Though nervous, Briella managed to act normal as they entered. When Braun opened the door, she felt like her feet were anchored to the ground and couldn't move. Shocks! Get a hold of yourself, Briella! 'Calm down, they're all nice," Braun reassured her. She gave him a sharp look, feeling like he was enjoying seeing her, nervous and flustered. As the door fully opened, the vast living room where Braun's family gathered came into view. She furrowed her brows upon seeing some familiar faces, and as they approached, her eyes widened. 'M-Mom?" she called out in surprise. Everyone turned towards them, and they all stood up and greeted her with smiles. 'Why are you all here?" she asked, raising an eyebrow and referring to Mommy, her siblings, Jeydon and Kimineah. They just smiled in response, so she shifted her gaze to Braun beside her. 'So this is your surprise?" He smiled and nodded, guiding her to the three elders sitting on the opposite couch. Braun introduced her, 'Mom, Dad, Granny, meet my wife, Briella Montañez El Cueva." She immediately greeted Braun's Grandmother with a respectful bow but hesitated to approach his parents, unsure how to greet them. 'Good evening," she politely greeted them, bowing. She was surprised when Braun's mother suddenly hugged her. 'Be careful, Mom, she's carrying our baby," Braun quickly informed his mother. 'Oh, stop it. Our grandchild is fine. I'm just happy that you finally brought my daughter-in-law here!" Braun's mother said, her tone tinged with slight reproach. How are you, Briella? Is my son taking good care of you?" Due to her surprise, she just stared at Braun's mother with her mouth slightly open. She didn't expect such a warm reception. 'Please excuse my Mom; and she's been wanting to meet you for a long time. Welcome to our family, Briella," Braun's father said with a smile, opening his arms for a hug. 'Oh, they're already here!" they heard another familiar voice shout. When she looked around, she saw Nami and Braun's friends Travis, Luigi, and Janice. 'Easy on, Briella, you know she's pregnant," Nami admonished Braun's parents as they approached. 'We're just happy to see her. You're really just like your brother," Braun's mother remarked. 'Brother?" she couldn't help but blurt out. 'Nami is Braun's younger sister, didn't he tell you?" Braun's mother asked her in surprise. She looked at Braun, and he just shrugged. 'That explains everything," Braun's mother said. 'Call me Mommy Jessele, and this is my husband, Leo, and my Mom, Ana." She nodded again and respectfully greeted them. 'Sorry about my grandson being secretive. He's always busy working!" Braun's grandmother exclaimed. 'Good thing that you came into his life; at least his life became meaningful," Nami said with a smile, giving Braun a pat on the back. She looked at Braun, who quietly listened to his family. Soon, the conversation became severe, and she had no idea what was happening. Based on their discussion, Braun's parents were planning their wedding. 'Shouldn't we ask Briella what kind of wedding she prefers?" Nami interjected into the conversation. 'I agree," Janice added, raising her hand. Everyone turned to her, and suddenly, she felt embarrassed and didn't know what to say. But if they were asking her, there's no problem with a beach wedding. It was her dream to get married in the middle of the ocean. 'Don't put too much pressure on Briella," Braun interjected with a sigh. 'Shut up, Braun, no one's asking you, so don't answer," Nami snapped at her brother. Braun was about to speak, but she beat him to it. 'I... I dream of having a water wedding," she said. 'That's a great idea!" Braun's Mommy applauded. 'Then it's settled, a water wedding!" Everyone immediately agreed to her desired wedding theme. Even Braun, who had been quiet all along, smiled and held her hand. 'Bali will be the best place for a water wedding," her Mommy Lebyth suggested with a smile. 'Yes, I agree with you, Leby. I'll talk to my friend who's an organizer tomorrow to start planning and organizing everything," Braun's Mommy said. 'I'll take care of the outfits," Janice offered. 'I'll help you with that, and maybe Kimineah has the same idea as me," Nami said, grinning at her quiet sister. 'Um, if it's okay with everyone—" 'Of course it is!" Janice cut off Kimineah. 'I'll handle the Bachelor party!" Travis exclaimed. Jeydon and Luigi will help me, too," he added, wrapping his arm around Jeydon. 'Why do I feel nervous with that smile of yours?" Janice scowled at Travis. 'Come on, don't be such a killjoy! It will be fun; I still have the contacts of our college friends, you know," Travis said, winking at Janice. 'Tch. Whatever!" Janice said, rolling her eyes. 'In that case, I will organize the Bachelorette par—" 'No!" Braun quickly objected, giving Janice a stern look. 'Excuse me?" Janice raised an eyebrow at Braun. 'Leave that to Nami and Kimineah," Braun said. 