Elijah To be honest, I couldn't even sleep last night because I was too nervous about today. Even though I've already met Gabriel and Gabriella a few times, this is the first time I've met them as their father. When I heard both of them call me dad the other day, I couldn't stop smiling. It's a feeling that I can't describe. And today, I'm going out with my own family. I've waited for this time long enough, and now it's time for me to spend time with them. I chose the right clothes to wear today. When I'm done, I spray cologne on myself and then wear my watch. I take my phone and wallet along with my car keys. I walk out of my room and go towards the lift inside my penthouse. Of course I have a house here, and I bought this penthouse when I knew that Alexa lived in Los Angeles. It's because it's easy to meet her if I have a house here and also my penthouse, which is just a few minutes from her house, which is good. When I arrive at the lobby, I walk and go to my car. I unlock it and get in. A moment later, I drive to the place that Alexa texted me last night. It's a good thing that the road is not full of cars. It takes like twenty minutes for me to arrive at the fair? Okay, that's not that weird because today is Saturday, so I guess why not? Just then, I remembered that I and Alexa went to a fair one month after we got married. It's so much fun. I got her a big teddy bear, and she really loved it until I felt jealous over that teddy bear. Flashbacks "Baby! Hurry up, we might get late!" I heard my gorgeous wife shouting from downstairs. "Yeah, yeah, I'm ready. Gosh, the fair is not going to run anywhere. Why are you so eager to go there, though?" I ask her. "Of course I am, because it's been a while since I last went to the fair, and I'm so excited. Let's go." She grabbed my hand, and we got into my car. I looked at her and smiled. My wife is so cute. When we arrived at the fair, I parked my car in the empty spot, and then Alexa just dashed out and walked to the entrance. Well, she is excited. I lock my car and walk to her. "Let's go in now. Why are you walking like an old man, baby?" We walk into the fair, and the first thing we ride is a Spider-Man ride. Well, it's not as scary as a roller coaster, though, but yeah, still, Alexa is screaming like we're going to die soon. I heard her say that she doesn't want to die too early because she wants to build a family with me and our future child. I found that funny because she's so dramatic and I laugh, and it's a good thing that she doesn't hear it, or else she will hit me for laughing at her. After we were done riding that ride, she pulled me to the haunted house. I just follow her and do anything she wants to do. When we're both in the haunted house like usual, Alexa is screaming when the ghost appears. The funny part is that her screaming shocked one or two ghosts in there who didn't come out. I laughed at it, and this time she heard me, and I got hit at the back of my head. "I don't want to go in there ever again." She said as soon as we stepped out of the haunted house "It's you who want to go in, and I just follow you," I said, and a chuckle made her glare at me. I peck her lips, and that makes her smile back. "Let's go play something that's not scary. Like shooting the can?" I ask. "Sure, let's go; that sounds fun." With that, we go to the booth and play that shooting game. Well, the game is so simple. It just shoots with the pistol and makes sure all the cans drop in three shots. "Baby, I want that teddy bear. Can you get it for me?" She asks. "My love, it's so easy. Stand here and see." I reply. I dropped all the cans in my second shoot, and the guy that takes care of that booth gave Alexa the big teddy bear. After we got the teddy bear, Alexa and I just played a few more games, and then we decided to go home. Usually, at night, Alexa will come and cuddle with me, but I think not tonight because she's busy with that teddy bear. I know that the teddy bear is so big, maybe even bigger than me, but still, I'm her husband. "Babe, come and cuddle with me," I said when I sat on the bed and looked at her. She just laid down on the teddy bear and played with her phone. "Babe," I whined. "Elijah, I want to sleep on this fluffy teddy bear tonight. Can I?" She asks me to make her kitten eyes. Well, for that night, I just let it be, but it's been a week. Okay, I'm done. "Babe, I want you to throw that teddy bear," I said in a stern voice. "What? Why?" She asks me. "Because that fatty just stole you from me," I reply, and she laughs. "Awhhhh, did Mr. Perkins get jealous over the teddy bear now?" She asks, then chuckles. "I'm being serious now, Alexa. I don't want those fatty things on my bed anymore." I said. She comes to me, and then she kisses me. I kissed her back a few seconds later. I hold her face in my hands and kiss her deeply. We kiss for a few minutes, and then we break it. She smiles at me breathlessly. "Okay, then if you say so, but I won't throw it. I will give it to Brianna because it is still new. How about that?" I smile and kiss her again. "I can't believe you're jealous over a teddy bear." She said that after we broke the kiss. "Well, I'm being jealous because I love you," I said. "I love you too." She replies, and we kiss again, and you can predict what happened that night. End of flashbacks. I smiled when I remembered that day. I miss her so much. I want to be like the old time with her. I didn't even know how lontimesat I've been zoned out until my phone ring. I quickly take it out from mI'dand see Alexa is calling. I pick it up. "Where are you?" She asks me, and her voice is pissed now. Oh gosh. "I just arrived." Sorry for the traffic jam. I will go to you now." I reply, even though there's not much traffic on the road, but that's what I can think. and she hangs up after that. Well, this is not good. It's all because I was zoning out earlier. I lock my car and quickly find Alexa and the kids. I saw them standing at the entrance, and I ran to them. "Sorry, I'm a bit late. Let's go." I said, and Alexa just went into the fair, leaving me behind. Just then I feel someone hold my hand, and it's Gabriel. I smile and then walk with him. We play a lot of games and let the kids ride. Right now, four of us sit at one of the empty tables and give the twins food to eat. We just eat corn dogs and cotton candy. "Alexa, did you remember when we came to the fair?" I ask. "No." She answers shortly. I just smile and look at Gabriel and Gabriella who are eating happily. When it's nearly night, Alexa said thGabriella,me to go home. It's sad because I didn't even feel like spending time with them. "Gabriel, Gabriella said bye to your dad," Alexa said, and the twin ran to me and kissed my cheeks and hugged me. I wish I could be with them every day without saying goodbye like this. After our little goodbye, they walk to the car, leaving me and Alexa alone. "I had so much fun today. Thanks." I said. "Me too. Thanks for spending time with them. They're so happy today." She said that, and I'm happy that she is happy too. Then the next thing I do is the thing I've been dying to do since this morning I met her. I kissed her, and what surprised me more is that she just let me kiss her. Not long after, she kissed me back. I feel so happy because at least I know she wasn't mad at me like before. We kissed sweetly and passionately. That kiss only lasts for two minutes because she breaks it. "I need to go now. Bye." She said that when she wants to walk to her car, I grab her wrist and kiss her one more time. "I will wait for you until you are ready to be with me again, Alexa. I love you, and that feeling will never change, I promise you." I said, "Let her go to her car.
