Chapter 38 Is It Really Not Yolanda?
Jonathan was ecstatic with a smile, and his heart beating violently in the silence.
'Yolanda! Is that you, Yolanda?" He walked through all the way, trying to feel her.
However, he didn't see anybody after searching several times.
While sitting in the living room with disappointment, Jonathan thought, 'is it just a illusion?"
For over a year, everything in the villa was talking about her departure, and everyone dared not mention anything about her.
But he always felt that she would come back.
He covered his face and finally believed that how crazy he was.
...
On the anniversary of the death of Yolanda, Jonathan went to the cemetery early.
Far away, he saw a blurred figure, which drove him emotional and excited. That figure...
He hurried forward, but suddenly stopped.
In front of him, it was a thin and slender woman, with hair to waist, and wrapped in a black windbreaker.
'Yolanda..." Jonathan muttered that he could not believe his eyes. He was ecstatic and afraid.
Was this a dream?
Hearing the sound, the woman turned around and slightly frowned, 'do you call me?"
It was Yolanda!
The eyebrows, the eyes, the lips, the body and the tone were exactly the same as Yolanda! Jonathan believed.
'Sir, my name is Wendy." The woman smiled.
She smiled like a sunflower, which was exactly the same as he first met Yolanda. But the woman said her name was Wendy.
Wendy?
She was not Yolanda?
Jonathan didn't smile anymore. But why did she stand in front of Yolanda's tombstone?
'Oh." Wendy seemed to understand his doubts and smiled, 'you should be Mr. Field, right?"
She knew him?
'I'm here for Yolanda." Wendy looked beautiful with her smile. 'Many people tell me that I look like Yolanda. I'm also surprised that there's such a thing in the world."
'You are?"
'Oh. Before leaving, Yolanda denote her heart." Wendy gratefully touched the position of her heart and smiled, 'I have the heart from Yolanda. Recently, I recovered so I'm here to visit her."
Jonathan couldn't believe it at all but all things made sense.
How could a man died in his arms be revived?
This woman, was really different from Yolanda. She seemed to like Yolanda at the age of eighteen whose smile could melt snow.
But how things could be going like this?
Driving her home, Jonathan always thought about this.
And when he saw Timothy in the hotel where she lived, Jonathan was doubtful. Why Timothy was here? Jonathan thought.
So he checked some messages as soon as he could. And the final results was astonishing.
When Timothy being abroad, he was staying with Wendy. And Wendy was a simple woman. She grew up abroad and returned home at the age of eighteen. Then she has been hospitalized. A year ago, she had a heart transplant when Yolanda died.
It wasn't long before she went abroad for adjustment and came back recently.
Nothing made none sense. But why Timothy was staying with her?
It seemed reasonable while unreasonable.
...
As soon as Timothy entered the hotel, he was stopped by Jonathan.
'What's the matter?" Jonathan asked directly.
Timothy seemed not to understand, 'what do you mean?"
'Fuck! What the hell is going on!" Jonathan was really angry. It's a thing that almost didn't happen for more than a year.
Timothy tidied up his shirt and said without any emotion, 'Wendy? You see, she looks like Yolanda. I knew that Yolanda's heart was transplanted to her, so I've been with her all the time. I do think it's none of your business!"
'How dare you give Yolanda's heart to others?" Jonathan shouted with scarlet eyes.
'The aftermath of Yolanda is entirely my responsibility. I'm free to do whatever I want."
Timothy didn't want to talk anymore, passed Jonathan and was ready to leave. But Jonathan stopped him. The anger of the two men was imminent, but Timothy endured it.
'Wendy..." Jonathan whimpered, 'is really not Yolanda?"
Timothy hummed, 'are you joking? You saw Yolanda's body."
Yes, and he even brought it back himself. He stayed with Yolanda's body for several hours. So he could be sure that it was Yolanda.
'Anything else?" Timothy glanced coldly and left.
Jonathan knew that nothing needed to be said. Because all hope turned to despair in an instant, which made him feel more desperate.
He believed that he and Yolanda would never meet again, and so would Wendy.
However, one day, he met Wendy in the hospital.
'Mr. Field." Wendy greeted him with enthusiasm.
Jonathan looked at her, 'to check?"
'Yeah." She looked around and offered a warm invitation, 'now we meet, why don't we have a cup of coffee nearby?"
Jonathan didn't expect that she would invite him and frowned slightly.