'Hey, that's unfair!" Janice protested, standing up and stomping her foot like a child. 'P-Perhaps we can do it together," Kimineah suggested shyly. 'Careful, hun," Travis teased Kimineah. 'You don't yet know who you want to spend time with," Travis teased Janice. 'Shut your fcking mouth, Travis," Janice snapped at him, which he just laughed off. Braun's Mommy cleared her throat. 'Stop your teasing, and let's get back to our discussion. I want to see my son and Briella get married as soon as possible. Let's not prolong it." 'I agree with her," Braun's grandmother chimed in. 'How about you, Leby?" Braun's Mommy asked her Mommy. 'It's fine with me. Whatever decision my daughter makes is okay with me," her Mommy replied with a smile. All eyes were on her again. Why am I the one making the final decision? She looked at Braun, and he smiled at her as if telling her it was up to her to decide. She took a deep breath and spoke up. 'Whatever your plan is, it's okay with me," she replied. 'Thank you, Briella!" Braun's Mommy said with a wide smile. Their wedding planning discussion lasted for over three hours. It seemed like everyone was more excited than her and Braun. Included in the plan was their prenuptial shoot in Bali, Indonesia, with the theme inspired by the famous movie cartoon Little Mermaid. Next week, they would all go to Bali for the photo shoots, and their wedding would take place the following month. After the planning, Braun's Mommy invited them all to dinner, and they happily shared the delicious food laid out before them. However, her stomach seemed to be looking for something else, so she whispered to Braun, who was beside her and busy talking to his father. 'Hubby, I want ice cream and pizza," she softly told him. He paused momentarily, then quickly took out his phone and excused himself. 'Where's he going?" Travis asked, following Braun's gaze. 'Food cravings," she replied with a wry smile. 'Is he craving?" Janice asked. She shook her head. With everything Braun was already doing, she couldn't let him burden her with her cravings. It would be too much. 'I heard you came from a photoshoot. Aren't you tired, dear?" Braun's Mommy asked, concerned. She shook her head. 'I rested in the car on the way here," she answered. 'Why didn't you bring Chelsey?" Janice asked. 'I didn't know about this gathering, so I didn't invite her. Besides, she might be busy with other things," she replied, taking a sip of water. 'Chelsey, your manager, right?" Braun's Mommy asked. 'Yes," she replied. 'When can I meet her? I'm so curious about that woman. From what I heard, she's the heir of Viacom, am I right?" Braun's Mommy asked her. She nodded. She didn't inquire further as to how Braun's Mommy knew, but she couldn't escape the probing gaze of Luigi, who had been silently observing. She furrowed her brows in secret and only now noticed Luigi's silence. 'Luigi, fetch Chelsey. I called her to buy pizza and ice cream," Braun said upon returning. 'You called Chelsey?" she asked, surprised. She thought he was just going to order food. 'Yup, I trust she'll bring back the right things rather than ordering food where I'm not sure if it's safe or not," he replied. After wiping his mouth, Luigi politely excused himself from everyone and left without a backward glance. 'That child hasn't changed at all," Braun's grandmother remarked. 'Do I need to push him harder?" Janice asked with a smile. She couldn't understand what they were talking about. She glanced at her siblings, who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nami immediately bonded with her two siblings. Despite everything, she was thankful that her siblings didn't hold any grudges against her and her mother for the tragedy that occurred in their family. Her Daddy was in prison, Meryll didn't survive the severe injuries caused by her Daddy's brutal beating, and Megan was taken to a Mental Institution. Her sister, Megan, had a worsening mental condition, but her siblings didn't give up on their eldest sister. Her Mommy graciously accepted her two siblings and promised to treat them as her own, welcoming them into the Montañez household, and for now, Jeydon was acting as the CEO of Lé Fragrance because Kimineah had different interests. 'He might get angrier at you if you do that," Braun's Grandmother said. 'Yes, you know his temperament. It's just like his boss, who takes everything seriously and falls short in the love department," Braun's Mommy added. 'That's why I wanted to talk to Chelsey. Maybe she can find a way to change your brother's attitude. He seems to be planning to be a lifelong bachelor!" she added. 'Briella, you don't think I'll have a hard time convincing your friend Chelsey to make Luigi fall in love, right?" What? Her eyes widened as she glanced around, shifting her gaze between Janice and Braun's Mommy. Make Luigi fall in love? It seemed unlikely to happen.
