Chapter16.

( father's room) I went up to my father's bedroom, he saw me walking in and tries to hide my mom's photo underneath his pillow. "There's no need hiding it from me, I know how much you miss mom," I sat next to him. "You're right, I do miss my wife so much".  he replied. I saw how happy they both were if only father knew what was ahead of him in the future. How I wish Fredrick wasn't this stupid. Father got a little emotional, he admitted guilt that whatever was happening started because of his sins. "What sin dad, What going on because I feel you're hiding something from me". I tried him up from the bed. He sits next to me when Fredrick walks into the room. "Hello dad, are you okay?" He asked. "Do you even care?". He says maintaining the exact look on his face. "I don't understand". Fedrick says, slowly closing the distance between them, his behavior got me angered, I answered in a high tone, " what he meant is, you're nothing but a selfish, dumb, big-headed, idiotic prick, who thinks of no one other than himself". My main aim was to push him to the wall, however, my father held me back, and asked me not to speak. Well, the one in question seems not to care, he gave me a cold stare and said, "two words beautiful! Fuck you". And swiftly pulls out a chair to sit. "So tell me, what do you want". Father asked. "Nothing father, I just came to check up on you". Fredrick anxiously rubbed his neck. Father and I looked at each other, we both knew something was wrong. After a few minutes,  he gets a call and hurriedly left the room (Fredrick's bedroom) Rina anxiously waited for his return and the second his feet walked in, she lets out, "so! What happened?" " I couldn't bring myself to tell him". He says. Rina immediately got angry. "What the hell do you mean by, you couldn't bring yourself to tell him! Are you that stupid?. Her pissed-off mood got him aggravated, he lets out with a warning, "listen carefully, I know I love you but don't even think of insulting me". He turned his back on her and leaves the room. "Incompetent fool". Rina smacked her tongue and turned her face away. The same day, I strolled downstairs, and bumped into Chris on the way, he wave his hand and walked further. "Hello, Sophia, are you okay?' He finds my handshaking. "What happened this time,  What did Rina do?" Chris gets angry. (Inaudible conversation) A minute after telling him what transpired in his absence, he placed his hands on my shoulder and whispered to my ears, "can we go for a long drive?". "What?" I pushed him away. After listening to everything I just said, a long drive is what is important?. "What? Don't give me that look and besides, I need a time out, after spending a whole day at the police station". He brings out his car keys. I asked why he had visited the police station, and he tells he had gone to visit the man that attacked me the other day. I don't know, but I feel Rina's responsible for what happened that day, I have this hunch that her presence here will not yield anything good, it will only be a danger for us all and come to think of it, Chris is right,  a long drive can calm my nerves down a bit. Question of the day?. A)  Fredrick, still has no clue that Rina's presence in the house, is has a result of what Ricardo did?. Will the truth be found out?. B) it seems that Rina wants Fedrick to perform some unknown tasks?. Can he get what she desires and what exactly does Rina what Fedrick to do?. C) Chris, strange desire to go for a long drive, which seems to be a little fishy, will this be a normal drive or does Chris have something planned for his ex sister in law?.
