CHAPTER 19
ROD AZRAEL'S POINT OF VIEW
I gave the money to the private investigator and paid the bills. The people still looking at me like crazy. I can feel their weird gaze toward me. It is because I shouted earlier, I felt embarrassed right now. I like wanted to be eaten by the earth, right this instant.
I lowered my head as I walked out of the cafe. As soon as I get out, the cold wind blows on my skin, I felt the cold wind touching my skin. I walked towards my car and looked above the sky. The sky was as blue as the ocean, the wind is as calm as the water, the sun was bright like before and also the birds were flying freely above the skies.
"If he was Blaike's past lover. What happened to the both of them in the past?" I asked myself curiously.
I hold the cold car door of my car and go inside. I heard a phone ringing, I get my phone in my pocket, my phone ringing. But who was calling me?
"This number is not on my phone list," I said to myself curiously.
I was thinking twice before answering the phone since I dont know who was behind it. It takes me seconds before I answered the call. When I answered it, a male voice spoke, a familiar voice.
"BlueDragon," he calls me. How did he know my code name?
"H-how did you k-knew me?" I respond in a crack voice.
"I am here to warn you! Dont dare to tall Blaike, who was Amelia in his life. Because if you do, you would not see other sunlight. And the life of your leader depends on you," he warned me as he said those words.
"WHO ARE YOU!?" I loudly shouted at the phone.
"I am one of your seniors. Dont shout at me ever again. If you dont wanna lose your life," he replied.
"Wha-t?" I said dumbfounded. My senior? Did he mean--?
"Yes! This was an order from us. Just make another story that you are gonna tell to Blaike. That Amelia is his dead sister, like that. It was up to you, but dont tell him the truth. Your life, his life, and all the people that were under Blaike's control would depend on you. I have people that would know if you tell the truth to Blaike. Choose a wise decision, BlueDragon," he warned me again.
"Y-yes, Senior," I answered in a husky voice.
After that, he ended up the call. I was both scared and terrified right now. As I laid my hands down, the phone I was holding loosen in my hands. I dont know what I am gonna do right now. Blaike wants to know everything. He is waiting for the updates and information for weeks. If I lied to him, what I am gonna say to him? He is been kind to me. I have never had anything against him. But our lives depend on the decision that I would make.
"What I am gonna do?" I asked myself.
I took a deep breath and sighed. I looked around me, it was silent. There are only some people who keep walking around. I think I know, what I am gonna do right now. Telling the truth won't make things any better. Telling lies for the sake of our life would be the best decision that I would make.
I started my car engine and drove off. When I got to the mansion the guards opened the gate for me. I parked my car and goes inside the mansion. I use my eyes to search everywhere in the spacious living room, as soon as I laid my eyes on Blaike. I immediately walked toward him.
"Blaike!" I called him seriously.
He looked at me, and I sat down beside the sofa he was sitting on.
"Im glad that you were in here! I was about to call you. We had important things to do," Blaike solemnly said.
Blaike was about to stand up. But I said something to him that makes him sit down. "I have information about Amelia,"
"Wha-t?" he shockingly replied.
I can see in his eyes, the bizarre look in it. I can feel the curiousness that arose within his presence. He sat properly and move closer to me to listen carefully. He is patiently waiting for another word that I would say.
"I have some news about the girl named Amelia," I hesitantly replied to him.
"What did you know about her?" he quickly asked me.
I looked at him seriously and took a deep breath.
I must do the right thing to do. My life and their life depends on me. I must do this for the sake of everyone. I must choose a wise decision. This is a life-and-death situation.
But I wish-- that Blaike would forgive me for this...
"She was your dead sister," I replied to him.
"My sister?" he curiously asked. "Where is she? Does she live around this area? What else did you know about her?" he excitedly said as he continued to ask me one after another question.
He seems happy knowing he had a question.
Im was sorry for lying to you Blaike. But it was the right thing to do. Our life depends on it, I wish in the future once you know the truth, you would forgive me.
"She died due to a mental illness 2 years ago. Her body was buried in America, with her husband. She doesn't know you well, since she was your half-sister. She doesn't even exist. In the past, you always go to America but, watch her from afar. She was the sister you wish to be closed too but, but it never happened," I explained to him.
Deep inside me, was saying to me, that I should say to him the truth. But I could never do that. Maybe at the right time.
"Thank you, Rod!" he thanked me. I just smiled at him. "Let us go! We still need to get Mr. Walson's men to expose his evil deeds. Come on we need to hurry up," he commands me.
I stand up and followed him.
His mission is more important to him than anything else. Even though I said who was Amelia, he still chooses to focus on his responsibility. Deep inside him was a burden starting to arise. There is a responsibility that he needed to handle on his shoulders.
We drove our car towards our meeting place. I just followed their car of Blaike, our plan must assist right now. Because as I can remember this was the day, when would Mr. Walson's men gonna be transported to another station? If we won't take action, then we are sure, that our biggest witness would be dead by now.
When we reach our destination we parked our car. Then goes inside the place. The men under Blaike's were already in here. They were wearing black shirts and pants and also a bonet so no one would recognize them. I also wear mine, and Blaike does the same. Different high-end guns were placed in front of us.
"We wait in this path," Blaike pointed at the place on the map, that was placed on the table. "In here, our vans would wait in the police car that would transport Mr. Walson's men. After that, we would ambush them and get that person. We would put him inside our car. We would not kill any policeman, we would just shoot at their neck with some sedative so that they would fall asleep. We will block their driveway so they would stop driving," he continued to explain.
We just listen to his explanation. He was good at making plans. Soon once he accomplished this, the seniors would also be giving me the leader position. I learned a lot from Blaike, in those three years.
After we make a plan, they got there with their gun. Also, the sedatives we would use. Everyone was busy getting ready.
"If anything does not go according to plan. Protect yourself, kill if you must," Blaike said.
Then we are all ready, we finish putting some bullets inside our guns. Some of Blaike's men put away the high-end guns that we would not use. I looked at Blaike that was now wearing the black suit that we would use.
I took a deep breath and sighed. It was about time, to do our mission. We all get inside the van and drove off. We got to our perspective places. We all waited for half hour then the police car showed up.
One of our vans blocks the police car. They used some gas so that the police would go out of the car. As soon as the police go out they shot the sedative in the neck of the police and they fall asleep. Mr. Walson's men also fall asleep because of the gas we throw. We put him inside the van and drove off.
"Is everyone alright?" Blaike asked seriously us.
"Yes, Boss!" we all replied.
Then Blaike looked at the hostage we had.
"We finally got Mr. Walson's men," Blaike said proudly. Our mission is one step ahead to success.
