"Morning" Lexis chanted as he entered the kitchen while I was having breakfast. "What's with the change of moods loner?. Aren't you supposed to be dying of a hangover" I coughed "What? How'd you know?" he said helping himself to breakfast "Nothing" I shrugged, deciding not to tell him anything "Well, I got to go help with the preparations for the party. Then you'll take over because I have a lunch date at one" I hopped "Whoa, lunch date? With whom?" He asked "And why do I have to tell you?" I shrug "Because I'm your fiancé" "Well....fake and besides it's only friendly. Don't worry, if you're scared that you're going to lose me, don't because I'll be here for the next three years" I shudder. "As if. I'm only asking because I need you out of my hair" he scoffed. "Sure loner" I laughed. "Yoooo Feisty what's up?" Ryan shouted as he entered the house like he owned it. "I'm great actually, loners friend. Oh before I forget I got something to show you but that will be later. We don't want loner boy here to see it" I whispered pointing at Lexis "Oh you bet" He winked, wrapping his arm around my shoulders Lexis cleared his throat, getting our attention "Well Ryan, am I invincible because I remember seeing two people in here when you walked in" "Come on bro, you don't have to be so jealous, you know that I'll still see you" Ryan teased "Whatever man, I don't even want to care" his usual cold demeanor taking over "You are such a pussy" Ryan retorted, laughing "Don't you have somewhere to be?" Lexis turned to ask me "You really are jealous man. That's low. Very low" I teased him as Ryan laughed "I'm not going to continue bickering with the both of you" he spoke before he went upstairs as we both laughed at his retreating figure "Anyways I got to go, so you have to deal with your pussy of a friend" I smiled "Na, he'll come around" he dismissed it "Okay then. Bye loner's friend" I waved as I turned "See you later Feisty" he waved back .............. "Isn't this amazing, I actually got a B+ in the first semester. I can't wait to call mum" Melia said excitedly "Yeah, at least you can tell your parents. I got a C. A fucking C because I missed two of my tests and Mr. Hallowell was too proud to allow me to make up for the one I missed. I can't my parents shit." I lamented "Well in your defense, Eriel was the reason you missed one" she suggested "So guess what girls" Brooke says, entering my room interrupting the conversation "I got us a reservation for a night out at club Royale. VIP exclusive. It's going to be a night to remember" she squealed "You are overly excited" Melia said in a dull tone "Come on ladies, when last did we spend our night together" she mused "Last week" Melia and I interjected "Okay. When was the last time we had a girls night out, just us girls." She corrected herself "Okay fine we get it. We aren't complaining m' am" I teased, standing up to get dressed for my lunch date "Ooh someone's excited for their date" Melia sings "Look she's all giddy and jumpy" Brooke adds "Oh God, what is wrong with you people. This is just a friendship kind of date so please stop giving too much meaning into this" I retorted "Fine. Your words" Melia said giving up "So, what are you wearing" "I don't know. Something a little bit casual because I don't want to look overdressed like the last time" I reply rummaging through my closet "Okay so something casual but a little on the side of fancy" Brooke looked into my closet "Ah-ha! Gotcha" I exclaimed. It was a blue vintage floral dress that my Grandma bought me before she passed away. "That'll do. It's quite pretty" Melia says "I know" I agreed. So I decided to get ready. I did my make up myself, despite the pleas of my friends. I decided to go simple, just lipstick and mascara. Plain old me. I wore my favorite pair of sandals and wore a few accessories then I looked at myself in the mirror. Great "I really don't know why you didn't allow us to help with your makeup" Melia grumbled as I walked over to Aiden's car "Because this is just a very casual date and I know that you and Brooke don't live for casual" I replied before I opened the door to Aiden's car to reveal a freshly shaved Aiden wearing a very top with jeans. Causal. "Hey stranger" he greeted "Hey stalker" I replied "Who's the hottie" he said shamelessly "Oh this is Amelia and the other standing at the door is Brooke" I introduced and I saw an unmissable flash of recognition in his eyes the minute I said Brooke. "Oh hi Amelia and please do tell Brooke I said hello" he said to Melia while waving at Brooke "Okay dokey, enjoy your LUNCH DATE" she said emphasizing on