Sick Joke

I lay in the cold freezing night for hours, the only sound I heard was the crashing of the water on the side of the dock. I could barely move due to my body being so cold, my body felt numb as I lay there staring at the side of the old wooden dock. I was just holding out hope that Rupert or Lizzy who pop their head out, they would tell me it was some sick joke and it was all going to be okay. But that didn't happen. The ropes around my hands felt tight and were piecing through my skin, I somehow went passed the feeling of pain with my hands. They hurt for a few hours but now were numb, as like my whole body. The wind began to pick up sending a even bigger chill through my body, to make matters worse mist had started to form which meant I was getting wet. I repeatedly try to mind-link Gray or anyone, but as like before I couldn't. Whatever chemical he held to my face has caused a total loss of communication between me and my wolf. Hopefully it's not permitted, well let's hope I get out of this situation first as I was really starting to doubt that fact. The only reason I was holding on was for Gray, I couldn't leave him ever. I couldn't even sit up anymore it hurt too much, all I could do was lay there looking at the tall grass. In the distance I see what look like two flashlights, soon after I hear two men shouting my name as they look through the tall grass. I master up the last of my strength that I had and shout. "Help! Please help me!" I shout as loud as I possibly could, I immediately get their attention where they start to run towards me. "It's the Queen, we've found her use mind-link!" One shouts bolting towards the old wooden dock to knell beside me "your majesty, it's going to be okay" he tells me lifting my freezing body to sit up, which I'm not gonna lie hurt a lot, he tries to let go but I immediately start to fall sideways making him hold tightly onto me. "Th-the Kings mother is in the wat-er with Rupert , you n-eed to get them out" I say through shivers, he looks out onto the lake than back at me "they haven't sur-faced for hours" I say knowing there was no hope they would still be alive. "I need to concentrate on you ma'am, I see you're tied up" he says looking behind me at my hands trying to pull them off "do you have a knife, these are claw proof?!" He asks the other guy who was standing just off the dock, he looked as though he was mind-linking people. The dude shakes his head which makes this guy curse, he tells him to tell the others to bring a knife. The dudes face once again goes blank for a second. "Whe-re's Gray?" I ask looking up at the guy slightly, hopefully he was close by. "He's on his way ma'am, you're freezing cold" he tells me his hands on my arms "ask the King if we have permission to put our coats around her, she's freezing!" He shouts once again to the dude, in seconds he says yes which makes the man by me take his coat off wrapping it around me, it was much warmer than me but I was still shivering. A few more minutes pass by slowly, the man kept telling me I was going to be okay and it wouldn't be long until I was out and into the warm. I feel my eyes slowly begin to close but he makes sure to tap my cheek waking me up. "I need you to keep your eyes open for me ma'am, the King won't be long I promise" he tells me looking me in the eyes, just then he looks up smiling a little "he's here, over here do any of you have a knife to free her?!" He shouts over into the distance "she's freezing sir, we need to warm her up quickly " he says this time it wasn't directed at me, in seconds someone else was knelling in front of me, I look up to see Gray's worried face looking back at me. "My love, you are going to be okay, I'm here" he tells me placing his hands on my arms, my arms were still behind my back. "I'm sor-ry Gray, I tried to sto-p him but he wouldn't list-en" I say if I had the energy I'd be crying but I just didn't, he whips his head around looking towards the lake for a second then back at me just like the guy did. "You have nothing to be sorry for my love" he tells me while taking his suit jacket off, he places it around my body while my head kind of falls onto his chest, I was still being held back by the ropes behind my back. "I've got the knife!" I hear Josh's voice shout and within seconds, I feel my hands freed and I fully fall into Gray. He picks me up in his warm arms about to pick me up to take me but he's stopped, by the nice man that found me. "It would be better if you wait here and just wrap her in your arms for a few minutes sir, we have to gradually warm her up, it would be dangerous for us just to put her in the hot castle after she's been in the freezing cold for hours" he explains, Gray immediately holds me like a baby warming me up with his hot body. My head lay on his chest and he whispers I was going to be okay, after a few minutes I feel us beginning to move and eventually run. In what feels like seconds I'm placed onto a soft surface, he went to move but I grab hold of his shirt. "Please don't leave me" I beg looking him in the eyes, he immediately moves closer to me running his hand through my hair. "I am going nowhere" he tells me looking me back in the eyes, as I feel someone else walking over as I move my eyes I discover it's a doctor. "The Queen's hands need to be treated immediately" he says lifting my hands up which had little strands of rope in them, I knew they were tight but not that tight. I feel my eyes begin to close as I turn to look at Gray, he places a kiss on my forehead before my eyes drop close and I loose consciousness.
