Zero and Moon

Zero took me to a wide and colorful garden, from where we were standing I could see a table in the middle with two chairs. In the center of the table was a red candle lit and with flowers. A romantic environment accompanied by a romantic melody that I don't know where it came from. "You fixed it?" I asked, he nodded at me with a smile. "But why?" I ask. He took my two hands and then kissed them. "I just wanted to give you a good view. One more thing, I really enjoyed arranging it for our first date." He said so I smiled. "Date?" I asked while smiling. "YES." He said so my heartbeat quickened even more. He supported me to the table in the middle and sat on a chair, I watched him pour a drink into our wine glass before he sat across from me, he smiled at me. "Why were you smiling earlier?" I laugh at the question. He took a deep breath. "I just can't believe I'm with you tonight." He said so I laughed. "Wouldn't your parents be angry? You ran away just to be with me." I said, he shook his head. "They're used to it." He says. "I'm different, isn't it also today to celebrate your birthday?" I ask. He nodded. "Why didn't you tell me? I don't have a present for you." I said. He laughed. "It doesn't matter, for me you are the best gift." He said something that made my heart beat faster. Why are you so good at the sweet words Zero? We were alone all night, we ate the food he cooked while we laughed and talked. I had so much fun while I was with him, I felt like I was the happiest woman in the world. Until 12 in the morning, the bell rang, signaling that the dancing would begin inside the Venue where the Moonlight students were having fun. "Would you like us to go inside and dance" He asked, I looked at him. "Maybe your parents will scold us when they see us together." I said, he laughed and shook his head. "No, trust me." He said and held out his hand in front of me. "Just look at me, just focus your attention on me and never look at anyone else, Moon." He said, I noticed the seriousness on his face as he said that. I nodded and accepted his hand. We went inside again, and as I expected the Moonlight students were sitting in the middle while their girlfriends danced. I looked at Zero who was looking at me. "You just look at me Moon." He said, I nodded. We walked towards the center, I even noticed some students staring at me but I ignored that and looked at Zero. He put his hand on my waist while my hands were on his shoulders, we started dancing to the romantic music. "I can't believe I'm dancing the most beautiful young lady right now." He said so I smiled. I knew in my heart that I had lost, that I had fallen for Zero. Who wouldn't fall for a young man like him? She is very sensible, sweet and handsome. Everything is already in him. But I was afraid to tell him how I felt. 'You want to say something?" He asked, I just stared him in the eyes and smiled slightly. "You say Moon." He said, I swallowed and took a deep breath. We just kept on dancing and only him was my attention. "I'm a loser." I said causing him to frown. "You told me that I could never like you, I fought back and did what you said Zero, but while I was with you I lost track of what you said." I said, a smile slowly fading from his lips. "Does that mean you feel the same way about me?" He asked, I nodded. I can see the happiness in his eyes but I see something different in his face now, sadness. That's what I see now. "But we can't be for each other Moon." He said something that made me smile. I looked into his eyes. "Why not? Zero you said you don't care about the state of my life? You said you love me, Zero I love you too what's wrong wth that?" I ask. We stopped dancing and I could see the sadness in his eyes. "Yes I love you Moon, but we can't be with each other because--" "Because what? I'm poor? I'm a Levite and a weak creature?" I asked, he immediately shook his head and hugged me. "I want to love you Moon, I swear to God. I want to be with you but we can't Moon, I don't deserve you." I could feel the pain in his voice. I close my eyes to hold back my tears. "Tell me the reason why we can't be Zero, so that I can understand why. "I said and even though I tried to hold back my tears, they flowed. "I'm afraid to tell you Moon." he whispered and hugged me even tighter. "I'm scared, but if the day ever comes that you find out the reason, I just want to tell you that I'll make a way to just be with you." I think he was already crying when he said that, we just kept hugging and crying. I slowly opened my eyes but there was no Zero that I just hugged, my tears dripped even more when I saw the eyes of the students on me and who is in front of me now. He stepped closer to me and wiped away my tears. "Why are you crying Moon?" This question, I could no longer restrain myself and hugged him and there was even more crying. "Did he make you cry again?" He asked me as he hugged me tight. "Shadow ...." I called to the man I'm hugging now while crying. He hugged me too and caressed my back. "Shhhh, stay Moon. I'm just here."
