"Good morning Boss."
All the Tomkins House employees immediately greeted Louisa who had just entered the lobby area of the building. Wearing the formal attire she usually wore, Louisa looked much more relaxed than usual. She was really trying to let go of all the fatigue she had been feeling in the past few days. And Louisa tried not to show it too much in front of all her employees.
"Good morning." Louisa returned their greetings with a small smile. One of the habits that she still can't do to all her employees. Smile.
After that all the Tomkins House employees immediately went back to work in their rooms and their respective parts of the job there. Louisa stepped closer to Mrs. Grace. "Mrs. Grace?" She says hello.
In the room Mrs. Grace who saw Louisa's arrival there was suddenly surprised, and hastily got up from her seat and walked towards Louisa who was standing in front of her room. "Yes, Boss? Is there anything I can help you with?" Mrs. Grace asked.
Louisa tried to smile. 'Yeah… I mean, no. I just wanted to say that I don't need a secretary anymore. From now on, I myself will do all those tasks well. I will work even harder. And yes, sorry for having made you work more because of my previous request, as a substitute secretary. So, I've decided not to use a secretary anymore." Louisa quickly explained the purpose of her arrival in Mrs. Grace is there.
Mrs. Grace, who heard this, opened her mouth slightly. 'B-but, Boss… are you sure you don't have a secretary this time? I mean, you have enough of work. And if you don't have a secretary to help you, you might be in trouble later." Mrs. Grace answered with a doubtful feeling.
"No problem. Besides, I'm sure I'll get used to being without a secretary. If there are more jobs at Tomkins House, I might think about recruiting a secretary in the future. But that's not for now on." Louisa again explained.
Mrs. Grace was silent for a moment, before finally nodding her head slowly, and smiling back at Louisa there. "Okay, Boss. If it's the Boss's decision, then we'll all accept it. And also don't forget to always support the boss, anytime and anywhere." Mrs. Grace in the end.
Louisa smiled wider, and breathed a sigh of relief. "In that case, okay. Please continue your work, Mrs. Grace. Thank you."
"Sure, Boss." Mrs. Grace again nodded her head slowly there.
After that, Louisa walked away from Mrs. Grace went to her study which was on the top floor. Louisa entered the elevator slowly, and when the elevator doors closed, Louisa sighed slowly. Everything went smoothly. Now you don't have to worry about all the possibilities that will happen at Tomkins House. Louisa still has the gun that Mr. George when he killed Jane. And that was enough for Mr. George to at least stay away from Louisa as well as Tomkins House. Of course.

Louisa's thoughts were interrupted when the elevator door opened, and immediately, Louisa walked out into her study. The floor and hallway leading to her office there only contained a few employees who worked in the filing section. Louisa stepped into her room and slowly closed the door. There wasn't much he could do. Sitting in her work chair and looking at the two paperwork she had to look at. Not much or can be said quite a bit.
Louisa reached out her hand to take the top report file. A jet black file folder. Louisa placed the file right in front of her. Then quickly, Louisa put on her glasses and took the pen beside her. Opened the file folder, and immediately frowned. Inside were several large sheets of paper with many things written on them, several photos, a flash drive in a small plastic bag, and an envelope.
"What does this mean? What file is this?" Louisa muttered in disbelief.
There was a feeling of fear that instantly entered to her feelings without being able to just stop it. Her heartbeat was getting faster now. And unfortunately, Louisa couldn't stop her at all. She was feeling anxious. Shit. She didn't like mysterious things at all. Not while she's in her office. Inside the Tomkins House area. Things like this shouldn't be there. Hastily, Louisa put the folder on her desk, and turned to take her office phone. Pressing the number two button which is directly connected to the reception desk on the first floor, precisely in the lobby of the Tomkins House building.
'Yes, I wanted to ask about something. For a black file folder in my workspace. When will this folder arrive, and by whom did it deliver it to my study?" Louisa immediately asked without further ado. With a tone of voice that sounded very serious at this time.
