said," I insisted, looking up at him. "Is it true?" Shit. Of course!
He shook his head.
"Let's not talk about it," he said finally, standing up.
After that, we didn't talk about it. We ate quietly, and no one spoke. He was constantly looking at me.
He puts food on my plate and water in my glass.
I looked at him as he wiped my mouth. His thumb brushed my lips. I bit my lip so hard, and he blushed.
I can't get him. He's out of reach.
"I know it's bothering you," he suddenly said.
He took a deep breath.
I stood up and covered my belongings. I was leaving.
"Where are you going?" he immediately asked.
"I have to leave. I have classes."
"No." I raised an eyebrow at what he said.
"Stay here."
And so, I did.
I glanced around and stared at the bookshelves. Maybe if I could read anything, all my negative thoughts would disappear from my mind.
"You love books," he said at his desk while doing something on the laptop.
"Yeah." I took something there and looked. But I was almost shocked when Sebe hugged me from behind. My muscles trembled, and my heart pounded.
"I'm so sorry," he said softly in my ear. Because of his height, he bent down a little so that I could hug him back. How many times has he apologized?
"I want to take you away. Get away from all this. My life is messed up, Natalia."
"I don't want to get you on this problem, but I promise you it'll be okay."
I took a deep breath.
No. That's not my problem right now.
"But you fucked her."
He got away because of what I said. I saw anger in his eyes.
"Don't repeat it."
"Yeah. But you really did?" I insisted. I need to know.
He nodded lazily. "Yeah, now stop."
"But why? Why?"
"Shit." He licked his lips frustratedly.
"That's necessary. No, I mean-fuck." He explained, hardly finding a word.
"Eh, we can."
"Natalia, stop. Stop making this hard for me."
I approached him. I laid the book on the table. If I were the only one to give myself to him, I would have no regrets.
I love him so much.
"Sebe." I hugged him, and he stiffened.
"Baby, don't." I kissed him. I shut him with my kisses. I tried to move my lips, and I was not disappointed. He lost his patience and kissed me back even more.
His tongue knocked on my lips. He tasted the insides of my mouth.
If he didn't just hug me, I would almost fall.
"S-Sebe." He laid me down on the sofa.
My heart pounded immediately. His kiss dropped to the button of my uniform, and he opened it.
Damn shit.
Are we going to do it now? I can't breathe, especially with his kiss.
"Baby," he said, ripping up my bra. The kiss made me gasp, and he sucked on my left breast.
"Ah," I moaned with pleasure. I felt the movement of his tongue and lips on my chest.
"S-Sebe, please," I begged. His hand traveled on my legs up to where he was aiming.
"Sir Sebe?!" The shouting outside and the knocking brought us back to normal.
Sebe immediately adjusted the button on my uniform and my skirt.
He seemed angry at the nuisance. Gosh, we did it. He touched and kissed my breast.
Is that it? It's too close.
It's been a week since we did it in his office.
I don't know.
We don't see each other much anymore. He was rarely in his office.
Did he feel guilty for what happened? Because we stopped? Or because he'd lose control?
It's bothering me.
"Did you hear about it?" She asked.
"Hear what?" I asked her. I know this was about Sebe.
"Their company is failing. According to the article four days ago, the Lee's want to get their shares and investments back. Because Sebe doesn't want to continue the marriage, he says there are other ways to recover their losses. But his parents were not in favor of that. They said they will continue the wedding and Sebe can do nothing there."
My world collapsed at what Kylie said. I took a deep breath. I bent my elbow to my knee and covered my face with my palm. Kylie stroked my back.
"I don't know anymore," I said frustratedly.
"Where are you going?"
I arranged my hair and grabbed my bag filled with towels and minerals. We just finished playing volleyball. I looked at her lazily.
"I'm going home." I could see the concern in her eyes. "Don't worry; I'm okay."
Even if I am not.
He did not show up for a week. I strongly suspect that Eli told her dad about Sebe and me. So, it goes like this:.
What can I do about it?
I close my eyes when I bump into a hard chest. Not again.
I looked at him tiredly.
His cold and piercing eyes met mine. I read nothing there but coldness.
"Spacing out again," he uttered.
I sighed and shook. My tears
seemed to betray me. One by one, they fell.
"Damon," I sobbed. I covered my face with my palm. I immediately felt him hug me, and I started crying even more. He kissed my forehead.
It's weird when someone says something and you cry. It's comforting. Damon is my best friend. It's because I have no brother.
He took me to an expensive restaurant.
"So, what's your plan?" he suddenly asked. He has only been holding his goblet ever since while watching me. I drank the water first before answering.
"I wish I could talk to him." Yeah. I want to hear his side first before I conclude something. "Is there really no other way?"
"Nothing," he sighed. He said it and looked at me with apprehension.
God damn it. I want to see him. But how?
I wanted to ask Damon a favor, but I knew they couldn't get along.