the 'lunch date' part "Will do and please don't disrupt my room thanks" I told her sternly "As if. You can't disrupt something that's been disrupted" she smirked "Good one" I said rolling up "You guys are something else" he laughed as he drove "Oh you haven't met Carter yet, he's more than a handful" "I know" he spoke quietly "What?" I questioned "Oh nothing" he dismissed it. I shrugged "Okay here we are" he said after some time I looked up. It was the definition of fancy. "The day I decide to dress casually, you decided to take me to a fancy place. I mean what is wrong with you men?" I fake groan "Come on you look absolutely perfect for it." He reassured me "Stop trying to make me feel better. I really don't give a shit about how I look." I dismissed "What really?" "Yeah, the only reason why I have to care is because of my parents. They live for formality" "Okay" he laughed as he helped me get down As we got to our seat, I couldn't quite miss the attention all the waitresses were giving Aiden and he kept on walking like nothing was going on. "You do know that every waitress in this building is sending goo eyes at you." I told him. "Oh yeah I know, I get that every time" he replied cockily. "Good afternoon and what will you be having this afternoon?" A waitress asked, disrupting our conversation. "I'll have a steak with grilled vegetables" I spoke up but she wasn't really paying attention to me "I'll have whatever she's having" And the waitress laughed. She laughed. Nothing was amusing in what he said but she laughed and I a questioning gaze at Aiden and he shrugged. I think I know what to do "So babe, I really enjoyed last night" I said in the most seducing voice ever. Aiden looked at me confused but went along with it "Yes darling, you were the fantastic one in last night" he copies me "I can't wait for another round with you" I chewed an imaginary gum "What do you say; you me my car right after lunch" he winked. "Uh um so um steak and grilled vegetables?" The waitress said in embarrassment "Yes that is what my girlfriend and I will be having" he spoke while I placed my hands on the table and smiled sweetly at her as she grew hot from embarrassment Having enough of our sex talk, she walked away briskly. Then we burst out laughing, earning glares from some customers "That was epic!!" We continued laughing as we high-fived each other. "You should have seen her face" I said giggling We ended up talking then referring back to what happened then laughing as we ate. "I didn't know you were a fan of veggies" he spoke out as he paid for the lunch after a heated argument about who gets to pay for the meal which obviously, he won "Na I'm not a fan. I just like anything that comes with steak" I shook my head "And she happens to like anything that comes with a dick" A very familiar dark voice said making me freeze in my seat "Nate" I felt my breath becoming uneven "Miss Me?" He asked as he walked to our table with a smirk "What do you want from me?" I hissed "Oh, nothing. I just never knew my ex-girlfriend would be this dumb. Well, she is in fact engaged but then I see her getting a little too cozy with another man. Isn't that low? Especially from you sweetheart?" I tensed at his nickname "Please just go away. He is not my man or anything not that it concerns you so please do us both a favor a shut it and don't come close to me" I grit my teeth as I stood up to walk out of the restaurant. "Oh why, is it because I made you go there. Or is it because I said the truth about your dearest brother being dead" Mischief evident in his words. After hearing the word brother, I swear I heard a vein pop in my head Anger feeling my body, I walked as fast as I could, out of the restaurant as Aiden kept on calling me back. I walked and walked but I didn't look up. Not one time. I pushed past a lot of people but that didn't stop me from walking. I hate Nate so fucking much and I can't do anything about it. I wanted to just hit the he'll out of him but I knew better than to do that. The anger still fueling up inside Me, I clenched my hands and continued walking. He was the main reason why I had to leave school for eight months. I was already a big mess after Leon left because it hit me the most but after what Nate said to me, two weeks after, I would never forget because it made me demented. Not seeing where I was walking, I banged my head hard into a signpost. "Fuck" I cursed as I felt my vision go dark. Everything seemed to be moving and all I could hear where car horns and people rushing to me. "Oh shit, it's Feisty!!!" Ryan shouted to someone before everything went dark.
