77. Overflowing love
'Oh my God, perfect!" Chelsey exclaimed as she finished the last series of shots with Braun and Briella. They were in a rocky part of the resort, completing their final shoot for their PreNup photos as a couple.
They had been at the private resort for three days since arriving, and they had spent two days busy with their photoshoots. Chelsey seemed tireless in her efforts to capture their pictures, and it was evident that she enjoyed what she was doing.
'You're a real Goddess, Briella! You look like a real mermaid!" Janice exclaimed in awe.
Briella was wearing a strapless crystal mermaid dress, deliberately letting the long sleeves float in the water, freely carried by the waves. Her long, wavy hair adorned with tiny pearls further enhanced her beauty. She couldn't hide her protruding belly, which was clearly visible in Chelsey's shots. She didn't mind, though, because it was their first photo together with Braun.
Speaking of Braun, he looked perfect in simple khaki pants. He wasn't wearing a shirt, displaying his perfectly toned masculine body. There was no flaw in his physique; he was clearly well-maintained and without a hint of fat.
'Are we done?" Braun asked Chelsey and Janice, his expression sour.
'Come on, can't you at least appreciate how beautiful your future wife looks?" Janice retorted.
'My wife is pregnant. She can't stay in the water for too long," Braun said firmly as he lifted Briella. 'Hand me the towel, please?"
Janice shot Briella a look, but she didn't say anything and just handed Braun the towel. He approached them and wrapped her in a large towel.
'Congrats! You did well," he said with a smile.
'Thanks!" she replied, looking at Braun, who still looked grumpy. 'Thank you to you too, hubby."
Braun just nodded and gently lifted her out of the water, then seated her on an extended bench under the large tent they had set up.
He handed her some water, and she drank it immediately.
'Take off your clothes right away, and you might catch a cold. It's getting dark, and the wind will be cold soon," he said as he stood behind her to unzip her dress.
Their friends approached, delighted by the success of the photoshoot.
'Do you want to see the pictures I took of you and Big Boss?" Chelsey asked her, smiling.
She shook her head. 'I'll look at them when you're done editing."
'What about you, Big Boss? Do you want to see them?" Chelsey asked Braun.
Braun just scowled at her and didn't reply.
'It seems like Big Boss is more pregnant than you, Briella. He's even grumpier!" Chelsey teased Braun.
She chuckled softly and glanced at Braun. 'Don't ask him, and we'll look at them when everything's done."
'Okay," Chelsey said, and without warning, she took a photo of them together.
'Hey!" Braun exclaimed to Chelsey.
'It's better to capture moments like these, Big Boss," Chelsey said with a smile, seemingly unfazed by Braun's glare.
'She's right," she said, leaning against Braun's back. 'Just let her be."
Braun stopped arguing with her and just helped her take off her dress. Afterward, he immediately put on a thick robe.
'Are you hungry?" Braun asked her.
She checked herself to see if she was hungry and shook her head. 'I'm just sleepy," she replied.
'Sleepy again? You might get fat, Briella. It would be best if you walked around and exercised. Aren't you afraid that your wedding gown won't fit you next week?" Chelsey said to her.
She frowned. 'I know what I'm doing, Chelsey. Why don't you do that? Can't you see yourself? You're gaining weight!"
Chelsey's eyes widened at her words. She was about to speak, but Braun's parents approached them.
'Let's go back, Leby prepared a special meal for everyone," Braun's Mommy said.
'Perfect timing, I'm starving!" Chelsey said with a smile.
One by one, their companions approached, and they all returned to their lodging together.

As they entered their room, Braun immediately led her to the bathroom for a shower. He made sure the water wasn't too hot or too cold before placing her under the shower. She smiled as she watched him, and he noticed right away.
'Why are you staring at me like that?" he asked.
'Can't I look at my husband anymore?" she laughed, echoing his question.
He chuckled softly and continued to wash her body. He also applied shampoo to her hair.
'Tell me something, President Braun. I still don't know why you helped me that night when I got drunk and dared to kiss you..." she said, placing her hands on his neck.
'I'll tell you on our wedding day," he replied with a smile and kissed her lips.
