"Mitchell Grey!" "What?" "What is this?!" Jake gripped the bracelet in his hand. "It's a bracelet?" Mitchell glanced at him for a second before lowering her head to blow on her newly painted nails. If one were to look closely, they would have seen the guilty look on her face. She had taken a fancy to this bracelet when she and Jake were shopping together with Malik and Nesa, the son and daughter of Auckland's gang leader. She knew that Jake had received an unlimited golden card from Vale and was hoping that he would notice the bracelet and buy it for her. He did notice that she had been eyeing the bracelet when they enter the shop but ignored it. However, another person also noticed it and decided to buy it and gave it to her after they went back to the mansion. Malik decided to call her out to the backyard mansion before giving it to her. Mitchell naturally rejected it at first but gave up when he insisted. Anyway, the bracelet cost a lot. It should've cost six figures at least. What made her feel guilty was that she hid it from Jake. Knowing Jake's temper, he would surely blow up if he knew that she met Malik without telling him. Mitchelle rolled her eyes and looked at the bracelet. She picked it up and ran her fingers on it. Sighing, she decided to go out and pawn this bracelet. Although her heart hurt a lot for giving up a rare treasure, compare to her relationship with Jake, it's not worth it. Jake? Where did he go? Mitchelle stiffened. Damn it! She just said that Malik gave it to her! If he went to cause trouble right now... Mitchelle dashed out of the room and started running frantically around the house and asked every servant and maid that she met about Jake's whereabouts. Her heart tightens, and her body went cold. Even if Vale and Auckland's gang are allies, they just got newly acquainted. If something were to gone wrong... there are no possibilities that they would return back to the country. Alive. She runs to the backyard and saw Jake and Malik facing each other. "Jake, stop!" She walks towards him, nervously. "What's going on here?" a feminine voice rang out behind her. Seeing that it was Nesa, Mitchell smiled before stuffing the bracelet into her hand, "Oh, your brother says that he wants to give this to you." "Eh? So generous? Wait, this bracelet only cost six figures, right? Brother, you're so stingy." Nesa complained. Mitchelle felt like something was stuck on her throat as she coughed in embarrassment. Isn't six figures expensive? Malik was disappointed when seeing this. However, he still gave them a blank look in return, "If you don't want it, then throw it." Nesa pursed her lips and turned to Jake, "Oh, I saw that you brought a diamond rose ring yesterday. Why not exchange it with this bracelet?" Malik frowned, "Nesa!" Why did he have such a shameless sister? Hearing this, Mitchelle was curious. She turned to look at Jake with an inquiring gaze. Jake felt the heat of the stare but ignored it as he looks at Malik, "When do you want me?" "Tonight at 8 p.m. in my room." Jake nodded before walking off. Normally, Mitchelle and Nesa were overwhelmed when they heard this. Nesa felt as if she just discovered her brother's big secret and ran off to find her parent. On the other hand, Mitchelle stood dumbstruck as she stared at Malik with an accusing gaze. Malik who didn't know what's going on inside the two girls heads only stared at them blankly. "What?" he asked. "Asshole!" Malik didn't have the time to dodge when he saw Mitchelle's slap. PAH! Malik holds his numb cheek and looked at Mitchelle with a wronged expression. "You...Why did you slap me?" "Stay away from Jake! He's mine!" Mitchelle fumed before she runs to find Jake. Malik was dumbfounded as he tried to recall what had gone wrong. Mitchelle opens their bedroom door and closed it behind her with a loud bang. "Tell me! What's your relationship with him?!" she immediately roared at Jake who was sitting on the sofa. "Who?" Jake stood with a wronged expression on his face. "Quick! Put it on for me!" Mitchelle urged him. Jake's eyes flashed craftily. He took the ring and put it on her finger. Mitchelle was still looking at the ring in a daze when Jake lifted her. Carrying her towards the bed. Mitchelle gave him a confused look when she saw him stripping his clothes off. "What...What are you doing?" "Baby, you've received the engagement ring. We should make our engagement official now, right?" he smirked.
