Alexa I just stayed at Elijah's parents' house for two days, and now I'm back to my sweet home with my lovely kids. This morning, as usual, I did my morning routine, and when I'm done, I walk out of the room and head to the twin's room. When I open the door, I see they are still sleeping soundly on the bed. I didn't mean to wake them up, but I need to because I need to bring them to my office today. Dolly has some stuff to take care of. That's why she can't come and take care of Gabriel and Gabriella. "Gabriel, Gabriella Wake up, sunshine. Hey." I said it softly, and I was quite surprised when both of them didn't cry or whine but gave me the cutest smile. "Good morning, my angels. Wake up and take a bath because both of you are coming with me to my office." I said, and they nodded their heads and walked to the bathroom. I sign at myself because I am already ready, and now I need to give baths to both of them. I should wake them up and make them ready first, but it's okay. I can handle this. After a few minutes, I wrap both of them in their towels and quickly dress them up. I don't want them to catch a cold. "Mommy, hungry." Gabriella starts whining. "Okay, let's go downstairs and eat. Don't cry." I kiss her cheek and bring both of them downstairs. A moment later, I hear a doorbell, and I quickly walk to the front door and open it. "Welcome back, Ms., and good morning. "It's Dolly." She said it with a smile, and I looked at her. "I thought you couldn't come today. You said that you have something to take care of." "I settled it faster than I thought. So, I decided to come here and continue my job," She replies, and I let her in. That's a good thing she's here. At least I don't have to worry much. "The kids are already awake because I want to bring them to my office, but you're here. So, I don't need to bring them then." I said, smiling at her, and sat down to eat breakfast. It's lunchtime, and I think I need to go home because I keep feeling anxious since I left home this morning. I don't understand why, and the best feeling is that I need to go home and see if my babies are fine. I drive the car a bit fast, and I arrive at home in just fifteen minutes. Everything seems fine from the outside. I walk into the house and see it so messy. It seems like a tornado flew around my house. This is super messy, and this is the first time I've seen my house this messy. I walk to the living room and see Gabriel and Gabriella's toys all over the place. The television is on, but no one is watching it. "Gabriel? Gabriella?" I call their names, but no one answers. I run to go upstairs and see Dolly walking out of my room. "Dolly? What are you doing in my room?" I ask, and she seems shocked to see I'm here. "Ms. Johnson, I thought you were busy today? Why are you here?" "Where are my children?" They're playing in your room." I look at her weirdly. Why would they play in my room? I enter my room and see both of them sleeping in my bed. "Care to explain?" That is quite rare for them to randomly take a nap on my bed without me there. "They said they want to sleep in your room today." I walk to them and see Gabriel already half-awake, but Gabriella is still sleeping soundly. I look at them, but I still feel there's something that Dolly keeps to herself. She seems fishy. "Mommy, hurt." I look at Gabriel and see a bruise on his feet. My eyes went wider when I saw those bruises on my son's feet. "Dolly! What did you do to my son?" I walk to her and ask her face-to-face. Her face looks scared, but then she looks so confident and brave in front of me. "He fell. I told him not to run, but he still ran and then fell. I didn't do anything to him." She answers calmly, saying nothing happened. "I warned him, but he didn't hear me, so it's his problem, not mine." My blood boiled in anger when she said that. I know Gabriel can be so hard to manage, but why can't she help him or put on some ointment to reduce his pain? why? Also, why is her behaviour quite different today? She seems rude, not like the usual nice Dolly. "What do you say?" I paid you to take care of my children, woman!" I was so angry when she replied like nothing had happened. "Well, You think I want to be a nanny that much? Sorry, I just did that because of money. I didn't care much about your children." I was so shocked when she said that. I slap her face because this time she is too much. I am thinking of firing her, but she seems like a nice girl. That's why I haven't fired her yet, but this time I really want to. "Get the hell out of my house, you whore!" That's all I said, and she just huffs and walks out of my house after she slammed the door shut so loudly. I sit on the couch and put my hands on my face. "Mommy?" I walk quickly to Gabriel and look at his feet. The bruise is not that big, but still, it must hurt for a three-year-old kid. I put some ointment on it and hugged my son. I can't believe Dolly turned into someone I don't even know today. I don't know what's going on with her, but she is not allowed to be close to my family ever again. "I am so sorry, Gabriel; I love you so much," I said, hugging him. I look at Gabriella, who hasn't moved since I got here. She usually hugs her bunny when she goes to sleep, but this time she didn't. I try to wake her up, but then I realise that her face looks pale and my heart is beating so fast. I didn't think much; I carried Gabriella and brought her straight to my car. I need to bring her to the hospital real quick. Just then, I remembered that Gabriel's feet hurt. I run back to my room and see him sitting on the bed, looking so innocent. I carry him and bring him to the car too. After that, I drive as fast as I can to the hospital, and we arrive in ten minutes. "I'm sorry, but I need help. My daughter is unconscious. Please help her." I said to one of the nurses, and she helped me carry Gabriella inside while I needed to carry Gabriel, and he needed to meet the doctor too. I can't cry right now because I need to stay strong with my children. I and Gabriel sit on one of the seats there while waiting for the doctor to check Gabriella. I was so relieved when the doctor said that Gabriel's feet had nothing serious and would recover in a few days. After a few minutes, the doctor walks out of the ward. I stand up to meet the doctor. "How's my daughter, doctor?" I ask. "I can say she is in good condition, and I already gave her medicine. So, she will wake up in a few hours." I nod my head. "She became unconscious because of the quantity of peanuts she ate. I don't think she can eat the peanut. Can't she?"Peanut? Dolly must give Gabriella peanuts and try to kill her. "Yes, she is allergic to peanuts." Dolly is way too much. I need to make a report because she's trying to kill my daughter. I talk to the doctor for a few minutes, and after he dismisses himself, I carry Gabriel and walk into the ward where Gabriella is. "Gabriella, I am so sorry." I keep blaming myself for this because I can't help feeling guilty. I didn't call Elijah at all, even though he has the right to know about this, but I didn't. I look there and keep looking at Gabriel, who is sleeping soundly on the bed, looking pale. "Gabby, you must be hungry now. Let's go and eat downstairs." I said, and before I walk out, I kiss Gabriella's forehead. We go to the canteen, and I buy chicken rice and one bottle of mineral water. Here's your food. Eat up." I said to him, Smile. "What about you?" He asked me. "I'm still full. It's okay, you can eat your food." I said, but he leaned back in the chair and crossed his arms. I raise my eyebrows at him. "Why?" I ask. "I'm full too." He answer. "Gabriel, you have to eat. Now, come, I'll feed you." I said, but still, he didn't budge. Okay, okay, we will eat this together. How about that?" He smiles and then starts to eat one spoon, then gives me the spoon. I also eat with one spoon. Both of us eat together until it's finished. Then, I wash my hands and Gabriel's hands. After that, we make our way to the room that Gabriella is in. I take a seat on the chair beside her bed, and Gabriel just sits on the bed. "Mommy, why is she sleeping so long?" He asks me "She will wake up soon. Just wait, okay?" I said, and he nodded his head. I need to find a new babysitter to take care of them as soon as possible. I don't want this incident to happen again. I love both of them so much, and I don't want to lose them ever. For some reason, I have the urge to call Elijah and tell him about all this, but my ego says no. I wanted to, but I don't want him to be here, even though I know he has the right to be here. Gabriella is his daughter, and of course he will be so worried after hearing about this. About Dolly, I'm still confused about what's got into her today.