'Why not now?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
'Because I want to," he answered, rinsing her hair.
She took some shampoo and applied it to him, needing to tiptoe to reach his head.
'Easy, you might slip," he reminded her, immediately holding her waist to support her.
'I know you wouldn't let me fall," she joked.
He chuckled softly and let her continue. She felt his gentle caress on her belly, which comforted her. After rinsing his hair, he turned off the shower and wrapped her in a robe before wrapping himself.
He assisted her until they reached their room.
'The bathroom floor is slippery, and you need to be careful. I'll call the manager to put a non-slippery mat for your protection," Braun said as he sat in front of the dresser.
She didn't argue; she knew she wouldn't win in debating these matters. He always reminded her that her safety and the safety of their baby were necessary, even if it meant he wouldn't allow her to lift a pillow.
He took the hair dryer and dried her hair, and then he fetched their clothes to wear.
'Braun, I can dress myself," she commented when he refused to give her clothes. They exchanged glances, and it seemed he didn't want to let her, but eventually, he relented and handed her the clothes.
'I'm only two months pregnant, and you're being overly cautious. What will you do when my belly grows bigger, and I'm about to give birth!" she scolded him.
Braun took a deep breath and ignored her tantrum. 'You know I don't want you to be hurt," he said.
'I'm fine! And you'll regret treating me like this when I'm really in pain!" she retorted, snatching her clothes and abruptly removing her robe to put on her clothes.
Braun smiled as he dressed, and he was even faster than her, which annoyed her even more. She slapped his shoulder.
'What was that for?" he raised an eyebrow at her.
'I'm annoyed with you!" she exclaimed and left in front of him.
She flopped onto the bed and covered herself with the blanket. When she felt irritated like this, she preferred lying down and sleeping. She didn't want to face their companions, who might laugh at her tantrums.
She felt Braun lie down beside her, but she didn't respond and remained still. She wasn't angry with him, just irritated, and she didn't know why. Braun wasn't doing anything wrong; it was just her mood swings acting up.
'What do I need to do to make my wife's annoyance go away?" he asked gently, slowly pulling the blanket covering her.
She didn't answer and turned away. Gosh! Maybe I'm catching Chelsey's childishness!
She felt Braun's hand gently stroking her belly, and she automatically felt relieved. She allowed him to continue his gentle caresses until she gradually felt sleepy. She turned to face Braun and nestled against his chest, hugging him tightly.
After a few minutes, Braun felt her wife's deep breathing, indicating she had fallen asleep. He smiled and kissed her forehead lovingly before tenderly rubbing her back. He let her sleep and reached for his phone to send a text message to his sister to begin eating and not make too much noise so as not to wake Briella.
He knew she must have been exhausted since yesterday because of their whole day of shooting. He couldn't defy Janice's orders either because the outcome was good. Chelsey's photography skills were impressive, and Janice might even consider hiring her as the company's photographer.
He sighed. Janice hadn't changed at all and still hadn't stopped pursuing her ambition to make her company known worldwide as the home of excellent photographers. He couldn't blame her because ever since he met her, they both decided to pursue their careers. It had been her dream.
Briella stirred, but she didn't wake up. He saw the smile on her lips, knowing she was probably dreaming about their future child again. Often, she would wake up in the middle of the night or early morning, laughing softly and mentioning a name, which assured him that their child was the subject of her dream.
Next week, the woman who stole his heart would be officially introduced to the world, and from that day on, he wouldn't allow anyone to hurt his wife. He wouldn't let anyone come near her just to hurt and insult her.
'Tell me something, President Braun. I still don't know why you helped me that night when I got drunk and dared to kiss you…"
He smiled as he remembered Briella's question. He wanted to tell her the whole truth about why he approached her that night, but he preferred to reveal it on their wedding day.
The reasons he gave her for proposing to her weren't genuine. There was a deeper reason behind it all, and he was ready to admit it on their wedding day. It would be better if everyone, including their parents, knew the truth behind his proposal to Briella.
He gazed at his sleeping wife and couldn't help but kiss her lips with overflowing love for his wife and the angel they would soon welcome into their lives.
