Chapter 29 You believe her or me?
Jonathan was irritated and pushed Yolanda away, hugging Lindsay, helping her back on the bed, saying, 'Have a rest."
Then he dragged Yolanda out of the room. Yolanda was stumbling, following him. Tears were fill wih her eye, but she did not let them fall down.
Jonathan let go of her till they got to a corner. He pressed his hand near her ears, and the other hand grabbed her by the neck and pressed her against the wall.
'Yolanda, what do you want from me?" Jonathan was extremely angry with her.
Yolanda was out of breath and her face got red. She could barely cough, crying, laughing. Her expression made Jonathan frowned and more irritated.
'What do I want?" Yolanda finally got away from her hand, touching her neck, coughing constantly. She was chocked so her tears could not stop dropping. She was laughing brightly and presumptuously, saying, 'That is what I want to ask, actually!"
She blinked her sore eyes, saying, 'I've decided to let go. Why do you keep troubling me? You knew that my mom is my last comfort, but you just put her in jail with no mercy!"
'It serves her right!" Jonathan pressed his lips together, saying, 'Besides, Lindsay begged you and tried to help her to gain commutation. Why are you sill troubling her?"
Troubling her?
He thought that she knelt on the ground begging Lindsay was actually trouble troubling her?
Yolanda could not help laughing coldly. Jonathan, when did you become blind? And when did your heart become blind?
'What if I tell you that it was Lindsay who set my mom up?" Yolanda was gazing at him, 'You believe her or me?"
Jonathan felt disappointed, silent for a while, then he turned around. His back was facing Yolanda, showing some loneliness and then he said, 'I'll find you the best lawyer to help aunt to gain commutation."
Listening to his footsteps getting farther and farther, Yolanda raised her head and laughed.
Ha, did she need to thank them for their forgiveness and mercy?
