'So… Do you want to have dinner here?" Joshua asked Carla. They are still at the second floor of the Namsan Tower. They spent a couple of minutes looking at the love locks before they realized it was dinner time and they need to have something to eat. 'It seems there are a lot of choices here." Joshua looked at the restaurants behind them. 'And we have a lot to spend…" Carla raised her arm to show her cardboard bracelet. 'Almost 6,000 worth of free food." Joshua laughed at what she said. 'Right." They chose a restaurant from the selection on that place. They ended up in a Korean restaurant, and they ordered Korean cuisines, including gulgogi, samgyeopsal, japchae and even kimchi and bibimbap. After eating dinner and doing some photoshoot in the tower with the starlit sky as the background, they decided to explore the rest of the theme park. They went to the Petite France, an attraction that was adapted again from a theme park in South Korea with the same name. The theme park was inspired by Petite-France in the city of Strasbourg in Eastern France. 'A French village in South Korea?" asked Carla. Joshua nodded. 'It was also a location for My Love from the Star." 'Wow…!" Carla said as she looked around the colorful lights in Petite France. Because it was dark already, the place glow beautifully as the colorful lights illuminate the place. The beautiful lights are not only attached on the French-inspired houses, but also on the trees and various plants around. 'This is where the scene where the alien made the actress fly to him happened. Then, when she's in his arms, he embraced her and then kissed her," Joshua said. 'You're really invested on that show, huh?" said Carla. 'Because it was really good," Joshua said. 'That's when I realized why Filipinos like Kdramas." 'Why really?" Carla asked. 'Because they are different," Joshua answered. 'Of course, every story has similarities, but those Korean series are not scared to try new concepts just to make their products more beautiful. That Korean series, the special effects are really good it's like Hollywood level. They really invest on their Kdramas." Carla didn't comment on that because honestly, she doesn't know what she could say. She's not a fan of TV series, whether it's Korean or even Filipino. But she knows that Joshua is really passionate about his craft. And again, she admired him for his dedication to the industry he belongs to. 'If only our producers would put that same effort on the TV series here in the Philippines," Joshua said. 'And also, Lee Min-ho is just so handsome," Carla just said. Joshua turned to face her. 'I am also handsome!" Carla laughed at what he said. Joshua looked like a kid who compared himself his playmate. 'Am I not?" Joshua asked. 'You are," said the laughing Carla. 'Very handsome." Joshua stared at her, and that's when Carla realized the meaning of what she just said. Did she just admitted to him that she finds him attractive? 'I mean… you can't be an actor if you're not good looking, right?" she just said as she looked away. Carla felt her heart beat faster. Why did she suddenly feel tensed with the flow of their conversation? She was just telling the truth, right? Joshua Socorro is really good looking, and she's not the first woman who said that. But the truth is, she knows that what she said was not just a matter of fact statement. It's something that she was meaning to say from her heart as she is, honestly, attracted to his charms even during their high school days. 'You can also be an actress." Carla looked at Joshua. He is just staring at her like that, but she can feel the admiration he has for her through his eyes. It was overwhelming that she looked down to avoid it. But then, she felt she kind of like the feeling that that look of him gives. And so, she looked at him again, and she basked in the sensation that his stare is giving her. Carla could still not understand how a simple look can make someone feel excited. Excited and tensed at the same time, because that simple look sends thousands of unexplained emotions to her soul. But then, those emotions can easily be explained by one single word. Realizing that sent shivers to Carla's spine as she is being introduced to the idea of what's to come. But however uncertain and scary it might be, she still could not take her eyes off of Joshua's as they continued staring at each other under the starlit sky. Then suddenly, an explosion of light burst into the night sky. Fireworks display. Carla's attention shifted to that, and she was amazed by the beauty of the colorful lights in the sky. 'Wow…!" She is really awed at what she is seeing. And then, she finally realized what is just happening. Fireworks display – another romantic scene that they usually do in romcoms and teleseryes. 'Beautiful… very…" Carla looked at Joshua. No, he's not looking at the fireworks display, so he's obviously not referring to the explosion of lights above them. He's staring at her, and Carla suddenly felt anxious and embarrassed but exhilarated and glad at the same time. She just looked at the fireworks display again as she tried to ignore what she is feeling. 'Do Kdramas also have fireworks scenes?" she asked just start a conversation and to ignore what she is starting to feel. 'I guess so…" Joshua is not well versed with Kdramas and if they use the fireworks magic often, but he's kind of sure of the romantic vibe that fireworks brings. Or maybe, it's not the fireworks. It's the person that you are with while watching that magical explosion of lights in the sky. He looked up at the sky and watched the fireworks display. Fireworks are really very romantic, maybe because they symbolize the feeling that you have whenever you are with that particular person that is special in your heart. And he's very sure of that because he has felt that feeling a lot of times in his life. And that is what he just felt right now while he was staring at this woman beside him who seems to bring fireworks in his heart since high school.
