CHAPTER 45

BLAIKE IVERSON'S POINT OF VIEW "What?" Rod asked me. His mouth was wide open so that a fly could enter inside. He seems shocked at what I asked him. Since in three years we are both determined and focused on every mission we had. We never dated any girls during those three years. Because all we had on our minds is mission and guns,  that is the only thing that revolves around our life. "Y-Yes, " I utterly answered. Then in a second, her expression changed. He laugh and laughed until he can't laugh anymore. He laughed until his stomach hurts and he couldn't move anymore. Is there something funny? Did I say something funny? I began to question myself. Because he laughed like there was no tomorrow. I just stared at him dumbfounded. I'll just wait for him until he finished laughing his butt off. "Are you joking?" He asked me. I shrugged my shoulder and answered him. "No!" "Look,  Blaike! The two of us know that I never dated anyone in my entire life. The first girl I loved was Ayeisha and I didn't even ask her to be my girlfriend yet. Because I am busy with a lot of things that were going around in the underground society this past few weeks. I can not advise you anything about love, " he explained. I took a deep breath and sighed... I just facepalm myself... He got me wrong. I just needed his help to fix the surprise that I was gonna planned for Amelia. But until now I still didn't have a plan. "Look! bro. I just needed your help for some preparations that I am gonna do to surprise Amelia," I told him. "Then what I can help you? When do we start? Do you have any plans yet?" He asked me one after another question. He seems to show some interest in our topic now. He was the one who looked excited about the surprise. Maybe he wanted to learn from me to know how he would court Ayeisha. "Chill! Bro, " I told to him while stopping to laugh. "What?" He asked me and raised his eyebrow. "So to tell you the truth I still didn't have any plans yet. Do you have any suggestions?" I asked him. "Well I have a lot, " he replied. "Okay! I would listen, " I said. I just move my chair to listen closely to everything that he would tell me. I grab some juice and drank some before leaning over to listen carefully to Rod. "How about we could go to the beach,  then spread some rose petals and put some candle in the middle then light it on. Then the petals would be scattered around and forming it on saying "Would you be my girlfriend again?". We should do it at night so the stars the night would give the light on the dark place. Also the sounds of the ocean would be the calmness of the whole surroundings, " he explained. He gave a good idea to do. But the petal roses would be more get on our time,  it would be exhausting for the both of us to do it alone. Since I don't wanna hire someone to help me do it since I wanted it to be especially and do it on my own. I would just be needing a little help. "We can also try on the farm, where a large area. We can set a picnic there and you can have a great time. The blows of the cold breeze would make the whole place more romantic with some light candles around you. We can set some clean sheets on the ground and some food in it,  you can both sit on the clean cloth. It won't be fancy,  but it would be romantic, " he suggested. I just listen closely to him while I was nodding my head. The time flows by as he just continued to say his endless suggestions. ROD AZRAEL'S POINT OF VIEW I was with Ayiesha today because he asked me for a favor to drive her towards the mall. She was gonna buy something,  but she wanted some accompany. Then while I was walking with her. I saw a familiar face. "Ayeisha, " I whispered. I was confused for a bit and just stared at the woman's face because she looked exactly like Ayeisha. Now it hit me the reality... FLASHBACK "Ayeisha..." I whispered her name. I walked away from them,  I don't want to cause a scene. I just advised and comforted her because she was heartbroken from Blaike. Now that she had finally moved on,  she is now with another man. How about me? How about my feelings for her? I wanted to cry... Because it hurts me so bad seeing her be with someone else. I tried to hide my feelings toward her until now. But I can't hide the pain I was feeling. I tried to stop my tears from falling from my eyes. Because I didn't want anyone to see that I am getting weak because of love. In our organization,  we should not have any weaknesses. That is why we are orphans who dont have any family. So it would not be against our every mission. I didn't realize love would be my weakness. Now I understand why the organization doesn't want Blaike to remember Amelia. Because it would just be a threat to our mission. "Love, " a voice caught my attention. A couple was hugging each other,  they are twenty meters away from me. The familiar figure of the woman caught my attention. She was Ayeisha... The woman who was hugging the man beside him was Ayeisha. I felt a sharp knife stabbing my chest.  