Chapter 30 - R.I.H
Clyde Nielsen
Luna was going insane after hearing about London. Now I know not to mention London to her anymore. I don't want her to remember her past anymore. After seeing her breaking down in front of me, it was enough for me to keep going with my plan.
If Luna doesn't allow me to go to London, so be it. I'll bring them to me.
I don't want to leave her anyway.
"I'm assuming you've changed your mind?" Asher asked right after picking up my call.
"Yes."
"Well, I saw it coming already. I'm sending Ares to London after he's done in Athens. So tell me, what do you have in mind, Nielsen?" Asher chuckled coldly.
"I want Rodi to deliver them here," I said straight to the point.
"Then do it. You have my permission for this, but after tomorrow, if you get called to Copenhagen, you're not allowed to go." Asher warned, which made me wonder why my family would call me.
"They will need a future King, so you'll be called by your parents, who most likely pointed their fingers at you, accusing you of killing Christopher."
"And you think I want to be King?" I asked because he knew I didn't want to be King.
"You're not allowed to go to Copenhagen, Nielsen. I've warned you, and you better stay away, or I'll send my wrath to you." With that, he ended the call.
I dialed Rodi right away.
"Yes, boss?"
"Rodi, I want you to bring them here to Seattle. Drug them so they won't be conscious on their way here." I said as I sat down on the sofa. I'm still in Luna's apartment, but she's asleep.
"Okay, boss. When do you want me to arrive there?"
"Monday."
"See you on Monday then, boss. I'll update you." I ended the call and leaned back on the sofa. I turned my head towards Luna's bedroom.
"I will make sure you don't have to worry about people hurting you, Butterfly," I whispered. My phone vibrated, and I checked to see Kayden texting me.
Kayden: Come to the headquarters tomorrow by 8 am. Bring some popcorn.
Instead of going to the headquarters tomorrow, I decided to go now. I kissed Luna's forehead and left her a note beside her bed, telling her I would be back by the afternoon.
I walked down to the basement where I put my car, and suddenly my gut feeling told me something was wrong. Instead of getting into my car and driving off, I don't want something to happen to Luna.
Before I reached back into the building, I could feel someone behind me. I slowly turned around and saw a man standing behind me with a knife pointing at my stomach.
Christopher.
He's wearing the mask of one of the tenants here. He replicated his face perfectly, but I could see it was Christopher immediately. I knew that hazel eyes too well. I could recognize him anywhere and anytime.
I was stunned to see him here, but I must calm down. Christopher snapped, and seeing him in this state convinced me he was a crazy psychopath.
None of us said anything, but Team Alpha appeared behind me in time, pointing guns at Christopher.
"Where's Bianca?" He asked as he dug the knife more into my skin.
"Kayden gave you the GPS to her. She's in Mexico." I said, looking straight at him. His phone rang, and he took it out from his pocket, still with a knife on my stomach.
I glanced at the caller ID, and it was Asher.
Christopher picked it up and put it on speaker. He pushed the knife into my skin even more.
"I have Bianca on the line. Let's hear her," Asher said, and I guessed he got alerted by the Team Alpha for this.
"Christopher." Bianca took over, and Christopher took a few steps back. It's been one and a half years, or almost two years, that she's been looking for her. They were secretly dating for a few years before my father arranged for Christopher with the woman of his choice.
Bianca found out that Christopher wasn't a great man. He told her that he planned to lock her once they got married. Bianca hated the idea because she's a journalist. That's why she decided to run away and hide from him.
"Bianca, where are you?" He asked.
"Why is it so important for you to know my whereabouts?" Bianca asked in a cold tone. "Even though you know where I am, I'm not returning to you. You're a terrible person, Chris."
"Because you've been selfish. You only think about yourself and left me." Christopher was mad.
"I've moved on, and you should too."
"So touching." Asher took over, and Christopher threw his phone. He ran towards me with his knife, one of the Team Alpha's members shot the knife precisely, and I grabbed a gun from one of them, pointing at Christopher's forehead.
"It's been a while since we've seen each other, Chris, but you sure are dumb enough not to realize who you're dealing with," I said, and he looked straight at me.
"I should fight for the throne," I added, and he got angrier. He wanted the throne, but he was not worthy of it. "I'll remove you easily from the list just by giving the world all the evidence you've done throughout your life." He wanted to kill me so badly.
"Same goes for you. Do you think I don't know what you did as a member of the Bloodhounds?" He threatened me back, and I let out a chuckle. "Seeing how much I'm worth, I don't think people will believe you," I said confidently as I strolled towards him.
"If you kill me, you'll be in jail for the rest of your life." He warned.
"I don't mind." I loaded the gun in front of him. He was shaking and I smirked, "Boo!" I scared him and he ran away.
"Go." I commanded the team and we captured Christopher easily. He drugged him and sent him to where the trap is.
"Rest in hell, Christopher."
