Chapter 31
Sheila's POV:
Even though he had hurt my feelings, It is difficult to see him in a broken state. I wanted to punch his pretty face and hit his hard chest but seeing him in this state melted my heart like an ice burg.
His eyes were bloodshot red as he was crying for hours. I wiped his tears from his cheek but it still pooling down like a snowfall.
"Harry, what happened?" I inquired him.
"I'm sorry, Sheila. It's all my fault." He wailed instead.
"Shhh! It's okay. You did nothing wrong, so please stop crying." I tried to comfort him, but he shook his head and cupped my face in both hands. His light brown eyes are looking at mine like searching for the answer.
"Please say you forgave me. Then only I get some peace," He whispered.
I am totally confused now. Why he is behaving this way. Yeah! I'm mad at him, but it is not a big deal. He is not an easy person especially when it comes to seeking anyone's forgiveness.
"Okay, I forgive you. Are you satisfied now?" I asked raising my brows.
"Thank you, Sheila." He hugged me again which completely took me off guard.
This is the first time he is hugging me and it feels so good. I wanted to be in his arms, forever.
"Harry! I can't breathe." I moaned in a slight tone. Suddenly he let go of me and let out a shaking breath.
"I'm sorry, Sweetheart." Then he started to scratch the back of his neck awkwardly.
Sweetheart?
What got into him?
First, he gave me a bone-crushing hug and now sweetheart.
I cleared my throat to let go of the awkwardness between us. "Aren't you going to her birthday party?"
"That is not important." He shrugged his shoulder and interlinked our fingers before he started to walk forward. Okay, he is acting like my boyfriend. Somehow I feel warm and safe under his grip.
"Sheila! I'm hungry, shall we eat?"
"Harry! Are you serious?" I playfully hit his shoulder. "I am asking you a question. You practically hurt her feelings. Why did you make her a fake promise when you were not interested to go?" I wiggled my eyebrows.
"At least you have to tell her. What if she is waiting for your arrival? For God's Sake, it's her birthday. You are such an idiot." I scolded him for being ignorant to others.
"She deserved that, she is a bitch." He said casually.
"Harry," I warned him showing both hands on my hips.
"Okay...Okay..." He raised his both hands as surrender. I'm happy that he didn't go to her party but deep down I'm worried about his behaviour.
"Harry!"
"Hmm?!"
"Why are you so rude to everyone?" His head turned towards me and gave me a small smile again holding my hands with him.
"I'm not rude to you, am I."
"Ohh! Then what about the accident case? You almost hit me on that day." I pointed out.
"Sheila! it was in the past and I already told you that's not my intention. Could you please let go of this matter?"
"And even you didn't seek my forgiveness." I pouted my lips for that he shook his head disapprovingly.
"Oh, God! Sheila, you were scaring us." Quinn engulfed me in a tight hug. Unable to bear the sudden blow I stumbled back which resulted in we both fell down.
"Quinn, what are you doing?" Harry scolded her and helped me to stand up. "You are crushing her." he pointed out.
Kevin went towards Quinn and helped her to stand up. "Sheila! Are you okay?" Kevin asked concern is evident in his voice.
"I'm fine. Any problem?" I asked but no one uttered any words.
Kevin is so strong when compared with the others. If he was worried about over a thing then it must be a big matter.
"Something is wrong, I can feel this. Quinn, are you going to tell me or not?" I folded my arms in front of my chest, demanding the answer.
Harry's POV:
I saw Quinn engulfed her in a tight hug and they both fell down. All of a sudden I felt cold the moments her hand left mine.
I scolded Quinn for not only crushing her but spoiling our great moments. She jumped between us out of nowhere to ruin our moments. I shouldn't have texted them.
"Sheila, are you okay?" Kevin asked behind me and I feel the tension in the air. She seemed to notice our circumstances and asked her a question I don't want to hear.
Sometimes she was so stubborn. I glared at Quinn while she was shooting me an apologetic smile. I planned to handle this situation as smooth as I can.
"What happened?" She demanded the answer by folding her arm against her chest. She is so beautiful even in her stubborn form.
"Sheila!" I called her name to gain her attention. "I'm hungry, should we please eat something first?"
Quinn looked at me amusingly because she knows me very well that I never give more importance when it comes to food. I narrowed my eyes at her and she coughed awkwardly.
"Yeah! Me too hungry, Should we eat first. Then we will discuss the matter later." Quinn suggested.
"Okay." She nodded her head hesitantly and we all ended in a fancy restaurant. She ordered her favourite meals fried rice with chicken sixty-five. I too ordered the same. We ate silently enjoying our meals.
Once we finished our dinner, we reached our car. Quinn nodded at me to tell her the truth. I took a sharp breath and gathered all the courage to explain everything although she seemed to forget the things.
"Sheila..."
"Hmm..."
"I want to tell you something." I saw her perfect eyebrows furrowing together and she looked at me confusingly.
"Your hostel had a fire accident and all the things were broken down." I blurted out in one shot.
