The day began to turn into the afternoon, the alarm clock showed exactly five o'clock. Louisa has even been at her house since this afternoon. Since where had he last spoken to Henry in her office earlier. Louisa was seen locking herself in her room, curled up in the blanket and crying on her pillow and bed. She couldn't help herself since Henry left her office. Louisa even remembers what they talked about the last time.
'I think we need to take a break, Henry."
'Louisa... please, I can explain everything." Louisa remembered how Henry tried to explain.
"No, Henry. I should have realized everything from the start. Given that you were hired by Uncle George for me. I should have known from the start that you did work only for Uncle George. And everything that happened between us so far is only part of the plan and the game. Please, Henry.... just leave now..."
Louisa remembered how she really wanted to turn around and hug Henry tightly, but she held herself back by clenching her palms at her sides. Trying really hard not to even turn her head to look at Henry. Henry was silent for a moment after that.
'If it's your decision, then I accept it, Louisa. But, I swear, I'll explain everything... I'll try to get a second chance from you. I mean it. I will try to win back your trust and love for me again, Louisa. I promise."
After saying that Henry slowly and his reluctant footsteps started walking back towards Louisa's office door there. Get ready to go. And as his palm gripped the doorknob, Henry wished that Louisa would stop her footsteps. But not. 'Louisa… even though I lied, but I would never lie about one thing to you. The truth is I really love you, Louisa. Love you so much…" Then after that, Henry opened Louisa's office door and walked away.
Louisa then fell down on the floor in her study and cried. That was the only thing that kept going around in Louisa's mind since she entered the house. What's more, her crying didn't stop at all when she realized she was too used to Henry's presence around her. Even when Louisa got home, she really avoided the room that Henry usually used. She didn't want to remember Henry being there anymore. She wanted it all gone. But even the disappointment in her heart couldn't go away and just disappeared.
Drrttt
Drrttt
Louisa peeked from under her blanket with her eyes still tearing up, and her face that looked very puffy, looking at her cellphone which was lying on the small table beside her bed. Reluctantly, Louisa stretched out her right hand to reach the cellphone and check it. There was a call from Mr. George. Louisa frowned deeply, she didn't want to talk to the old man. Really. For God's sake, Louisa didn't want to have anything to do with Mr. George. Then with a grunt, Louisa picked up the call.
"What do you want now?" Louisa asked in a loud voice. She had even changed her lying position with a sitting position on the bed and leaning on the back of her bed there.
'Don't be rude to me, Louisa. I was kind enough, to warn you from the start. But, you completely ignored my warning. You're creating new trouble for Tomkins House by letting them all watch that CCTV video." Mr. George explained in a tone that sounded offended.
"I never want to hear your bullshit again, Mr. George. And hear me one more time now. The warnings are of no value and the result is again now. Because I already know everything. All your plans. I know everything. Then let everyone know the consequences they will get by betraying my trust, and cooperate with you." Louisa growled in every sentence she said.
"What do you mean, Louisa?"
Louisa took a deep breath. She was starting to feel embarrassed. "Don't pretend you're stupid and don't know anything, Mr. George. I know that you have a plan and are working with Henry and Jane–my secretary. And even so, I will definitely prove it. That you and all the sinister plans that you have or will plan for me and the Tomkins House company I will surely thwart. Then you will be rewarded for your crimes."
Louisa immediately ended the call and turned off her cell phone. Louisa kept trying to be able to control her breath that felt breathless right now. Then slowly, Louisa started to get up from the bed and walked towards her dressing table. She looked at her reflection. Her hair looked very disheveled, her face was puffy from the remnants of her tears, and her eyes were bloodshot until they hurt. And unfortunately, that combination made Louisa look really pathetic.
'I can't go on like this… I decide everything. Then why should I cry? Why am I so sad and disappointed with my own decision? I… I should be happy, that I was able to make this decision…"
Louisa muttered and tried to cheer herself up right now. Louisa glanced at the alarm clock which started to show six in the afternoon. 'Gosh, I have to start getting ready to go to Lenore and Miliana's engagement party already. Gosh, what should I do now? My appearance now even looks very pathetic and also terrible. Wretched." Louisa spoke quickly, while going into the bathroom to clean herself, including fixing her current appearance.
When Louisa really started to feel refreshed, she immediately got out of the bathroom, and started getting ready. Opened her wardrobe and took out a plain black long dress with an open back. Arranged her long hair and tied it with a matching black scrunhee. After finishing styling her hair, Louisa started to apply light makeup and put lip balm on her lips. She didn't want her appearance to be too flashy. And for the final touch, Louisa wore a ring and necklace to add color to her appearance, and didn't forget to use perfume all over her body. Louisa is ready. She looked at her reflection and smiled. But it was a fake smile. Louisa immediately left for the location of Lenore's and Miliana's engagement party.

