Chapter 11 I was wrong
But today, she didn't see anyone along the way. All the plants at the yards were all withered, looking like it had not been taken care of for a long time.
She felt that something was wrong and walked fast toward the house. There was no one at home. She was going to make a phone call, then frome the back yard came out a man.
'Who are you looking for?"
Yolanda was stupefied. The man in front of her looked unfamiliar. He was probably a new servant.
'I am looking for Mr. Morgan."
'Oh, you mean the Mr. Morgan who lived here before? They had moved away long time ago."
'They moved?" Yolanda was stunned. What did he mean that they moved?
Getting out from the old house, Yolanda called her father with puzzlement. Then she found out that she could not get through to her father. Four years had passed, she didn't even know what happened to the Morgan's. She didn't know her father had sold the house and she didn't know her father's phone unmber.....
Yolanda felt upset and wanted to cry. She tried to stop sobbing and then dialed many numbers. Finally she got to know her father's new address from her uncle. But she also heard that her parents had not contacted with other relatives for two or three years, so what exactly happened to her parents was not clear.
It was a old community here. She walked at the passageway where was dark and with ads posted everywhere. And there was an awful odor floating in the air. Every time she make a step forward, she felt bitter. Her parents loved cleanness and tidiness most, how could they put up with this and live here?
She didn't know exactly which floor were her parents at. She wondered around at the passageway for a long time. Then a passer-by asked her, 'Hi. Beauty, who are you looking for?"
Yolanda was nervous and swallowed hard, saying, 'I'm looking for Lee Morgan. He is ......"
She was trying to describe her father's look to him, but she found out that she had already forgotten what her father looked like. Five years passed, he was supposed to grow old a lot.
The man looked at her for a while, and suddenly he frowned and said, 'Are you Yolanda?"
