CHAPTER 22
AYEISHA SALVADOR'S POINT OF VIEW
I goes out of my luxurious red-tone car, and silently closed the door.
I looked up above the sky, the wind blows my dark brown hair, a warm breeze passed by my bare skin, and my dark brown eyes looked upon the sky.
The sun was like the stars at night, the skies as blue as the ocean, birds were flying freely in the sky, you could the birds chipping happily, leaves were blown by the wind, and nature was colorful as before.
In a secluded place, my superior called me, she wanted me to meet her there.
I took a deep breath, before, I opened the dusty handle of the old door.
I entered the old and dusty room, there were a lot of cab webs inside of the house, and spiders were all around the corner. I sneezed because of the dusty interior of this house, inside was dark, only the strays of lights that came from the opened window that was coming outside are the only light I can use to see. But suddenly a super shinny light opened up, I almost lost my eyesight, I closed my eyes for a second.
"Ayiesha," a familiar voice called me.
I opened my eyes, the whole place was now bright. The place was unpleasant because of the dusty and messy view.
"Follow me!" she ordered.
I just covered my nose and tried not to smell, the bad smell coming from the house, also the dusty appliances that can make me sneeze.
I followed her, she opened a wall that I thought was a dead-end, but as she press something, the wall opened. My eyes opened widened, and my jaw almost dropped to the floor. My eyes rolled as I was amazed, looking left and right at the four corners of the room.
The candleholder glimmering in crystalline design added more aesthetic to the room because of the natural lighting it gives in the vicinity. On the top of the ceiling, was the glamorous significant chandelier that can give elegance to the whole room. The light that gives of it makes the whole room more pleasant. The smell was like the fragrance of a flower.
There was a lot of equipment in here.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
It was different from the outside. I didn't know this room exist, in the dusty outside of the house. The unpleasant atmosphere outside of this room was the opposite of the chamber.
I rolled my eyes, as I explore the surroundings. I was amazed at how clean and appropriate the whole room was. It was not like the first time I entered this how.
My boss sits on a sofa, and I sat down across from her. She looked at me take her cup of them and drank a little. Before she turned to me and spoke.
"How was your stay in Blaike's house? Does he was doing his mission well? Or does he remember everything?" my boss asked me one after another question.
I took a deep sigh before I answered.
"Blaike and Rod kept me there until I can walk on my own until I can support myself. I was always in my room because Blaike wanted to. But I always sneak and listen to their conversation. There are no suspicious things they are doing. They have no girls around, they are also almost out of their house. I think they are taking the mission seriously since one night they come home, and their car was full of bullets," I explained.
For almost a week, living in Blaike's mansion. They both welcomed me, but Blaike was a little bit moody and stayed away from me. But Rod keep me acquainted, he never let me feel I was not a ghost in this house, he let me feel at home.
I dont know! do
Why?
Why do they have to keep an eye on Blaike? Because--- he was the deadliest and most capable man to do every mission he has given.
I just can't under on my point of view. When do they need me to keep an eye on Blaike?
Questions kept appearing on my mind, asking why they needed me, there is a lot of questions that I wanted to be answered.
"Why did you need me to keep an eye on Blaike Iverson?" I was shocked as I said those words, I immediately covered my mouth with my two hands.
My Senior almost choked, on what, she was drinking. Her eyes widen as she looks seriously into my eyes. She puts down the tea she was drinking and sat properly.
Then she spoke to me." I dont need to explain this to you," she stated. "But-- since you asked, I would just tell you. Blaike wanted to quit after this mission so we needed to make sure she would stay. She wanted to reunite with her past lover, Amelia, and that is what we are preventing to happen. Rod was like a loyal brother to him, so needed a person to look after him, and that is why we send you as a looked out. The organization can lose a person like him," she continued.
I just nodded as she explained to me everything.
Now--, now---...
I understand everything...
They needed me, they needed a skilled girl like me.
"Okay," I answered.
"After this mission, Blaike planned to get back to his former lover, Amelia. So if you could make him fall in love do it. So just make sure he won't remember anything, in that case, he won't have any reason to leave the organization," she revealed.
"Noted! Ma'am," I replied.
And nodded.
"There is a backdoor over there," she said and pointed to a door from her back. "I would see you out now! I needed to attend an important meeting. I would call you later!" she continued.
I smiled and nodded again.
She stand up and I followed her. She opened the door, and then I walked out. As soon as I walked out of the house using the back door. I looked back and there was no door in there.
How did that happen?
It was a stunt for a second, then after a while, I found myself taking a taxi, to Blaike's mansion.
I just left my luxurious car there, my superior would need that.
After a half-hour drive, I finally gets from the mansion, I paid for the taxi and didn't get my chance, I goes down and the guard opened the gate to me. I walked from the long garden towards the big door of the mansion. I opened the big door and goes inside, I walked towards my room throw myself in the soft, and fell asleep.
My eyes were still closed, as my phone rang, the sound was weak but, it gets louder and louder.
I opened my eyes, the ceiling was the first thing I saw. I rubbed my eyes before picking up my phone.
My eyes widened and my jaw dropped.
When I saw my superior had 4 missed calls on my phone and almost 40 texts.
My hand started to shiver as I saw that on my phone. My heart started pounding like crazy. My hand was trembling as I picked up my phone.
"H-hello," My voice trembled as I answered my phone.
"Why did you not answer my call and text immediately?" my superior coldly stated.
"I-I just...,"
"Dont bothered saying," she cut me off.
Phew!
I thought she was super angry at me...
"We talked about putting more securities on Blaike since he was determined to leave the underground society with or without his memories. I wanted you to make sure and do everything in your power to stop him from doing that. You were third from the list that was strongest and capable of doing every mission," she started. "You know we need a person like Blaike in our organization. Since our organization was built so we can stop the rich people doing crimes. You need to cooperate wisely with us," she continued.
"Noted! Miss," I replied.
This organization of ours was to protect people from greedy people. I would do everything in my power to do this mission.
Because once Blaike stayed in the underground society more. Then he would be one of the superiors soon. He was one of the most important people in this kind of life.
"If you needed to put recorder or CCTV on the whole house, cars, or anything to find what they are up to do it. We needed Blaike, more than he needed us. Get close to him, use your eyes to see what he's up to, use your ears and listen to what he was planned doing," she went on.
I sighed...
This would be a disaster...
Since Blaike was an intelligent man. I needed to think of a plan to know how Blaike would not realize, I was keeping an eye on them. Especially on Rod, because he would easily notice it.
"And Ayeisha one more thing--- no one should know that you are part of the organization or else we would all be in big trouble," she warned me.
"Noted! Miss. No one would know that I am also part of the organization, where Blaike and Rod were working. I promise they would not know that you gave me a mission to keep an eye on them, and stopped Blaike from leaving the organization," I proudly answered.
"Good! Give me a call when you would give me some news,"
After my superior hung up...
I heard a tray of food fall on the ground, it echoing in the four corners of my room.
I looked back and saw a terrifying scene...
I saw Rod...
My hands started shaking, my whole body trembled, my heart almost skipped a beat, my jaw dropped and my eyes winded.
"Rod," I gasped.