'Boss, the file arrived last night. And the one who brought the file into the building was the night guard. Then just this morning, brought by Mrs. Grace into your room. What I know from the security guard last night said that if there was a new writer who sent the file to publish his book. The writer said, you already know it. So we just need to bring the file into your workspace. I see, Boss."
Louisa was silent for a moment listening to this. Her right palm gripped the receiver so tightly that her hand was slightly red. "In that case, okay. Thank you."
"Sure, Boss."
After that the call ended, and Louisa put the receiver down slowly back to where it came from. Then Louisa's eyes turned back to the file in front of her at this time. There are doubts. She could clearly see the characteristics of the person who had probably sent this file for him to Tomkins House. Julian Cole. Of course. These characteristics are even clearly visible from the folder and envelope in the file. Quickly, Louisa opened the envelope, and found a letter. Louisa opened the letter and started reading it.
An attempt on the light, will make the darkness begin to disappear. Justice will be obtained. For you, and for everyone who deserves justice itself. I promise that I am never to disturb your life again. I promise that it's not my goal to come back into your life, LoLo. And instead of avoiding me for the past and the mistakes I've made in the past, then it's better to accept help from me, LoLo. This may not be worth what I've done to you, but I hope you understand. That I'm no longer Julian Tomkins. But Julian Cole. Accept my help, then maybe after that you can start trusting me again. Regards, J.C.
Louisa tightly gripped the letter in her palms. Placed the letter roughly on top of the file there. Her facial expression started to harden. She didn't like it at all that his guess was right and on point. The files are all from Julian. A figure he should have avoided forever. But he could always find a way to interrupt and disturb her life as much as possible. Unlucky. Louisa couldn't take it anymore.
"I don't care what you give it to me, Julian. I don't even want to get any help from you. Will never!!! Go away from me and my life!!!"
Roughly, Louisa pushed the folder down and scattered its contents on the floor of her study. Louisa tried to regulate her breath that was feeling tight with roughness. Louisa dropped her head right onto her open palms. She looked down quite deep there, closing her eyelids tightly enough. "Relax, Louisa. Calm down… come on, try to calm down…" Louisa kept muttering to herself right now.
When Louisa slowly opened her eyelids, her gaze shifted to looking straight at the contents of the file lying haphazardly on the floor of her study. Louisa furrowed her brows when she realized there were some photos that she hadn't seen. Then slowly, Louisa turned to take the contents of the file and brought it back to her desk.
'Th-this…" Louisa mumbled as she looked at the sheet of photographs.
Those are Mr. George when entering the prison building where Jane is being held. In the photo it is clear that Mr. George gave some money to the police guard who was manning the lobby of the prison building. Louisa put the photos on the table, and turned to open the plastic bag that contained a flash drive in it. Without the slightest hesitation, Louisa started plugging the flash drive into her laptop, and found a video. And when Louisa opened the video, she seemed to have forgotten how to breathe. It was a CCTV video that police said was missing the day he and Henry came to see Jane's body.
Unable to see the whole video, Louisa quickly turned it off. And save the flash back. "These are all evidence for Mr. George. But how did Julian get all of it? What does all this mean? And how did he know that Henry and I were trying to find other evidence to put Uncle in jail? How could he know everything? And give this to me? What does he really want from me?" Louisa muttered with her uncertain feelings.
Louisa arranged the contents of the file neatly and closed the folder again, then put it into her bag. Store it properly and be careful. At least, when Henry came home, Louisa would tell Henry all this. But her mind couldn't stop wandering at this moment. 'Julian Cole… what do you really want from me right now?" She muttered again.
'Should I start believing in Julian? But how can a man like him be trusted again so easily? Even though he's providing help... it just feels weird and bothersome to me. I can't just trust Julian. After all, he was Uncle George's son. Between father and son must have in common. I won't be able to manipulate him or his father. Not now, nor later. But this file, will be the exception. If he had come in front of me, I wouldn't have stopped myself from driving him away from me."
Louisa spoke full of promise. She tried again to calm herself down. It feels like it's hard to come back. Julian's arrival will indeed overwhelm her. On the other side is Mr. George, and on the other side was Julian. Both are unbelievable. They are the same in the end. Full of manipulation and play.
