Henry stopped the car he was driving right in the front yard of a company that looked very deserted at the moment. Henry caught his breath slowly in the car. Then he turned his gaze to a file he had placed right next to him, and picked it up. Henry gripped the file tightly there. After that, Henry got out of the car, and looked behind him. There's already the FBI, Julian, and his agency pals manning all parts of the company building right now. Henry looked at Julian who was in the car with some of his friends, and gave a curt nod of his head. Julian nodded back there, and gave the signal to his workers.
Henry turned his gaze back to the company building, and started walking into the building. The quiet and dim atmosphere immediately greeted Henry's arrival there. Henry could even hear the footsteps of his feet there. Henry didn't know which way to go at this point, but when Henry started to see something right in the center of the building, Henry immediately widened his eyes. 'Louisa..." He whispered in a disbelieving voice.
With tremors in his legs, Henry tried to quicken his footsteps to get closer to Louisa. His breath hitched every time he looked straight at Louisa who was sitting on a chair, her hands and feet tied to the chair. Louisa even looks down. There was a possibility that he was exhausted right now. "Louis!" Henry spoke again. This time, he intended to call Louisa.
Hearing Henry's call, made Louisa, who had been lowering her head, start to slowly raise her head there. Staring in disbelief at Henry who was sprinting closer to Louisa right now. 'Henry..." Louisa whispered with relief. But a second later, Louisa began to frown slowly, when she realized something was in Henry's hand right now. Impossible. Henry, it wouldn't be possible to actually give George Tomkins the title of Tomkins House, would it? Louisa thought to herself. And Louisa was feeling scared right now.
"Wow. Wow. Wait there, Henry."
George Tomkins' voice suddenly interrupted. Which immediately made Henry stop his footsteps. Henry turned his head towards George Tomkins who was seen walking proudly there. With his face upturned, still feeling full of power. Henry glared. 'We have to barter, don't we? Give me the file first, then I'll give Louisa to you. Come on, quickly give me the file now, Henry." said George Tomkins while extending his right hand towards Henry there.
"Not. No, Henry. Do not do it. Please! There must be another way for that. But don't give me the file, Henry. That is my life. It's my dad's. Please…" Louisa shook her head in a fast motion. Trying to rebel on the chair she's sitting on right now. Her face began to look puffy with tears that were dripping down.
Henry looked at her with an inexplicable look in his eyes. "I'm so sorry, Louisa. But I have to do this... for you. And your life." Henry answered at last.
"No, Henry. No. Please…" Louisa was sobbing again there. Louisa couldn't lose Tomkins House and gave it to George Tomkins. The company had been his for five years, but other than that, there were many memories stored within the company. Memories when both of Louisa's parents were still alive. Together with Louisa.
George Tomkins who saw it looked even more happy. 'Come on, quickly give me the file. Then meet Louisa." Says George Tomkins again.
Henry looked back at George Tomkins. Then slowly, he pointed the file at George Tomkins. Which, in no time, George Tomkins snatched the file from Henry's hand. Likewise, Henry immediately ran over to Louisa, and untied the ropes that tied Louisa to the chair. Louisa who was still sobbing, stared in disbelief at Henry and George Tomkins alternately there. 'Why are you doing this, Henry? Why?" asked Louisa in disbelief.
Henry didn't answer. He focused on getting the ropes off, and when they fell, Henry helped Louisa up from her seat. Henry gripped Louisa's body tightly, then turned his gaze to George Tomkins who was starting to open the file there. Before long, George Tomkins seemed to widen his eyes there, and quickly closed the file. "YOU TRICKED ME!!" George Tomkins shouted loudly, and threw the file hard on the floor.
Henry swiftly raised the gun he was carrying, and brought Louisa's body to stand right behind him. George Tomkins also took out a gun and pointed it at Henry. 'How dare you trick me, by giving me a fake file. Damn you!!" George Tomkins shouted loudly again.
Louisa, who was standing behind Henry, looked at the side of Henry's hardened face and looked so focused there. Henry didn't give me the file. He managed to manipulate everything. Thank you, Henry. And I love you. Louisa's mind spoke again with a faint smile showing on her face right now.
"That's the price you deserve for the time being, George Tomkins." Henry said in his voice that sounded flat there.
"I won't let you get out of this building safely. We will see. I will kill you both!!!" George Tomkins was ready to pull the trigger there, before finally his right hand was hit hard upwards by someone from behind him. It instantly made George Tomkins drop his gun, and fall slightly to the floor.
Louisa looked at the person. He is Julian. Julian deftly pointed the gun in his hand straight at George Tomkins who was lying on the floor. Julian stared at Louisa and Henry there briefly, then looked back at George Tomkins. George Tomkins, on the other hand, was staring intently at Julian, full of hatred there. "You!! Again you!! You always interfere with my plans. What do you want, huh?!" George Tomkins lost control of himself.
'I will always try to thwart your plans. Anything related to Louisa, have to deal with me first." Julian replied coldly.
'Supposedly, I killed you when you killed my son! The child has no clear identity! You don't even deserve to be a Tomkins! I should have never married your mother, if I had known she was pregnant with another man's child! You all damn. Why do you always interfere with my plans!!!" George Tomkins tried to get up. But the palm of his right hand again picked up the gun that had fallen.
Dor
Julian pulled the trigger into George Tomkins' hand, and it hit him. Made George Tomkins instantly moan in pain once more. But that didn't stop him from taking his phone again. With a bang, George Tomkins tripped Julian's leg, causing him to fall and lose his balance. Henry and Louisa simultaneously widened their eyes. Henry tried to fire a few shots at George but missed because of the old man's swift movement.
'You should be the one to die, and not my son!" George Tomkins screamed and shot Julian in the stomach. As Henry refocused his shots on George Tomkins' shoulders and waist. Making the man fall and hurt. Julian and George Tomkins groaned in pain.
"Brother!!" Louisa shouted hysterically calling out to Julian who started coughing while clutching the injured part of his body.
Henry and Louisa immediately ran towards Julian. Followed by the arrival of Henry's agency friends who immediately secured Julian, their boss. Meanwhile, the FBI secured George Tomkins. They took Julian and George Tomkins to the hospital. Louisa cried in Henry's arms. "Everything will be fine. Calm down, Louisa." Henry mumbled ever since.
"I don't want to lose him. After all, he is already like my family. He is part of my family. My older brother." Louisa muttered as she saw Henry's agency friends' car that was running very fast in front of them.
"I know. We have to keep praying for Julian's condition." Henry answered.
