GABRIELLA. Four months later... "Are you really ready for this Ella?" Martin asked again for the umpteenth time and I could not help the displeased groan that escaped my lips. "Are you seriously still asking me such a question Martin? I mean, I'm already here and I can't exactly back out of this, so stop being such a big brother and give me the positive energy that I need," I snapped back at him playfully and he sighs a little before engulfing me in a quick hug and giving me a quick peck on my forehead. "Okay then Ella, let's go get back what's yours!" He hollers enthusiastically and I chuckle at his silliness before switching my expression into a more serious one. Today is the day that I finally get back what's mine and I don't plan on backing down from my aim at all. It's been years since I've endured the mistreatment from both Gabrielle and my mother and the fact they both had the audacity to falsify my father's will and lie to me that he barely left anything for me made my blood boil. Dad and I had always been really close and he did his best to protect me from both my mother and sister but when he died and I found out that he left everything to Elle knowing just how much I loved being a designer and how badly I wanted Elite fashion to grow, I was genuinely heartbroken that he just threw me into the lion's den and completely forgot about me but turns out, he never for once did. Dad left everything to me because he trusted me enough to handle everything but my ridiculously stupid mother and my clown of a sister had the audacity to present a fake will to me and for a long time, they made me believe that I wasn't loved enough by my father but you know what, everything ends today. The bullying, the overlooking, the maltreatment, all of it ends today and I don't plan on going easy on any of them. I walked into the building from the parking lot with Martin right beside me and honestly, my new found realisation would not have been possible without Martin's help. I never even realised how much of my guardian angel he was until he saved me from getting killed and he also happened to save me from being in the dark for the rest of my life. "You can do this Gabriella," he assures me confidently, squeezing my shoulders lightly to show support. I honestly didn't need it cause I was more than prepared. I'm no longer the Ella I used to be four months ago. These last four months have taught me things I wished I never had to learn the hard way but I ended up learning the hard way eventually. "Good afternoon madam," a few employees greet me and I turn to look at them briefly as I turn back to the direction of Gabrielle's office. The elevator ride suddenly starts to feel a little too slow for my liking but I breathe out occasionally to avoid passing out from being too excited. As soon as the elevator opens indicating that I've arrived on Gabrielle's office floor, I let a shaky breath and with a determined expression I walk into her office disregarding her obviously confused secretary who had tried everything in her power to stop me from going in but I push her off me with Martin holding her down and as soon as I walk into the office to confront my sister, I'm taken aback by who I find sitting right in front of her. "Liam?" I call out his name in shock and he turns to stare back at me with a look of both frustration and confusion on his face and judging from the excited expression on Gabrielle's face, something was definitely off here and I know for a fact that I won't like it. "What the hell have you done now, you bitch!" I snap furiously at Elle who only stares back at me with a fulfilled expression on her face.