My heart shattered into a million pieces as I saw them happily hugging each other. The smile on Ayieha's face was different. It was the first time that I saw her happy in these past few weeks. Now a question occurred to my mind... Does Ayeisha happy with this man? "Love, " Ayeisha called him as she loosen the hug between them. "I wish I was with you all the time. I missed spending a lot of time with you, " the man sighed as he said those words. Ayeisha gently holds the man's face and wiped the happy tears that were falling from his eyes. How I wished that Ayeisha could also do the same to me. "Come on! Love. We saw each other every day because we live on the same roof, " Ayeisha jokingly said. They lived on the same roof. What? But Ayeisha was living with us... Is that why I didn't see Ayiesha on the house lately? Does the organization let her fall in love with this man? Does the organization know this? I know that any of us didn't let the organization fall in love. Because they didn't want it to be a burden to our mission. It is the rule for the boys. But is it also the rules for the girls? Ayiesha put her head on the shoulder of the man. I just sadly watched them while I broke myself into a million pieces. They looked happy while I was watching them in here. They looked so perfect together. But how about me? How about my feelings? I can't watch them anymore... I want Ayeisha to be happy. But I didn't want her to be happy with someone else. I am being selfish because I wish that Ayeisha and that man would break up? I just want Ayeisha to be mine... All mine! I stand up and looked away,  away from them. I walked away as far as I can so that I could not see them both. When I reached my car,  I go inside and started my car engine. END OF FLASHBACK "The girl I saw that day was not Ayeisha, " I whispered to myself while still staring at the woman. She looked like Ayeisha. She was like her carbon copy. But who is she? There were a lot of questions keep popping inside of my head... I made myself dumb that same day in front of Ayeisha. FLASHBACK I sat down and closed my eyes. I wanted to feel the warm breeze. "You want some juice?" A familiar voice spoke up. I opened my eyes and almost jumped out of my seat when I saw her. "Ayeisha!" I loudly shouted as I stand up from my seat. "Do you want some?" She asked me. But I didn't bother to look at what she was handing me. I was a bit confused now... I just saw her on the beach with some guy. Now she was standing in front of me. I am dreaming or this was real? "Ayeisha... Is that you?" I asked her in disbelief. I took a step one by one before touching her face to know if she was real or just a ghost. "Hey! Stop, " she hissed,  and she hit my hand so that I would stop. The way she hits my hand hurts a little. So this was not a dream,  it was all true. But I just saw her earlier on the beach. Right? Was it all my hallucination earlier? Did I see her on the beach earlier? A lot of questions keep popping inside of my head. It was running and spinning inside of my head like crazy. It wanted some answers that would gonna bothered me. I just gonna brush my mind,  on what happened earlier. "You seem you saw a ghost. Is everything all right?" Ayeisha asked me then sat down on the chair. She put the juice she was handing to me on the table beside her. Because I didn't get it when she was handing it to me earlier. I sat down next to the chair on her and grabbed the juice that she had indeed given to me earlier. "Did you go to the beach earlier? Why I haven't seen you in the house lately?" I asked her. Because a lot of questions wanted some answers. It just keeps bothering me as it stays inside of my mind. Maybe it won't make her feel uncomfortable if I asked her those questions. "I am just in my bedroom earlier and I still haven't left the mansion yet. And this past few days,  I am just reporting something to one of our superiors, " she answered. She didn't leave the house? Maybe it was not her the one I saw earlier. Maybe I was just overthinking. "Are you dating someone?" I immediately asked her. I wanted to shut my mouth the moment those words came out of my mouth. "No!" She immediately responded. "I won't date at this moment, " she continued. I was stunned by what she said... Those words that came out of her lips made me calm down. And stopped me from overthinking. END OF FLASHBACK "Rod... Come on!" Ayeisha called me and pulled me. I just let her drag me because I was still a completed shocked. Trying to process everything inside of my mind. "She was not Ayeisha..."
