Trust

I looked at Red who was sound asleep, she was probably tired we would run earlier. The theme of the game has changed again, by  Pair. Because Red is with me, she is my partner. But I'm confused, an 'Imp' appeared earlier in my palm, I'm sure it means imposter, but Red and I are the only two, I thought the word 'imp' would appear when there were three or more game themes. "It's too early in the morning, the depth of your thinking." I turned to Red who was awake, I smiled at her. "Good morning, eat now." I said, she stared at me. "I'll eat even if you don't say so." She said then took the food in his bag. I looked to the front. "We need to find another place." I said. "By pair is the theme of the game." She said so I looked at her. "Unfortunately for me, you are my partner." She added, I just laughed. "How is your wound?" I asked. "It's okay, it still wounded. Why, are you planning to lick it?" She asked so I looked at him in disgust. "Don't look at me like that, you think it's more disgusting." She said calmly then sat down next to me. A little silence enveloped us. "I want to say thank you, but I don't want to be sorry." She said so I looked at her, she bit into her food then looked at me. "I won't tell you what for, it's up to you to find out." She said then glared at me. "Really, you don't know your power?" She asked, I nodded in response. 'All I know is I can read minds." I said. "I was five years old when I discovered my ability." She told a story. "Like you I also didn't know I could control the fire, until one day. I just woke up with my body on fire." She said and laughed. "I thought I was going to die because of the fire in my body, I hurried to the bathroom and drowned in the water, I thought everything would be fine but while I was in the water, I felt like I was choking." She said then laughed again. This was probably the first time I saw her happy. "My parents saw me and helped me get out of the water. I told them what happened and they said it was normal because of my power." She said then looked at me. "Like you, I was scared at first, I thought I would get hurt but as time went on, I enjoyed my power." She said then stood up. I don't know why Red is telling me this, did she trust me? "After the game, I'll help you hone your power." I stopped at what she said and stared at her. "Really?" I asked. Her left eyebrow rose and then she stared at me. 'When I say so, I will." She said. I watched her fix her stuff, only now I'm guilty of what I'm going to do. I don't seem to be able to beat the game, and I also don't seem to be able to fool Red because now, she can trust me. I don't want to ruin Red's trust, I don't want to break her trust in me. Because I knew, that once I broke her trust it would never come back. "What else are you building us there? Come on, let's find a safe place." She said, I took my bag then followed her. How can I lose the game without breaking Red's trust? We just walked quietly, we could almost hear only our footsteps. I keep thinking about how I can lose the game without breaking their trust in me. The difficulty is when they trust you, you don't want to break the trust they have given you. It's hard to reap the trust Red has given me. "Wait." I stopped walking when Red spoke, she turned to me with a serious face. "I know you're planning something." She said seriously. "Whatever you're planning, don't go on." She said, swallowing me. "It's important for me to win Moon." She added then walked again. I didn't follow her, I was just left standing here where I stood while looking at Red who was walking away from me. I couldn't move my foot, how did she know I was planning something? "Red!" I shouted when I saw an opponent appear in front of her, I immediately ran towards her and aimed the arrow, I would have released the arrow when I could see the face of the one who blocked her. "Dark ..." I called to the man who blocked Red. He looked at me and so did Red. I slowly lowered my bow and arrow. "Moon we have to kill him." Red said so I looked at Red. "I can't." I said, I saw the frown on her forehead. Dark slowly lowered his knife which was aimed at Red. "If you don't want to, it's just me." She said so I immediately waved my hand to keep Red away from Dark and it flew into the tree. I was immediately devastated to see Red's pain. "Red ..." I called and was about to approach her when she came out of the fire. She looked at me sharply as if I was the worst person she had ever known. "Don't come near me." "I'm not trying to--" "I SAID DON'T COME NEAR ME!" she shouted reason for me not to approach her. I watched her stand up while glaring at me. "You were able to hurt me just because of that man." She said while looking at Dark, she looked at me again and smiled. "I didn't know you were an impostor. I shouldn't have trusted you anymore." "Red sor--" "Be together." She said and slowly walked behind us and then ran, I swallowed while looking at the path taken by Red. "Moon ..." I heard Dark call but I ignored it. "I broke her trust." I said and my tears immediately flowed.
