George Tomkins stepped on both feet with quick, firm steps. His face was hardened and he was holding back his emotions. But all who watched it would notice that the old eyes were burning and burning with anger. He was currently at Tomkins House, and intended to meet Louisa there. "Mr. George, wait a minute. You can't enter the room right now. Boss Louisa is on business inside," said Jane, who tried to stop Mr. George to enter into Louisa's office at this time.
'WHAT THE?! WHAT'S THE BUSINESS WITH YOU, HUH? I WANT TO MEET HER RIGHT NOW! AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO STOP ME." shouted Mr. George pushed Jane's body out of front of him and walked again until he arrived in front of Louisa's office.
Brug
Mr. George opened the door to Louisa's office roughly. Jane who was right behind him tried to stop Mr. George. Mr. Arrival George there instantly made Louisa and Henry in the room stand up from their seats. Henry looked surprised, while Louisa just stared blankly at Mr. George was still standing at the end of the door. 'Boss, I'm so sorry. I've tried to stop him but he still insists. Please, I'm so sorry, Boss," said Jane in a hurry there with her head slightly lowered.
"It's okay, Jane. You can go back to work now," answered Louisa with a small smile.
Jane nodded her head and quickly walked away. Meanwhile, Mr. George without saying anything immediately stepped on his feet to get deeper into Louisa's study. Seeing this, Henry immediately approached Louisa and stood right in between Mr. George and Louisa. Henry's face looked even and wary. Mr. George who saw this immediately frowned, and felt displeased.
"What are you trying to do, Henry? Get out of my sight right now," hissed Mr. George was there gritting his teeth.
"I'm sorry, Mr. George. But this is my job to protect her as her bodyguard," Henry answered firmly.
Louisa looked at Henry who had his back to her with a faint smile, before finally looking back at her Uncle there. As for Henry, he looks normal and is not affected in the slightest by Mr. George's bluff it to him. 'I have no business with bodyguards like you. This is my and Louisa's business. It has nothing to do with you," said Mr. George who began to feel uncomfortable with Henry there.
'If you want to talk, then go ahead, Mr. George. But Henry will still be here," interrupted Louisa at last.
'I can't believe that you did this to me, Louisa. I'm your late Papa's older brother and you treat me like I'm a criminal," said Mr. George shook his head in disbelief at what had happened.
Louisa looked very calm and chose to remain silent and wait for other things to be said by Mr. George after that. "I didn't expect you to be able to legally issue a warrant and its content was even does not make sense," continued Mr. George while showing the sheet of paper in his right hand from inside the coat he was wearing.
"Does not make sense? Are you kidding me right now?" Louisa couldn't help but chuckle and stare in amusement at Mr. George over there. It made Henry and Mr. George frowned slightly in confusion. And Henry immediately tilted his body slightly to be able to look at Louisa.
Louisa stepped forward slowly until she finally stood right next to Henry. 'I have thought about this well. Even all members of the Tomkins House team have agreed to this plan. And I should have been doing this five years ago when I finally took over this Tomkins House," continued Louisa.
Mr. George rounded his eyes and couldn't believe it. He didn't expect Louisa to be brave and to be able to do this to him. Her own uncle. 'But still, you can't do this to me, Louisa. I'm your late Papa's Big Brother, and that means I have the right to interfere in Tomkins House affairs. And you!" Mr. George pointed his index finger at Louisa. 'You should be thanking to me, because if it wasn't for me to help you, then you wouldn't even have been able to get inside Tomkins House. I helped you with the company and all, and see how you repay my kindness."
Louisa's face hardened, and her whole body stiffened. 'I don't even need to say thank you for that. Whether there was help or not, I would still be able to get into Tomkins House. Because I am the only biological daughter of Vederick and Lottie Tomkins. And I have full rights to Tomkins House. What's more, Tomkins House is a company that Papa built on his own, without any interference from you or other members of his family."
Mr. George face instantly turned pale and flushed. His palms were clasped tightly together, until you could see the muscles there. But his lips pursed and said nothing. "And remind me, Mr. George. What did you say to Papa when he asked for your help first. You said that you don't think of Papa as your brother anymore and cut all ties. Then you came like a hero to me, but in reality you just wanted to control and manipulate me. Until I really don't know myself," said Louisa angrily.
Then Louisa sighed and began to turn around, her back to Mr. George and Henry there. "I think you have to leave right now, Mr. George," Louisa asked in a low voice.
'You've made a huge mistake, Louisa. And it'll never be good for you and Tomkins House."
After answering, Mr. George threw his sharp eyes at Henry and Henry gave him an even look. Then Mr. George stepped away from inside Louisa's study there with long, heavy strides. He even deliberately opened the door violently. Instantly the atmosphere in Louisa's study became silent and awkward for Henry. When Henry turned his head and looked at Louisa, he felt amazing, though he didn't know how and the right words to describe it.
"Shit. That was right on target." Louisa suddenly shouted and turned around. There was a big bright smile on her face and happiness evident in her eyes. 'Henry, did you see that earlier? I managed to make him speechless at all. I... I feel relieved and... and I don't know how to explain all of this. It was really amazing…"
Henry couldn't stop himself from smiling at the current Louisa. Especially when Louisa started to dance a little there, and couldn't stop smiling. "That's very good and wonderful, Miss," Henry said with a smile.
Louisa stopped dancing and her eyes looked teary still feeling happy. "You are right. That's very good..."
Louisa stepped closer and stretched out her left hand to hold Henry's right hand there. 'Then, let's celebrate together by going to the club! Drinking and dancing." said Louisa in a loud voice. She looks very excited. It really doesn't look like the cold Louisa she used to be.
Henry nodded his head quickly. He was carried away by the spirited atmosphere given by Louisa. "Of course Miss. I'll take you to the nicest and best club in town," Henry promised.
"Good!" Louisa let go of Henry's hand and stepped closer to her desk. 'I'll finish my work right now and we can leave early. And yes, I had to go to the hospital to have the stitches removed. After that, I can dance freely later," said Louisa, still with a big smile on her face.
Henry could only nod his head faintly. And sat back on the sofa in the workspace and watched Louisa start to focus on her work again. But Henry started to frown a little when he felt his cell phone vibrating in his trouser pocket at this time. Henry immediately reached into his pocket to take out his cell phone and read the contents of the message he had just received. After reading the message, Henry's facial expression turned blank and hastily put the phone back in his pocket.
