Alexa When I look at pictures that were sent to me, I feel so much anger. I thought he really changed, but my guess was wrong. He just wants me to sleep with him, and then he will leave me again. It's not because I want him too, but I don't want him to be a bad influence on my kids. I hope Gabriel or Gabriella will never follow Elijah's attitude. Then I decided to call Elijah. I put the phone near my ear, and he answers it in a few seconds. It looks like he's waiting for my call. "Baby?" I rolled my eyes when I heard him call me that. It's super disgusting. "It's you, right?" I hum in answer. "Can we meet?" I ask him. "Sure we can. I really need to explain everything to you." He said. Yeah, explain yourself, but I won't trust any words that come out of your filthy mouth. "Alright, let's just meet at the cafe near my office, can we?" "I'll meet you there in 30 minutes. See you later." I hang up and then throw my phone on my bed before heading into the walk-in closet. I chose baby blue denim and wore my white blouse. I tie my hair into a high bun and then wear my sandals. I put on my makeup, and then, after I'm done with my outfit and all, I take my handbag and put lipgloss, tissue, cash, keys, and my phone in it. After that, I left my room. "Gabriel, Gabriella, come here." I call them They ran to me from the living room with a smile on their faces. "Where are you going, mommy?" Gabriel ask. "I'm going to go and meet your dad for a while. Can you stay at home with Laila for a while?" I ask them. "Can we follow you?" Gabriella ask. "I'm sorry, but I have something so important to talk about with your dad." They both pouted. Well, if you guys pouted, I'm not going to bring you guys for a holiday in two days." I said that to them, and they immediately hugged my leg. "Where are we going!"" They ask excitedly. "It's a secret. So can you guys stay at home?" They nodded their heads. I bend a bit to hug and kiss their forehead. "I love you both of you." I walked out of the house and got into my car. After I've arrived at the restaurant, I walk inside and look around in search of Elijah. I spot him sitting at the table near the corner. I walk to him and just sit there without greeting him. He looks up from his phone and looks at me. "You came," he said, smiling. "Of course I came because I'm the one who asked you to meet," I said. "Well, I'm sorry about those pictures. You know how you look; it's not the same as you think. Really. I didn't even like her. I cut him by putting my hand in front of his face. "I don't want to talk about that." He nodded. "I'm so relieved that you weren't mad at me." I smiled at him. "Actually, I want to ask you if the vacation is still going or not. I already told Gabriel and Gabriella that we were going to bring them. It's in two days, right?" "Don't worry. As long as you still want to go, it will happen. I've already booked our hotel, and I'm sure three of you will like it." Yea, as if. "Where are we going? You didn't even tell me..." I ask. "I guess I'm going to tell you then. We're going to Hong Kong." He said that, and I nodded my head. ***** "Mommy! Mommy!" They grab my hand as soon as I enter the house. I followed them to the living room and saw Laila putting the toy back in its place. "Hey, Laila." She looks up and smiles at me. Mommy, tell us." They said it in unison, and I raised my eyebrows. "Tell you what?" "Vacation... " I smile because they're so excited to go on vacation. "We're going to Hong Kong, my babies. So tomorrow you'll have to pack your things up, alright?" They nodded. "Laila, you're coming with us." I said, and she immediately looked at me. "Me?" She points at her face, and I nod my head. "Of course. I don't think I can handle these two hyper kids." She chuckles and agrees to it. "Thanks, Laila. We will go the day after tomorrow." I said. I spent time with Gabriel and Gabriella that evening. We play a lot of games and have toys. I just let Laila rest for today because she looks tired. Besides, I think it's been so long since I last spent time with my kids. ****** The next day. "Hera, please postpone all my meetings and appointments for 4 days. I'm going to Hong Kong with my family." I told Hera, and she nodded her head. I walk into my office and sit on the couch. Did I make the right decision by going on vacation with him? Of course, it's revenge time! I sighed and leaned my head back on the couch. My phone buzzes, and I huff in annoyance. I take a look at it and see that it's Elijah. I roll my eyes, then open them to see what he wants. 'Can't wait for tomorrow;)' I don't know why, but I feel gross. "Yeah," is all I can say to him. 'Our flight is at noon tomorrow. Do you want me to pick you up?' 'No, it's fine. I bring the kid's babysitter too.' Sent. It took like three minutes before he replied to me. 'Sorry, I just got some documents to sign. Oh, that's fine, then. Maybe we can spend time only with both of us there.' That's the last time we're meeting each other, Elijah. Yeah, it will be fun.' It's not. It will be a time of hell because I'm with you. 'I've got to go now. See you.' I immediately closed my phone and put it beside me. Let's see what happens on this vacation. I look forward to it. ****** "Wake up, sleepy head," I call the twins, and they both just snuggle but don't wake up. I sighed and then just decided to let them sleep for a bit more while I got ready. They might be tired from the flight because it takes about 15 hours to go to Hong Kong. I walk to my room and get into the bathroom. I undressed before to let the water run down my body. I close my eyes and just think about the vacation. After a few minutes, I turn off the shower and grab the towel. I walk out of it and walk to my walk-in closet. I pick out my white tee and black leggings, then wear my sneakers. I didn't put on any makeup because I'm too lazy to do it. After I'm done with it, I walk out of the walk-in closet and leave my room with my luggage. "Laila, did they already awaken?" I ask Laila who is taking the luggage bag from the twin's room. Yes, they are, Ms. They didn't want to wake up at first, but when I said we were going to Hong Kong, they just became so excited and woke up immediately." I smiled at her. She dismisses herself to bring the luggage bag downstairs. "Twins! Let's go. We're going to be late." They run towards me with a huge smile on their faces. Mommy, I'm so excited," Gabriel said, hugging me. We walked downstairs together and left the house. We get into my car, and I start to drive to the airport. It's 10 in the morning. I hope the road wasn't that busy, or else we're going to be late. Even though we're going on Elijah's private jet, I still don't want to be late. New York is always busy. Just as I expected, we're stuck in traffic, but it's a good thing that we were only stuck for an hour. As soon as we arrived, I parked my car and took out the luggage from the tank. "Let's go," I said to Laila and the twins. We walk inside and just sit on the empty seat there. Just then, my phone rang. I pick it up when I look at Elijah calling me. "Hello," I said. Alexa, where are you?" "I already arrived at the airport. Did you already arrive?" I ask. "If that is so, I will go to you now. Then can we fly a bit early, like now?" "It's fine by me." "Hey. " I turned to see Elijah, with his casual look, smile at me and the twins. I force myself to smile back. We decided to get on the plane early so that we would not arrive there too late. I just agreed to it, and now we're already on his private jet. I look at Gabriel and Gabriella, who look so happy and excited. Elijah sits next to me and holds my hand. I look at him, and he smiles. "Thanks for agreeing to go on a vacation with me." "No problem. I go with you just because the twins really want to go. I just want to make them happy." I reply. "What about you? You didn't want it to happen?" "I want it." I smiled at him. I look out from the window and just stay silent. He gets up from the seat and just plays with the twins. That's a good thing that he dismisses himself, or else I don't know what I'm going to do. It's going to be a long flight. So I decided to just sleep.
