Chapter 11
I took a seat in front of him. But he didn't notice my present so I coughed lightly to gain his attention. When he looked at me my eyes widen in surprise.
He has a large bruise on his face around his eyes.
"What happened, Tammy?" I asked nervously. I know him very well. He is not the type of person who involves any kind of violent activity.
"Nothing. I just-- just fell down in the bathroom." He mumbled.
Is that? Why did I'm not convinced by his answer? "I know something happened so just spit the truth," I summoned with my fury voice.
But he shook his head "It's not a big deal, Sheila. Just leave it." He is not interested to share his grief with me. Am I not worth it?
"How comes it's not a big deal, Tammy?" Said a voice behind me that literally sent a shiver down to my spine. Slowly, I glanced at him with wide eyes.
As usual, he smirked before shoving his hands into his pant pocket meanwhile I silently sat there; No one uttered any words. A drop of tears threatened to come out but I controlled myself. Of course, they might have engaged in a heavy fight.
'And he would have won that.' My subconscious added painfully.
"Why?" I asked slowly after a long time of silence.
"Because I don't like the idea of anyone is hooking with you. You are my doll and you belong to me," he said proudly. "And I have full rights over you." He said the last part glaring at his cousin.
"Listen well." He turned dead serious. "If anyone had gone against my will they would have faced the worst time more than him. Fortunately, he is my cousin" With that being said, he grabbed my hand roughly.
A loud scream escaped my mouth even after I tried my best not to shriek when he grabbed my right hand which is already hurting like a bitch.
He seemed to notice my pained articulation and smirked. "Oh! My poor doll broke her arm." He cooed. How heartless he is! For him, it is total fun. He didn't realize how it is hurting me. Why can't he understand I'm also a human being? Long tears started to running down through my cheeks.
Not getting enough satisfaction, he then twisted my hand roughly making me scream loudly. A satisfied smirk grew onto his face before he let go of my hand.
Suddenly, out of the blue, a girl's voice echoed through the cafeteria, "What the hell are you doing? Can't you see she has already a broken arm?" She questioned directly looking at this demon.
Oh, God! What is she doing! She might get into trouble. Please run away!
He took a dangerous step towards her and raised his hand to grab her by her throat but-- his hand didn't reach the line of her skin as someone's hand stopped him in the midst.
"Take one more step, you will regret the day you were born." He threatened; his voice was fury as Karl. He seemed to be a new guy, I think. This is a third guy who I am assuming was a new student.
"Or what will you do?" Karl challenged and tried to take a step forward but he fell down with his butt off.
Whoa!
I looked between them with wide eyes. What the...
At the lightning speed, he stood up and clenched his jaw. "You fucking idiot." He fisted his hand and charged towards him. When they were about to start a fight, a sudden voice stopped them in their track.
The principal came out of nowhere and stood beside them. "Suspense him." He ordered as his usual tone. But I didn't expect a miracle out here.
Instead of doing what he declared, he looked at both of them and said, "Meet me in the office." With his calm tone. Wow! The grey hair man finally got his guts. It is the first time he is taking his own decisions not bothering to follow this demon's order.
The two went along with the principal and Quinn approached me. "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly. Her voice is full of concerns.
"Yeah." I nodded my head. "What happened? Why is he behaving like this to you? Is anything wrong between you guys?" She inquired.
"No... Nothing." I simply explained.
"Ohhhh.. okay. Does it still hurt?" She asked raising her perfect brown eyebrows. I didn't say anything because it is actually hurting like a bitch.
She took the answer from my silence and dragged me to the medical room. "Why are you doing this?" I couldn't help but ask.
"Because it's our fault. If he hadn't hit you in the morning you wouldn't have got a broken arm. And the moron wouldn't have taken advantages over your situation. Look how reddish your hand is." With that, like a professional doctor, she examined my arm.
"Well, your cousin did a wrong move. He might get expelled from the college. You don't know him, he is arrogant." I stated the truth.
But to my surprise, she just looked at me full of amusement. No hint of anxiety present in her eyes.
"What?" I implored impatiently.
"No one is going to do anything. Trust me. He may be used to bully you. But it won't happen again." She assured me.
"How you know he used to bully me," I raised a question. She smiled slightly then said, "Just now you confirmed it. Don't worry you don't need to afraid of him anymore." She patted my shoulder.
"No, you don't know him. He hit his own cousin just for he helped me. He is so ruthless and heartless. You may get hurt because of me. I don't want anyone to get hurt." I muttered slowly.
"No." She shook her head and said, "You will see. After all, you are the first friend I earn here." Her confidence was like Mount Everest.
I gave her a small smile and said, "Your cousin is caring for you a lot."
