Alexa My back hurts because I sit too long. It's a good thing that we've already arrived. It's night here, so that means we're just going to the hotel to rest. I need that, really. "We're not going to stay in a hotel." I turned to him immediately when he said that. "Then? Where are we going to stay?" "In a villa." He replies. I look at him and just agree to it. We walk together, with Gabriella in my arms, sleeping, and Gabriel in Elijah's arm, to the car he has already prepared for us. ****** The next Day When I'm awake, I just get out of my room and go to the kitchen. When I walk in, I see Gabriel, Gabriella, Laila, and Elijah just having breakfast. "Morning mommy." The twins greet me. I smile and sit next to Laila. I eat the toast with jam. We eat in silence until Elijah breaks it. "We're going to Disneyland today." I didn't care where we were going to go because, to be honest, I didn't look forward to this vacation. He must think that I will forgive him whenever he makes a mistake. He's wrong. I want to make sure this is the last time he meets me. I don't want to meet him anymore until I am really ready to meet him. But I still didn't stop him from spending time with his child. He can spend as much time as he wants with Gabriel and Gabriella, but not with me. After all of us finished our breakfast, I walked to my room with the twins. "Mommy, hurry up. I can't wait to go there." They jump. "Go and ask Laila to get both of you ready then," I said, and they immediately ran out of the room. I grab the towel and take a shower. The shower only takes about ten minutes. I picked my black leggings and my striped shirt. I combed my hair and decided just to let it fall down. I do my make up and then I'm done. I take my black wedges and wear them. After a few minutes, I was finally done with my appearance. I grabbed my handbag and my phone, then left the room to go downstairs. When I am already downstairs, I see all of them already ready. Waiting for me. "I'm done. Let's go." All I said was to open the door to go out. The journey to Disneyland from our villa is not that long. It only takes about 20 minutes to go there. "Mommy, can I meet Mickey Mouse and Bella?" Gabriella asks me when we're already in Disneyland. I nodded my head, and she is so happy. We got into the castle, and then we saw a Mickey Mouse. "Mommy! That's Mickey." Gabriella said, and I brought her closer to it. She hugs Mickey Mouse, and I take out my phone to take her pictures. I didn't see Elijah and Gabriel here. That means there must be somewhere else. After I'm done taking pictures of Gabriella, we just roam around and see the show and all until we don't even realise it's already night. I glance at Gabriella, who already looks sleepy and tired. Ummm, Laila, did Elijah tell you where he was going?" I ask Laila, but she shakes her head and says no. I stop, sit on the empty bench, and take out my phone to call Elijah. "Hey, Alexa." "Where are you? Let's go home; the twins are already tired. I wait for you at the entrance. Bye." I said that then hang up. "Let's go and wait for them at the entrance." We stand up and walk to the entrance. A few minutes later, I see Elijah and Gabriel walk to us. Gabriel looks like he isn't tired at all, while Gabriella already falls asleep in Laila's arms. "She's so tired, I can guess," Elijah said, and I just hummed in reply. ***** Right now, I'm on the balcony after taking Gabriel and Gabriella to bed. I just look at the dark, empty sky. I need to be strong and smart to handle this situation. Remember when Elijah broke your heart? So you need to give him punishment for it. You can't easily just fall back in his arms after he apologises. I nodded my head and took a sip of my coffee. Just then, I heard someone clear his throat. I know that's Elijah. I didn't turn around because I just didn't want to look at his face right now. He takes a seat next to me. "Are you okay?" He asks me I nodded in reply, still looking at the view. "Did I do anything wrong?" What kind of question is that? Are you having amnesia or what? All you did was wrong. Man whore. "Alexa? Talk to me, please." I heard his voice kind of begging me to talk to him. Well, isn't it good? Make him beg for me, and let's see if he really wants me. "I'm sorry. Alexa, are you still unable to forgive me 100 percent? But I thought we were fine because we were okay when we were at my parent's house, also in Italy." He said. Awe, babe, everything is just fine. I just feel too tired today." I said. "Did you just call me Babe?" Oh my god, I knew it. I knew you would forgive me, and we would be like before. Thank