When Louisa arrived in front of the location of Lenore and Miliana's engagement party, she was silent for a moment in the car. There were a lot of reporters who came there, and started taking lots of photos towards all the guests present. She found it very strange and did not like it at all. She felt very anxious, and unfortunately she could start to feel his body shaking very strongly. Louisa tried to catch her breath and tried to stay calm. Then looked at her reflection on her phone, making sure that she still looked fine. Louisa decided to wear sunglasses, before finally deciding to get out of her car. And all of a sudden all the paparazzi and reporters took his pictures. The camera flash actually dazzled Louisa's eyes.
Louisa lowered her head slightly, while walking towards the door of the rapid building. And there, she was immediately greeted by a maid who directed her into the building. Louisa replied with a faint smile there. When Louisa was already inside the building, she could see a lot of people who were quite famous in this business world. And from there, Louisa also saw Lenore and Miliana who were with the people congratulating them. Immediately, Louisa stepped her feet towards the two of them.
'Hi..." Louisa greeted as she got close to Lenore and Miliana.
"Hi, Louisa!" said Lenore and Miliana at the same time with big smiles on both of their faces.
Louisa returned the smile and hugged Miliana tightly while continuing to whisper congratulations. And when Louisa let go of the hug between them, Louisa could see the happiness clearly reflected in Miliana's eyes. Then Louisa turned to give Lenore a handshake. "Congratulations to both of you. I'm really happy with your engagement..." Louisa muttered after that.
'Thank you very much, Louisa… I'm glad you could come to our engagement party. It's really something I've been dreaming of for seven years, and see." Miliana paused for a moment and showed her palm and the palm of Lenore's which had their engagement ring on it. 'We are finally engaged!!"
Louisa nodded her head with that big smile on her face right now. 'And yes, you guys are really engaged in the end… and I can't wait for your wedding invitations…" Louisa teased the two of them.
'Oh my God, Louisa. You wouldn't know how cool Lenore was when I forced him to choose our tuxedo and engagement theme. How will he behave when choosing our tuxedo and wedding theme… it will take a lot more time…" Miliana replied remembering Lenore's attitude that had annoyed her just a week before their engagement.
"Honey, you know, I'm really really bad at coming up with themes and stuff." Lenore said as a form of self-defense.
'And you are the owner of a fashion company, honey. And look at Louisa, he's always trying to find excuses, even though he's not very good at it at all."
This immediately brought laughter among the three of them. "Oh, Louisa." Lenore muttered which immediately stopped the three of them laughing there.
"Yes?" Louisa looked at Lenore curiously.
'Why did you come here alone? I just realized… where is Henry?" Lenore continued, looking around the room.
'Yeah, I just realized that too…" Miliana muttered.
Louise was silent. He couldn't say right away that she knew Henry's lie and decided to distance himself. "Um, he... Henry... I..." Louisa stammered. Inside her mind, Louisa tried to come up with a reasonable excuse.
'Hey, congrats to you two, Lenore and Miliana."
Someone's voice interrupted him from behind. Louisa immediately turned her head to the right and found Henry who was just standing right beside her with a very wide smile. As for Henry, he also returned Louisa's gaze with a smile on his lips. Louisa quickly averted her gaze.
'Oh my, you finally came. We thought Louisa came alone earlier…" Lenore explained, and shook Henry's hand.
'No… we came together. I had to go to the bathroom. But again, congratulations on your engagement. I'm so happy and happy for you." Henry answered cheerfully.
'Of course, thank you very much for coming. And please enjoy the show and the food." Answered Lenore and Miliana at the same time.
"Then excuse me, Lenore, Miliana..." Louisa muttered as she went ahead of them there. Go to the food served.
Henry who saw it immediately smiled a little. 'I will follow her then. See you later..." Henry immediately followed Louisa's footsteps who tried to avoid her.
Lenore and Miliana who saw that momentarily looked at each other. 'I thought it looked like they were having a fight," Miliana muttered.
"That seems right." Lenore agreed.
On the other hand, Louisa took the glass of wine served there, and drank it slowly. Louisa could clearly see that Henry was trying to get closer to her. Louisa took a deep breath, and tried to dodge again. But Henry had grabbed his wrist first. "Don't avoid me, Louisa." Henry muttered.
'What more could you want, Henry? And why did you come here?"
'I came, because Lenore invited me. I know you won't tell me anything about everything that happened. But I'm here, to be able to prove, that I will fix things. And I want us to go back to how we used to be, because I really love you, Louisa."