god." He said this, smiling widely. "Who said I wanted to get back together with you?" The smile breaks, and he looks hurt and surprised. "Why?" "You want to know why?" I turned to look at him. "Because when I think all about it again, I feel like I will look so stupid by giving you a chance and being with you again. You said you were changing, like two years ago? Huh, what a lie when you completely still slept with another woman a few months ago. You know, once a cheater, always a cheater. I don't even know why I need to give you that chance." I said to him: Alexa, what do you mean?" I stand up and stand in front of him. "Are you being serious right now? You ask me what I mean. I thought you were smarter than that. Whatever. All I mean is that I don't want us to get back together again. But I'm not that mean; you can still meet the twins whenever you want because you have the right to do so, but don't even try to meet me and be nice to me. Stop being hypocritical, Elijah." I explain. He looks at me in disbelief, then stands up, and now he stands in front of me. "Alexa, I really changed, and I want to build a new life with you and our children." I scoff. "Sto-" He crashed his lips on mine. My eyes widen, and I try to push him away, but he just grips my waist tightly. I hit his chest, but he was still kissing me. I punched him, but he still didn't budge. Then an idea comes to mind. I use my knee to knee him at his asset. He groans in pain, and I just look at him blankly. "How's that feel, huh? Try to kiss me again; I will do the worst." He tries to stand in a normal way again and hold my hands. "Stop touching me, Elijah!" "Please don't do this to me. I'm begging you, please." He said. I pull my hand from him, and I slap him twice on the cheeks. "Stop all your stupid words because I'm tired of them." He looks at me, and I can see the pain in his eyes. "Why? You feel pain?" I ask him and step towards him until our faces are inches apart. "Don't worry, honey, I felt more than that," I said to him, walking inside the villa and going to my room. I slammed my door shut, took my clothes, and put them in my luggage bag. I'm done. I don't want to be here and spend time as 'family' with him. After I'm done putting my clothes in my luggage bag, I walk to the bed and take my phone to book the flight tickets for me, Laila, and the twins. Then I get out of the room and head to Laila's room. I knock a few times, and a few moments later, she opens it. "Yes, Ms?" "Tomorrow we will go back to Los Angeles at 7 a.m. So I hope you can help me wake Gabriel and Gabriella tomorrow morning." I said this to her, and she just nodded her head. That's a good thing that she doesn't ask anything, because I don't feel like I want to talk much now. With that, I get into my room and get ready to sleep. I turn off the light and then drift to sleep. ***** The next morning My phone rings, and I wake up immediately. I get out of bed and turn on the light. It's still so early; it is 4:30 in the morning. Even though I only got to sleep for like three hours, I didn't want to miss my flight. I grab the towel and just brush my teeth and wash my face. I decided not to take a shower because it's so early in the morning. It takes me about 20 minutes to get it done. I dragged my luggage out of the room. Ms., the twins are already awake." I see Laila, who is already standing in front of my room with her bag and Gabriel and Gabriella's luggage. "Where are they?" I ask. She goes to their room and calls for them to get out. They look tired and confused about why they need to wake up early in the morning. "Mommy, where are we going? I'm sleepy." Gabriel said. "We're going home. It's okay; you can continue your sleep on the flight. Now let's go; we might miss our flight." With that, four of us went downstairs and left the house. That's a good thing that Elijah's driver stays here too, or else it must be hard to find a cab early in the morning. I already informed his driver that we were going to the airport, so he already had the car ready. The road wasn't busy, so we arrived at the airport in half an hour. We walk inside and sit on the empty seat there until our flight is ready. "Mommy, I want to sleep." Gabriel whine. "You can sleep in a few, baby. Wait a minute, alright?" He leans towards me, and I hug him. After waiting a few minutes, I finally heard the announcement about our flight. We get up, and I have no choice but to carry Gabriel because he is already sleeping. Gabriela just holds Laila's hand and walks silently. A moment later, we're already in flight and ready to go back to Los Angeles.
